It’s rare that I’ll say this but I think we see him having fun a lot in the social media videos. I don’t doubt that he is a hard worker but I think he really will need to focus on both his craft and perception of his work this year. come back and be goofy with Josh and the biggest kid of the bunch during Mr brightside after showing off you are out working every single dude at TE university

yea I’m pretty worried on Coleman being Gabe Davis 2.0…. Probably has a few big pop games where with a broken coverage plus a 50-50 ball plus a great Allen throw he’s 140 yards and 3 tds…. But then goes a month without a meaningful passing play and we talk about his great run blocking Separation is going to be hard to create and he’s just blanketed a lot of the time

Gut feeling...how would we have fared against Philly?

I think stopping saquon and their passing attack would’ve been very hard I suspect it would’ve been a close game -
The chatter around the Worthy trade isn't rational

see, I think we had a plan for Samuel that was railroaded either by injury or declining skill. We ended up subbing in shakir and cook and Ty into some of it but not the same as a 4.2 guy -
Josh played like a top tier nfl qb tonight, even if he didn’t play like the greatest in the history of the game

you want a real kick in the pants? worthy is the better version of what we hoped to do with Samuel. he absolutely would fit and schematically likely made a ton of sense. We just never really got to see it because that signing seems to be a flop yup. Either you run past or through a guy. kincaid and Coleman don’t particularly do either currently. We took 2 first round picks and parlayed them into spot on 1000 yards this year. Woof. -

I think a lot of folks let him off on reputation from last year… cause it’s been terribly uneven this year -
can you imagine having a real field stretcher with Josh as a threat to take off if they put the safeties deep? or what that would do for cook?
-
yea in November so he couldn’t fill a role

to be fair a solid TE is paid like WR2/3 for a reason and we already had one that was going to eat up reps and Coleman was the 8th(?) wr off the board imagine if we traded up for Brian Thomas, or even Addison perimeter WRs get paid a fortune for a reason

you know, unless bass shanks another.

in theory that’s why we have rapp and bishop but that don’t work out today

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season
NoSaint replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll continue to echo- two refs on opposite sides see the ball maybe 70% of the time based on positioning and pile one marks the ball as a 2 ft gain, the other a 4 ft gain… wouldn’t the logical mechanism to spot the ball be to use the forward mark knowing neither saw the full motion but one says he did see that amount of gain? -

at some point, this too we can blame the refs but we got handled over and over in the biggest moments that should’ve been easy plays for a Super Bowl team -
we’ve had this conversation many times and somehow here we are again

and dear lord maybe fight for a few firsts on the plays prior to the “and 1s”

a tendency that strong that we’ve heard about for years… it’s bizarre we have no counter punch at all. Go the other way. Change the formation. Bootleg outside even once.

it’s exhausting and I’m sure we will hear all offseason how everyone ate

Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night
NoSaint replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s both Xs and Os and the jimmys and joes… something needed to change on short yardage cook needed more touches in big moments dalton failed us we don’t have any outside threats and in the end everyone eats is fun and games until the defense takes our lunch when we need to make a play -
Dalton Kincaid- why so underwhelming this season?
NoSaint replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean, it wasn’t in stride between the numbers but it’s probably a 90% catch rate. It was a soft lob in his hands without a defender -

It hit him in the hands. his hands were the special trait to draft him round 1
