  1. I guess the games in London aren't bringing the international fanfare Goodell thought it would? Or maybe teams like the Patriots and Steelers need to start playing games over there?
  2. I like it, and am fine with it. We had to choose a course of action and we chose it. I personally, even at the time, didn't understand the hype over Rex Ryan and Greg Roman 2 years ago but of course I was willing to give it a shot because what other choice did I have? I'm fine with the approach we've taken for the time being.

  4. Very sad, my heart and prayers go out to everyone involved especially the family members of those who lost someone from this attack.
  5. I personally would actually like to take a break from the Bills and research Llamas and Alpacas.
  6. Bears vs Jaguars, just so at the off chance that this happens I can look like a genius.
  7. Waiting for the Patriots apologists "Every team has players who have concussions that they didn't report on".
  8. Al Michaels didn't play and I'd take him over any current or old player.
  9. 2008 week 16 we beat Denver in a game they would have clinched the AFC West in. Next week they lost the division to San Diego. Nothing against Denver but that was pretty fun.
  10. It's May, draft is over, months away from preseason, not a ton of football happenings. I guess we gotta have something entertaining to talk about.
  11. Very sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to Berman and you.
  12. Or Manning to Orlovsky. But, given our luck, it will probably be more like, well, Bledsoe to Brady

  14. Yeah, we had info on him, but IMO, that info wasn't good. He was with the Jets for 6 seasons and while they did make the AFC Championship game in his first couple of years they seemed to just regress each year he was there. Also, the lack of discipline and being almost more of a buddy instead of a coach to the players was something I found troubling. As far as the energy, it only seemed to be there when they were winning from what I could see. I will agree about Jackson or Schwartz. I would have loved either one of them.
  15. Can I ask what it is about Rex that, even at the time we hired him, had you believing in him? IMO, Rex had way more red flags than McDermott or any of our recent coaching hires. I honestly wanted to make a post like this when we hired Rex but there seemed to be so much optimism around him (no idea where that optimism came from) that I didn't want to come off as a negative fan. I would say, I'm at a place where, McDermott is our coach, there really weren't any stand out candidates who IMO were clearly better when we were interviewing, so I'm willing to give him a chance. But at the same time I'm not saying I think he's our answer and is clearly the guy to lead us to the promised land. Not sure I understand how attention to detail wouldn't make for a good coach?
  16. Golf gets talked about a lot and I don't understand how that is considered a sport worth talking so much about. I would much rather watch Swimming than Golf. Swimming is incredibly tough to train for.

  18. I'm sure what will upset most people about this is that not a single QB had been taken yet and he still took MW.
  19. Opening the season against the Jets hasn't fared too well for us in recent memory. Hoping this one turns out better. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201209090nyj.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200209080buf.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/199409040buf.htm
  20. Weeks 2 through 5 could be anywhere from brutal to easily winnable. The Panthers, Broncos, and Bengals all had down years last year but could recover this year and the Falcons had a good year last year but was that a fluke or will they be tough again? At KC in week 13, should be interesting. In 2013, 2014, and 2015 we lost mid to late season games to the Chiefs, all three of which we could have and in some cases should have won. In all three cases those could have arguably been the losses that kept us from the playoffs.
  21. I'm thinking if Trubisky really is worth trading up for the 49ers or Bears will take him.
  22. Gut feeling, we open @ Cincinnati.
  23. I love the Bills (football team). But I hate the bills I have to pay (electric, car, Fios, etc)
  24. Being in Maryland I do root for the Ravens when they aren't playing the Bills and I do have a soft spot for the Giants who beat Brady/Belichik in the Superbowl twice. Also, I'll tend to pull for teams who are mostly underdogs like the Browns, Lions, Redskins. As long as my ultimate support is for the Bills I see nothing wrong with any of that.
  25. Way too early forecast: http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/philadelphia-pa/19102/daily-weather-forecast/350540?day=21
