  1. Well, Goodwin left the same offseason as Robert woods. As well as the moves with kujo (actually late enough beane made the move) and Williams (I get, injury). I’m not saying we should’ve kept him but EJ was also McDermott’s first offseason. it was an extraordinarily high number out the door in 12 months. You can nickel and dime the point with Shaq and miller being here but that it’s so few is out of the ordinary
  2. Unless there’s a major injury and some additional distractions... we are just getting the guy that shows up at 260 lbs because he’s just not that serious about his craft. is that “his everything?” Maybe.
  3. Given the huuuuge workload for kamara and Thomas - anything to keep them fresh for 19-20 games is important. He won’t get a ton but hopefully takes some of those short punishing routes from them
  4. Fair assessment. When he’s coaching ballsy, and the team has some swagger - it’s tough to beat them. lately he’s been real bold with play calls and in game decisions and the teams got a ton of attitude (in the good way). The posing after big plays is getting way over the top (oh a fumble recovery? The whole defense and half the offense runs to the end zone to pose), but it’s right in that sweet spot of playing loose but also intense. The “we are going to bury you and have fun doing it” I think probably next year. He’s too competitive to let brady get all the records and this teams built for likely 1 maybe 2 more very competitive years before having to re-group i think brady will hit a wall first but we will see
  5. Eerily similar past parallels? What, that they all drafted QBs at some point?
  6. We have the 42nd and 61st paid guards for vets, a 5th round rookie, and a 3rd rounder in his 4th scheme.... a bad OL coach. despite losing 2 relatively premiere lineman we still traded away the guy that was likely our best. One might argue we didn’t have THAT much interest in a good line this year. Which is odd given our premium rookie qb. Similar could be said for wr.
  7. To be fair, we have. Several times. With brown, levitre, Richie- LG has been one of our better positions the last 20 years. Signing a weak free agent and adding a day 3 draft pick (especially when lineman are slow to adapt in new league rules) is not actually trying to find it though. Having Castillo coach the line isn’t particularly inspiring either.
  8. “Bills leadership can do no wrong because they shipped out so much talent” /jfr
  9. Gutting the roster of every day 1 or 2 pick they didn’t oersonally make is not the blueprint. To do it that quickly is a major outlier.
  10. We cut or traded almost every rookie contract more than 18 months old. We are spending on outside talent
  11. Even without the interceptions he was under 4 yards an attempt. That’s not a good rushing day- it’s horrific passing.
  12. I agree. I just don’t particularly blame him for peterman or Anderson’s stats
  13. To be fair, I barely blame him at this point. I’m just hoping he’s teaching allen well with the film. The others are bums even with the greatest qb coach ever.
  14. Im not saying throw 50 bombs a game but man... take a few chances if you are overmatched as badly as we are.
  15. No but there was a small chunk that wondered about him. The peterman start, the blowouts, etc.... worried some people. Year 4?!? Jesus.
  16. So if we add maybe 3 OL, likely a TE and 1-2 WR we are good, unless shady is actually old or Allen is mediocre... then it’s like the whole thing.
  17. Again, without a run game are short passes doing any good? At least a pick 50 yards downfield is a punt, and a pass interference (or catch!) turns into points at that point. We surely aren’t stringing together 12 play drives, so what’s the harm in taking some shots?
  18. They aren’t making plays on short passes so may as well chuck it down field at some point
  19. Unfortunately, this absurd quote from him does seem to match the problem on the field.
  20. Youll occasionally see it with an established coach i think its very unique in being such a green coach and of course the timeline of it coming together months later post-draft
  21. The saints have just enough swagger to be dangerous. They have a pretty solid roster, well rounded, some depth.... but they are playing loose and with attitude which is important with this group
  22. https://m.facebook.com/684041979/posts/10158319705121980/ the real highlight— found skydiver! edit: I’ll add nsfw and don’t stop watching too early
  23. Most out of work fringe QBs should feel the same
  24. Unheard of kinds of terrible
  25. Unfortunately I do worry about this going into a big offseason and would love bringing in offensive minded staff if dedicating a top 5 pickand bulk offree agency to OL and WR and maybe a young back and probably a TE to support our project at QB. If great offensive front office talent that is willing to keep roughly the defensive scheme in place is available- would be a possible huge opportunity ala the rams
