  1. Scheme before talent. Despite the fact that many defenses are running a combination man and zone at the same time.. they put the scheme over talent which to me is a bellwether of a coaching staff that has has been passed by and doesn't adapt well anymore.
  2. There can be no 'loyalty'. Dorsey regressed everything about this offense in just the way I thought he would. He's too aggressive and we saw after the first Miami game too emotionally immature. Unfortunately, he's the exact worst fit for Allen and accentuates Allen's worst tendencies. Reich would be a good fit as he's a QB friendly guy that is much more of a 'move the ball then take a shot' compared to Dorsey's 'take a shot to setup taking another shot' offense.
  3. If Allen would stick with it and not get antsy to take a shot... he's be the best QB in the league. The deep shots are killing this team. They seem to outright refuse to throw a pass less than ten yards at times.
  4. McDermott talks about complimentary football and the offense they ran today was the exact opposite of that.
  5. They need to get some routes where he's throwing it quicker to take some heat off. This offense is too easy to defend and relies wholly on Josh doing something crazy. They also need another year like 2020 where they put in a LOT of offseason work with the QB/WRs so they learn to catch his passes which everyone says are harder than most QBs. There's blame on both sides for drops even if the ball looks catchable. It's insane that they have gone the whole year without someone being like, "we should figure out how to run a screen or quick slant"
  6. Media needs to ask why the hell they kept throwing bomb after bomb when it wasn't working
  7. Someone needs to ask McDermott why they keep trying bomb after bomb.. didn't he have words with Daboll about it last year and that was when the offense started to stabilize?
  8. handoff to cook up the middle.. so far we're on track..
  9. Dorsey calls a bomb that gets picked sounds about right
  10. They shouldn't be even if they manage to win
  11. Another deep attempt turns into a 1 yard scramble.. just brilliant
  12. On a crucial play his defense couldn't get set and you're arguing that it's a good thing in hindsight?
  13. Fire McDermott now
  14. Payton or Harbaugh if they lose this one. Inexcusable.
  15. Was Dorsey paid off to lose? WTF
  16. It's been like this for 2-3 years now. If they knew how to fix it.. they would have done so
  17. hey.. look you take a couple checkdowns and run the ball when it's not completely obvious you're gonna run and look what happens..
  18. a pass thrown less than 10 yards? Did Dorsey have a heart attack and someone else called the play?
  19. Go get Frank Reich for OC
  20. So damn predictable
  21. This is supposed to be a lovable team. I have my doubts. Who is playing above their level? Who is outworking their opponent? Who's coming up big when they need it? Drops. Bad decisions. Constant attempts at Hero Ball.
  22. Daboll was able to manage Allen's emotions. Dorsey is just like Josh in that he can't manage his own emotions. They need someone to rein them in. Run the ball. Keep running. they get like 1 successful run and think that has opened the defense up enough to take shots.
  23. This has been a thing the entire season.. why would it happen now?
