  1. Not only do the injuries concern me but tbh even in the few games he played last year before the injury his performance seemed to slip a little. Would only be a fan if: 1. We pay him literally not a penny more than we would pay a 2nd stringer 2. We are still willing to either groom TT or draft another young QB for the future.
  2. Going to see Dr Strange
  3. My have things changed. When was the last time we saw Oakland as one of the tougher teams on our schedule? I honestly think we can beat the Raiders. They have improved but I'm still not sold on them defensively.
  4. Yes they can, but in the end the team that benefited from the officials' negated play is going to be remembered as the better team. Perfect example is the Steelers and their superbowl win over the Seahawks years ago. The officiating clearly benefited Pittsburgh and if the game was called fair Seattle probably wins. Yet all anyone remembers is how great the Steelers are for winning 6 superbowls.
  5. I've come to accept the fact that part of becoming a good team means being able to overcome poor officiating that goes against you. How exactly? If a team loses 4 games due to poor officiating would you consider them good?
  6. INTs don't need to be returned for touchdowns. If they set up short fields they can make even the best defensive coordinator's job more difficult.
  7. 14 of those points set up by Wentz INTs right off the bat. Also, Schwartz's defense gift-wrapped a shot at a game-winning TD for Wentz at the end and he blew it.
  8. The two Pats losses and the Cowboys loss were all heartbreaking. But the loss to the Browns, while it sucked, wasn't so much heartbreaking to me as it was disappointing. We gave up 29 points to a team led by Brady Quinn. We didn't deserve to win that one.
  9. Does that dude really think his wife is our starting running back today?
  10. Sarcasm? Especially that trade proposal? Gosh I hope so.
  11. I stand by my belief that is we beat Cincinnati in a couple of weeks (which we really can do especially if LeSean is healthy) we are right in the playoff race.
  12. I'm..... dreaming...... of a playoff...... season Just like the ones I used to know
  13. Then what player(s) makes them a Superbowl contender? Defense is solid but not that great. Alex Smith is at best about as good as a journeyman and their top offensive threat has barley seen the field for over a year. Andy Reid is the main reason they are a contender.
  14. Last night was a good night to be named Ezekiel.
  15. Not ready to give up on the season yet. Beat the Bengals in a few weeks (and I really think we stand a good chance to do that) and that should make us one of the wildcard favorites.
  16. I would say those are good reasons to maybe give him a break now and again but to say he gets a full pass for an entire year, no. Especially since I don't think these excuses would be made if our current coach was Jauron, Gailey, Marrone, etc.
  17. I know I'm a little late in answering this but I guess Aaron would have been the least sad death to see. Though I knew they were going to go with someone bigger than him. And yeah, I tried not to follow the spoilers because I wanted to be surprised so I didn't know it had to be someone on Rick's right side. Looks like this is going to be a fun TWD season which is good because if this ends up being another disappointing Bills season it will be nice to have something to look forward to on Sunday nights.
  18. Agree and I feel like if that were Sammy, or in years past Stevie, a lot more people would have been saying that.
  19. I agree it was a cheap shot but I'm glad we didn't retaliate. All it would have most likely done is drawn a penalty on us and if that penalty would have costed us the game then Landry comes out looking like the winner.
  20. Going to bring this thread back again. On a day when Schwartz' defense shuts down and unbeaten team even overcoming his QB giving them short fields twice Rex's defense looks flat out rancid.
  21. Browns up 10-7 on Bengals
  22. Bills Browns and playoff all in the same sentence. That's when you know you are going way back in the archives.
  23. Eugene though I hope it's not him
  24. You know what, I stand corrected, you are right, not sure why I didn't include Brees. In fact, I absolutely agree that he is highly under-appreciated seeing as how he has never had anything more than average receivers to throw to and sub-par to crappy defenses which has forced him to constantly make plays. A lot of people put Ben ahead of him and that's just something I don't agree with seeing as Ben has usually had good receivers to throw to and at one point he had some great defenses. I'll put Brees at #2 on my list and bump everyone else down one.
  25. 1. Tyrod Taylor . . . 10000. Everyone else But seriously, here's mine which would have probably included Wentz a few weeks ago but he's kind of stunk it up the last couple of games: 1. Dak Prescott 2. Matt Ryan 3. Matthew Stafford (not too many QBs lose their star receiver and still do well) 4. Derek Carr 5. Kirk Cousins (May be a reach here I feel like he's a big reason for their winning streak) Brady has been great but hasn't quite played enough games and Ben has also done well but he is loaded with talent around him.
