I don't care. This team finally did it to me. They should have been much better, but the arrogance surrounding this staff and lack of any sort of true introspective insight has finally accomplished what the longest playoff drought couldn't.. I just don't care. I'll watch some games next year. If they win, that will be nice, but I I won't be following the offseason and training camps daily. I have other things that come up on Sundays that seem like time better spent. If they're not going to put in the effort to take advantage of the unique opportunity they had then I'll put my effort elsewhere. There's no coach out there right now that could come in and instantly fix this like a Pederson.

Hope to see a 2020 type offseason from Josh.

The zero experience calling plays isn't as bad as guy who who is ultra aggressive and can't handle his emotions.. he doesn't make rational decisions. He makes emotional playcalls on wanting to bury the other team and they suck because of it, but he can't stop himself.

It would be nice, but they'll just start throwing quick out and we play our DBs ten yards back so they'll 4-5 yards gains down the field (and that is IF the defense makes the tackles)

They've generally been much better in 2nd halfs this year (despite a stretch of god awful 3rd quarters). They are bad at 'in-game' adjustments. I'm not saying I have faith they'll do anything in this particular game, but they have been successful at it.

McDermott makes coaching decisions like this is 2017 and he has a good defense and Tyrod Taylor at QB

Even if they somehow squeak this out.. short of a miracle next week.. this coaching staff has face a stern evaluation

I'd say that 'loading up' includes o-line and ensuring you're playing a scheme you have the players to run.

The NFL rulebook is dumb and overly complicated.. but I've seen that called that way at other times during the season (also seen it not called that way). They need to remove like 70% of the rules around a catch and make it something along the line if both feet are in when the player touches the ball and ends up with the ball in his hands without it touching the ground then it's a catch. They really need to stop trying to define it to such a ridiculous degree.

Remember Zach Wilson and Skylar Thompson both shredded this defense.

If your scheme can only work when you have 4 dominant defensive lineman who can get pressure and stop the run without help... what is the point of having a 'defensive mastermind' at HC?

Why Frazier has to be drug kicking and screaming to adjustments when he's clearly able to make them I don't know. He and McDermott seem to want 'be patient' to make sure their current strategy is getting slaughtered. Bengals will adjust again and Bills will be slow to adjust again.

Regardless if it's fair or not.. Allen has to perform at a high level all the time. The overall team is not as good as it's reputation.
