    he’s contributed and been the spark in a lot of saints games. I wouldn’t pay him what they do but in a particular role he’s been a guy that does light their offense up in a night like this.

    They had RB2, WR3, WR6, TE3 and TE4 as a package on a big play a couple drives ago. hes a really smart coach but sometimes out thinks himself

    punched him, AGAIN. They fought last year too. MT also went ahead and tweeted that insecure men are acting like b******. Which was probably not appreciated.

    and I didn’t even mention injuries - mahomes didn’t play every game last year. No tears shed for the teams that had to play the chiefs full strength

    it’s no different. The schedule isn’t designed to be equal for all. could it be disappointing? Sure. But so is losing a game you didn’t put away on a questionable call, or losing the tie break in a normal season with a tough schedule. it is what it is. You play the games dealt to you.

    Yea just go in knowing it. It is what it is. Without the tension you’ll get to enjoy the football itself in a different way (Even if it’s not the preferred week in and week out method)

    yup. Fair was them following the rules that everyone else is. this isn’t bending slightly or a few chuckleheads... it was full scale organizational defiance that will cost the league money, players money and puts health at risk. it’s going to be a historic consequence.

    he’s certainly going to know the result before the end. Just roll with it and enjoy it for what it is instead of overthinking it.

    to be fair we will know by Sunday I’d think. I don’t think Tuesday morning they’d say never mind it’s Thursday

    Honestly, I have a hard time calling anyone but josh in that scenario... but it’s not a crazy call. Just can’t swing wildly with the highs and lows of its potential outcomes. Enjoy It without calling it genius when it works and don’t kill them when it doesn’t.

    Honestly, I’m not big into punitive measures for positives but totally fine with very stiff penalties for disregarding the rules. Especially after the known breakout started a lone guy forgetting a mask is one thing. An organized activity during a quarantine window counts as a big deal to me.

    there’s nowhere left to move beyond Monday/Tuesday it unless they change the whole leagues structure and even that takes moving other games

    Spitballing names- what about a mid/late rounder for a guy like Ryan Kerrigan? Haven’t watched him much but has a few sacks after a down year. not sure if he’s any better than what we have at this point though

    he doesn’t terribly scare me as a head coach. the interesting layer to his potential departure will be how deeply he raids our cupboard. Would a guy like Dorsey follow him? Or what other position coaches? Mongo or McKenzie? not the end of the world, just wondering out loud how much shuffling may come and if the next candidate is actually internal or not.

    a bit erratic there with not saying what you mean and then reading things that weren’t written.

    I think this loops back to the more accurate early season thread of “why did he run so much” against the jets this is always my least favorite take around winning fan bases. heaven forbid someone thinks the team is imperfect and wants to chat about opportunities. We should all just sit around all week cheerleading everything.
