The standing buffalo is . The. Best. I used to want the all-white uniforms all the time. But I guess its just because I associate that combo with the Standing Buffalo helmet. Recently, the Blue over White has won me over. So I voted for that for home and away (i know, I know). But I dont think the Standing Buffalo would look as good with Blue over White.

Downside of living in the Pacific timezone. The wing place near me doesnt open until 1030 and the game starts at 10. And its too far for me to get there and back during halftime. I HAVE tried. So its either (1) get the wings tonite and warm them tomorrow at 955 am, : ( (2) get the wings tonite, eat them tonite probably, and regret it tomorrow at 955 am, or (3) get a whole pit-roasted barbecued chicken from a spot close enough to me, that has 'em ready by 930 am, along with a bowl of bleu cheese and a bowl of hot sauce for dipping. And zero interlopers. And zero adult beverages, because I prefer to actually remember 2 games per year: Fish and at Fish.

I'd say Outside running and WR screens. Because of that new rule (or new emphasis, or new places on the field for it) about how DBs cannot take on a block by going low. Been predicted that this will lead to more, and more successful, plays to the outside, where OLs can steam-roll DBs, who have nothing they can do except eat it or run away.

I picked first today, in an 8 team ppr league. I agonized between JA17 and a RB. I gambled and took RB McCaffrey, and lucked into JA in round 2 (somebody took mahomes first. Dummass) I also have JA17 in my 12 team league. Took him probably 2 rounds 'too early' (1st round, 9th overall), because some dummass took Mahomes 6th and I was NOT about to eff around. And I'm now locked into enjoying my team all season. Worth it.

McCoy at RB and replace with either Joe Cribbs (shifty) or Travis Henry (super productive and reliable). -i would consider WR Bob Chandler or Jerry Butler (neither made your final cuts, even). Delete Tasker (as WR) or Beebe or Lee Evans. Defense: -I think you nailed DT -I dont think Milano belongs anywhere near any of this at LB, including the final cuts. Rather have Darryl Talley over Fletcher (tackle catcher) -I cant fault your FS/SS much, but I'd try to find a place for Lawyer Milloy. Changed the attitude on D. I am starting to notice JA17's ascent to the top of Mount Olympus. -Sports talk/writers used to say: JA will maybe one day be better than Lamar, and maybe better than Jim Kelly -Last year, it was: JA is probably up there with Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Justin Herbert, etc. -This offseason it has been lots of: Well that guy isnt Josh Allen, but he is blah blah blah. (i heard this again today wrt Fantasy QBs) (I heard it this weekend wrt Trevor Lawrence) (I heard it last week wrt Zack Wilson: 'i know this sounds crazy, but I could see Zack being another Josh Allen.') They now compare other people to JA, singular, not JA plus a group of other QBs. Presumably since JA is now at the top. The new standard. So I voted "Yes." Why hedge on this one?

Agree. And maybe Kumerow is a better blocker. Not of DEs, but of DBs and OLBs he would be called on to block in our offense (no idea here). But surely OBD has studied tape on Kumerow's blocking, in addition to other stuff. Hollister-as-Tight-End might have lined up more in-line and been called upon to block big guys. and plus too, probably Kumerow woulda been snatched up on release. and/or Kumerow and his agent made noises about all the phone calls holding on line 2.

I dont think Trubisky wants a 2 year contract. I think a big selling point was his ability to enter the QB carousel during the next cycle. For the Bills, yes that would be great. But I think there's a very good reason why both sides didnt do that already. au contraire. I'f I'm Trubisky, the NFC Central is my first choice (except a spot with a clear path to starterdom). And the fans would all be rooting for me, to make the Bears look even stupider or something.

Therefore: 1) You wont be able to cut him and sneak him anywhere near your PS 2) Maybe, just maybe, Taiwan has very real trade value. Maybe the wizard brought in Kumerow precisely to unlock Taiwan's trade value in case of roster cutting emergency.

Match-up proof. I like to target 1 or 2 players who I know I will never sit based on that week's matchup. I will usually draft them a round or two earlier than projections, to make sure I get them. I'll be guaranteed 17 weeks of steady production and wont have to comb the waiver wire. Gronk a couple years ago, for example. Bills or Ravens D (my league uses D and also Defensive players).

Yes. I keep waiting for new teams to establish themselves in my mind. Like when I am trying to remember all the teams from memory, the expansion teams tend to slip. I had this same problem with the Seahawks. I still think of them as a normal NFL team now, but they are kind of in my blind spot. On reflection, it might be the uniform choices that expansion teams make. And colors. The Texans got it right. The Ravens hit the bulls-eye, even without the gratuitous use of black so that teenagers would buy lots of jerseys. The Panthers . . . not bad. Seahawks and Jags not at all.
