  1. What a gutsy win by both sides of the ball today! Duke Williams, congrats on ur 1st NFL TD, may you get many more! Now with the bye we can get our guys healed up. We're 4-1 baby!
  2. If Allen was the type of QB to take a 3 step drop & get the ball out on time, people here would be saying how great the Oline is. But because of this past game, where Allen didnt take what the defense was giving him & he held on to the ball too long, people over react a bit & ask if Jordan Mills would be better. No, he wouldnt be. Mills would get pushed back on the 1st step of that drop. Not to say we don't need to improve our oline, but we all knew that going into this season.
  3. We couldve won this game We shouldve won this game If we just played composed, mistake free football, we wouldve won this game. Penalties, turnovers, missed field goal, going for it on 4th & goal & not kicking a field goal. Any one of those can cost you a game vs a team like the Pats, and we did all of that. And our QB1 was knocked out of the game & we lost by 6. We shouldve won this game. It is what it is.
  4. Duke made plays in preseason. Duke makes plays in practice. Duke will make plays on Sundays. Sometimes you need a taller WR who can make the contested catch Just do it.
  5. Try a Chiavetta's martini It actually tastes pretty good the 1st sip, but then you burp & it hits ya
  6. Oliver wasnt hyped up as Aaron Donald, it was said he had Aaron Donald tendencies (could be compared to). Aaron Donald is such a beast & dominant player, that not even Aaron Donald would be compared to Aaron Donald if he were being drafted. Dude is just that good. On a side note, its a good thing we drafted him instead of an offensive guy, bcuz we'd really be screwed right now with Harrison Phillips injured. I like Ed & think he's been solid & cant wait to see what he turns into.
  7. Wade sounds good on 1 level, but bad on another. In such a big game if youre the coach, i don't think you want to bring in a player as raw as him, with zero regular season game experience, to play vs the Patriots in such a huge game. It just doesnt sound like something he'd want to do. But we definitely shouldn't & cant go into this game with just Gore & Yeldon. A strong running game will be key to our success & Gore could get injured, Yeldon could have fumbleitis or we just need that change of pace back that can add some speed & shiftiness back there. I'd be surprised if we don't have Devin or someone else named to play soon.
  8. Yeah while reading the article i got the same sense that Sal knows that too, since he made so many references of snaps & plays, just to give evidence to support his view. Like it was a court case or something. On one hand its good to list the source plays, but on the other, those mean nothing unless u know what Edmunds was supposed to be doing on that play & if u know what to look for while watching film. To me i see Edmunds is still learning & growing into his role. I also see our coach having the confidence in him, to give him so many snaps, every defensive snap so far if Sal is to be believed. If Coach trusts Edmunds enough to do that, he must be doing what he's supposed to imo. And we're 3-0 & we have the best D in the league.
  9. And to think that Sal Maiorana wrote a lengthy piece yesterday stating the exact opposite. That Edmunds has appeared lost & out of place & been invisible out there & on film. Of course it was Sal saying those things
  10. Josh Allen is mos def exciting to watch, but i also think you gotta factor in how starved we've been as fans to see a QB who is at the very least competent. Allen is that & then some. If we had Mahomes here i dont think the excitement would be any less, as a matter of fact it'd probably be greater.
  11. I'm just thankful gone are the days where its our Bills making these types of headlines & we're benching Fitzpatrick for Tyrod & arguing thru 1000's of pages here, which QB gives us the best shot to win. Feels so much better being a Bills fan these days
  12. Well hey, Darnold is out for the next 2 games & the Jets season is pretty much over before it really even began. Karma's a b**tch sometimes. F**k the Jets & Greg 2 g's Williams. I hope next time we play them Josh Allen throws an "errant" 90mph pass to the Jets sideline & it messes up Gregg Williams face. Would probably be an improvement over the Geriatric Gregg Guy Fieri
  13. When we start putting wins down in big chunks our power ranking & national perception of our team will go up as well. In the meantime i wouldnt worry too much about some arbitrary article or ranking. Only ranking that matters at the moment is 1-0
  14. Our pass rush should be able to get to Eli a bunch of times this Sunday. He's a bit stiff in the pocket & if we get pressure on him our DB's will be feasting on him for those INT's. Chalk up another win for NY's ONLY TEAM. Buffalo 2, New Jersey 0
  15. More short term i wonder if the Pats are gonna go ahead with trading Demaryius Thomas to the Jets. With a cloud of uncertainty over AB, do they go ahead with the trade or hold on to Thomas as an insurance policy?
  16. As a Buffalo sports fans i could empathize with the fans in Miami for what theyre going thru. But since its Miami i won't Now if only we could get New England to go thru something like this. That would make me all warm & fuzzy inside!
  17. a friend of mine said he saw Gronk a month or so ago & commented on how skinny & scrawny he looked. From the impression I got from him i'd be highly surprised if he returned. Especially in light of the Pats cap situation after signing AB & the money it'd take to convince Gronk to put his body thru further wear & tear. Do they even have the cap space to make that happen? If there is truth to Gronk wanting to come back, recent retirees often want to come back, but after a week or 2 their body says something else. I suppose anythings possible but i dont see it happening
  18. There was talk from AB's agent that said they'd be open to trading him to New England, but all official news from Pittsburgh was mute on it. All they said was that they would prefer him not to be in the AFC North or the Patriots. It came out later that New England gave them a better offer than the Raiders did, but that they sent him to Oakland so as not to face off against him. Theres tons of articles out there on it where i could post a bunch of links, but i'll just pick this one. https://heavy.com/sports/2019/03/patriots-antonio-brown-trade-offer-raiders/
  19. I hate Brady too but Brady has been successful playing with no name rb's & wr's thruout his career as well. Its one of the more talked about things about that team. His only big name wr was Moss & how the Patriots dont ever have a marquee name at RB, that they insert cheap backs & run by committee. I surely dont see them as loading up on players that nobody else has. This year is an exception with the moves theyve made.
  20. If AB wanted to go to New England the whole time, then it all makes sense. Pittsburgh would never trade AB to the Pats. So he goes along with everything & lands in Oakland & then finds a way to get his contract terminated & ends up on New England in the end. With eyes on a championship & playing a pivotal playoff game vs the Steelers to get there. Not tampering per se but a way to dictate where he wanted to play. Seems plausible imo Dude may be a diva but he's not crazy
  21. everyone saying this wasnt gonna happen in the other threads should apologize for being wrong lol It was too obvious a call to come out so hard against the possibility. All we can hope for now is that he blows up this opportunity, but this sucks for our division
  22. Yeah I agree, Ryan Leaf should just stay quiet. Trying to compare himself & his situation to AB is just laughable. Leaf is only known from how much of a bust he was, his opinion on AB is almost on the same level as one of us lol. Me personally i dont think AB is crazy. He didnt beat up his girlfriend or do anything like that. The feet injury & helmet issues were distractions for sure, but could be rationalized. Just the media jumps all over stories involving players as big as he is. AB mos def doesnt help his situation with how he reacts, especially in todays world. But i wouldnt call him crazy per se.
  23. The Patriots are the only team that really makes sense for him. It'd be his best chance at winning a Superbowl. All people care about is if you win & if he won a superbowl he could in his mind prove all the doubters wrong, especially after this fiasco. Yeah money isnt gonna be as good as it was in Oakland, but he has tons of money already & will get more regardless. I really hope it doesnt happen but it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest.
