  1. its what the match up is going to be so they have no choice to say we want (q:who do we play? a:the bills) then we want the Bills I think we match up with the Texans and the Chiefs I don't fear either and think we have a great chance to beat both Texans are all over the place barely beat the Jags lose to the panthers beat the chiefs lose to the colts beat patriots drilled by broncos barely beat bucs
  2. Bellichick his first 10 years had the #1 or 2 defense every years he punted on the other side of the 50 a lot still went for it on 4th down often but relied on his defense......ie brady 145yds first super bowl win but had the #1 ranked defense Tomlin ultra conservative coach at times John Harbaugh probably the most conservative of them all Dungy super duper conservative Pete Carrol is a mix more conservative than not Mike Zimmer CONSERVATIVE Dan Quinn very conservative to a fault John Fox going back years: Schottenheimer Gibbs Landry Vermiel ultra conservative in his early yearts..ucla-philadelphia then free wheeling with Chiefs-Rams Seifert actually a ton I disagree with the lead i think McD has a mission for Daboll i.e. force them to use their timeouts ...or keep it on the ground
  3. the way he puts it....Reid put all assets into the offense its all he worries about its all he knows about he has sketchy Character he takes guys drafts guys you would raise and eyebrow over ....but then ignores the defense and he does it every year which is why he doesn't make the super bowl and they wont again. i have season tickets to chiefs home games and I go to 2 or 3 on the road they have guys running open all over but they should be we are loaded and Reid calls the plays Loves McDermott Allen not sure shows flashes but he's inconsistent and hes guys don't seem to seperate and they are all so tiny...could really use a Kelce when in trouble find the giant TE like Brady just an outside opinion from a guy who is pretty smart and know whats up
  4. do you want the truth McNabb not a hall of famer or even close BUT under Reid 6 pro bowls.....10 season 8 of them winning...5 seasons top 10 qb rating...8 years top 10 yds per game Vick pro bowl under Reid 100.2 rating also two seasons 86.5-84.3 after averaging 75.5 in Atlanta highest completion percentages of his career including 62.6 after never being better than 56.4 with Atl Nick Foles yep pro bowl under Reid 15-9 record 119.2 rating 27td 2int in a season 52 tds 17 picks with Reid Kevin Kolb only 7 starts completed over 63% of his passes and showed well enough to be traded for a second round pick and Rodgers Cromartie who was 25 and a pro bowl corner the year before Alex Smith pro bowl 3 times (zero with sf) qb ratings of 89.1--104.7--91.2--95.4--93.4 102 tds 33 picks....5 years all winning records 4 playoff appearances ya your right Andy has never made ANY quarterback look that good I'm going to take the word of a guy who watches every chief game has for 40 years and knows what he's looking at
  5. they seem to know what they are doing I seriously doubt they bring in Hunt
  6. my best friend is a diehard chief fan- it's Andy Reid Mahomes is good but Reid has been scheming guys open for 20 years and they arent tight windown throws they are high school open. From McNabb to Foles to even Kevin Kolb...made Michael Vick the best he's ever been then over to Alex Smith who never played better and now Mahomes, Even Matt Moore best qbr games of his career? This year at 38 years old for Reid. Dont misunderstand Mahomes is fantastic but they are loaded on offense with a master play caller who has proven it for 20+ years. That said he knows nothing about building a defense spends little draft or FA on it and they always fall short. But you can't argue Reid's play calling expertise and Mahomes now and they other prior being the benefactor.
