Bills Mafia Support Nathan Peterman
NoSaint replied to Kevin1778's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could you imagine having a stockpile of NP2 merchandise? Should start a gofundme for that guy. -
looks like torn achilles for Dez

Especially in an instant like this. If fading towards retirement it’s one thing. At the snap of a finger must be tough. -
One might realize this is why we should’ve built an offense first

(hypothetical) Alabama vs. Bills spread
NoSaint replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On a really bad Nfl team how many are 6 of one half dozen of the other with guys on the street? Like most of those busts are still playing in the nfl for a bit. -
(hypothetical) Alabama vs. Bills spread

It feels like most missed the spread. It’s really the key though. And a hard one to bet. I think its fair to say multi touchdown win but not a gimme to be a total bloodbath -
To point 1: isnt “finding continuity” actually code for “hiring a coach and system worth keeping” simply keeping someone to avoid change isnt particularly good. That said, the franchise hasn’t shown much in ID’ing leaders to bring in, so who knows if they know who to ship out
-
Or that the teams done a terrible job hiring. How many do you think would’ve been excellent in year 4?
-
Well, Goodwin left the same offseason as Robert woods. As well as the moves with kujo (actually late enough beane made the move) and Williams (I get, injury). I’m not saying we should’ve kept him but EJ was also McDermott’s first offseason. it was an extraordinarily high number out the door in 12 months. You can nickel and dime the point with Shaq and miller being here but that it’s so few is out of the ordinary

Fair assessment. When he’s coaching ballsy, and the team has some swagger - it’s tough to beat them. lately he’s been real bold with play calls and in game decisions and the teams got a ton of attitude (in the good way). The posing after big plays is getting way over the top (oh a fumble recovery? The whole defense and half the offense runs to the end zone to pose), but it’s right in that sweet spot of playing loose but also intense. The “we are going to bury you and have fun doing it” I think probably next year. He’s too competitive to let brady get all the records and this teams built for likely 1 maybe 2 more very competitive years before having to re-group i think brady will hit a wall first but we will see

McDermott isn't going anywhere....

Eerily similar past parallels? What, that they all drafted QBs at some point? -
All-22 Analysis: Guard Wyatt Teller
NoSaint replied to steven50's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have the 42nd and 61st paid guards for vets, a 5th round rookie, and a 3rd rounder in his 4th scheme.... a bad OL coach. despite losing 2 relatively premiere lineman we still traded away the guy that was likely our best. One might argue we didn’t have THAT much interest in a good line this year. Which is odd given our premium rookie qb. Similar could be said for wr. -

To be fair, we have. Several times. With brown, levitre, Richie- LG has been one of our better positions the last 20 years. Signing a weak free agent and adding a day 3 draft pick (especially when lineman are slow to adapt in new league rules) is not actually trying to find it though. Having Castillo coach the line isn’t particularly inspiring either. -

“Bills leadership can do no wrong because they shipped out so much talent” /jfr -
Gutting the roster of every day 1 or 2 pick they didn’t oersonally make is not the blueprint. To do it that quickly is a major outlier.
-
We cut or traded almost every rookie contract more than 18 months old. We are spending on outside talent
-
Even without the interceptions he was under 4 yards an attempt. That’s not a good rushing day- it’s horrific passing.

Stats for 3 Bills Quartebacks. Need a Quarterbacks coach.

I agree. I just don’t particularly blame him for peterman or Anderson’s stats -

To be fair, I barely blame him at this point. I’m just hoping he’s teaching allen well with the film. The others are bums even with the greatest qb coach ever. -
Why do we never throw the ball down the field?
NoSaint replied to Brianmoorman4jesus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not saying throw 50 bombs a game but man... take a few chances if you are overmatched as badly as we are. -
No but there was a small chunk that wondered about him. The peterman start, the blowouts, etc.... worried some people. Year 4?!? Jesus.

Again, without a run game are short passes doing any good? At least a pick 50 yards downfield is a punt, and a pass interference (or catch!) turns into points at that point. We surely aren’t stringing together 12 play drives, so what’s the harm in taking some shots?