  7. thats was rothlisberger the other night ? I thought it was Brett Kissell
  8. Im a bit suprised nobody asks what the deal with Krafty and his sex exploits how has it been swept under the rug?
  9. yes....with no middle pressure not even and attempt at middle pressure on defense and extreme vanilla on offense I thought going in why IF you believe you have one waste a great game plan in a meaningless game its maddening
  10. anyone who is thinking super bowl is kidding themselves...they are building it right, not there but its coming....now we can hope for super bowl this year but were not that caliber of team. That said could we beat every team in the playoffs on the AFC side- no doubt could also lose these teams are all on the same level right now Balt maybe a notch higher but not that much. teams have figured out how to slow KC down, Pats are slipping, Pitt always tough but cant blow you away, Texans up and down its a weird year
  11. yes Jets put up a big 310 against the Ravens...and the game was over midway through the second quarter couple thoughts- 1) we aren't playing in a dome sometimes we look at fantasy numbers like a Drew Brees and dont take into account he plays about 12 games a year in a dome as well as one in tampa one in Carolina ...most teams going to put up yards and points in domes especially those who play in them repeatedly. 2) I didn't like the game plan, played scared afraid to make a mistake but still often did third and long consistently. New England constantly 2nd and 2 we would stuff that and then they would pick it up on 3rd and 1 or 2. Conservative works when you have a physical kick butt o line we do not. When forced to move the ball let Allen throw it we moved it. It was house money I would have let Allen throw it as much as possible maybe hold a TE to help Cody Ford because he was the target fore Bellichik and was used yesterday. They all had their problems Dawkins has 8-12 plays where he is brutal. Morse cant stay in the game, Spain does a good job and Felicianao has been very good. Two out of 5 won't work against good defenses. Patriots 13.2 pts given up per game is #1 by a lot but for some reason we can't respect that 3) Allen's ceiling is incredibly high he is getting better and better. He was a project when drafted and we want him to play like he wasn't. Tiny high school to junior college to Wyoming and yet we continue to think he should play like Manning with a former NFL quarterback dad, groomed as a youth SEC national championship College quarterback who played in a pro offense then onto the NFL as a overall #1 pick playing in a dome. Reality is he's coming along very very nicely my expectations are for him to become a top qb in the league by the end of year 3. Give him someone to throw to over 5ft 8 at the wide out position and Ford improvement at tackle and they will take another step. Doesnt mean I'm not disappointed when they lose or upset when he makes a bad play but I'm not clueless to where he's coming from with unrealistic expectations. WGR latest subject is he's the number seven pick, he's the number seven pick !! And if you knew anything about the game you would see why (which leaves the morning and afternoon hosts out) he wasn't drafted number seven for his first two seasons as a starter which by the way he's 15-11 with a playoff appearance coming up. This sounds like too much WGR - telling me good teams don't run it and offense matters not defense- fantasy football is not reality football top rushing Ravens-49ers-Seahawks-Vikings-Cowboys-Bills =83% playoffs here top defense Patriots-Bills-Bears-Rams-Vikings-Steelers= 83% playoffs here most pass attempts and Brady is always the outlier Winston-Brady-Goff-Wentz-Ryan-Prescott-Rivers= so taking Brady out I'm at 0%
  12. lol we are playing some pretty good defenses how the hell we lose sight of that is hilarious. Calm down this game will have no affect in the playoffs nor will the Jet game
  13. i watch their pregame when i can and he disrespects the bills often which is fine. Mooch has never picked the bills for any game, almost like he has an axe to grind did he get pased over for coaching position, Anyway never picks then when ive been watching so for me don't jump on now.
  14. Marrone knows how to dance the dance..(kiss ass) fooling another owner.....can not will not answer to a GM
  15. pro bowl has become a joke and really we cant play in it...we're gonna be busy
  16. 10 wins 2 weeks to go and already in playoffs, division title still in reach. I don't know i think these coaches have made a couple right choices along the way- Singletary has taken over with fresh legs
  17. you back into playoffs off a 16 game schedule you earn it...win enough games your in just like "getting lucky" most playoff teams get lucky during the season it may happen in week 3 or week 5 or week 9 or week 11 or week 16
  18. starts with ownership Pittsburgh has had good ownership, patient stuck with Noll who started 1-13. 5-9, 6-8 in todays football he's gone also had a four year stretch of 28-37 but had the super bowl teams under the belt by then. Cowher had a three year run of no playoffs 7-9, 6-10, 9-7 no one freaked out Tomlin has been a model of consistency 10-6 typicaly couple 11-5 couple 9-7 although Cleveland has won 5 or few games 9 of the 12 years nice has 2 freebies year in and year out substitute new england for cleveland and those 10-6's are now 9-7 the 9-7 are now 7-8 and the 8-8 are 6-10's just switching out one team Jealous? yes starts with ownership Buffalo has poor ownership, and while Ralph was possibly "the" key to the AFL surviving and ultimately the merger and deserves to be in the HOF. A very generous man who Buffalo owes a lot too as a city. But.... as an owner he was over all brutal, always last on coaches salaries not only for head coaches but all the assistants last in money invested into scouting. Always too involved hey i own the team- Rooney's never felt the need to do that- poor choices for head coaches and always meddling Since Pegula's ownership you can't fault him for Marrone as he inherited him, nor him leaving under a ridiculous contract clause from Russ Made a poor choice with Rex who was only making a money grab...but has hit a homerun with McDermott and Beane
  19. very good? beat texans twice in 3 weeks and saints ? theres a chance but it's not good
  20. I ask Sal about this and he responded with what are you talking about its a forward pass.....i dont get it either
  21. he's bracketed moral victory is the wrong term ...but measuring stick ? yep and it does build confidence this is good stuff.....WGR needs to on here.....im not a josh allen excuse guy etc...there are things that prevent a good throw if you watch other teams around the league. I wonder how many of us Bills fan don't
  22. how ? Andrews-Stanley-Bozeman-Mekari-Marshall-Brown-Boyle Ricard TE-OLINE-TE and the FB there bullish O-line is the kind I hope we can build in Buffalo just people movers we need to match their physical nasty style with our d-line and linebackers or they are going to kick our butt I would run the ball, control the clock, NO turnovers or special teams touchdowns for Ravens Here is where field position matters, have to make them go a long ways The d-line is also physical and maulers and refused to be moved they are big and good- what you can do is beat them around corners if we cut guys down their lb's don't run well and the DE aren't sound in there responsibilities they are out there to kick your butt while playing football reverses misdirections jet sweeps-------baltimore also runs a lot of window dressing pulling guys out of the box tough game hope we can win it if we do cannot have a feel good celebration that affects next week , but if we don't cant have a hang over about it that affects next week
  23. Josh reminds me of McNair in a lot of ways he ran alot early then less as time went on but he was dangerous and killer keeping drives alive with a 3rd down run.
