  1. Come back after the bye week and get him in there ASAP to get reps and see what we have. ALSO trade for a CB. We don’t have time for questions in the secondary this year. Even Bendord has looked shaky.
  2. Teams in this situation would always go with the hot hand, who is clearly Prater. That said, I don’t trust McD here. I’m hoping him saying Bass will be back when ready means he won’t “be ready” this year. Keep him in IR as another poster said to fully heal and have a TC competition.
  3. If we blow a playoff game because of the D, scape goat will be Babich and not MCnoD.
  4. I hope you are right. I hate NE.
  5. would love to know what the prorated part of Hendrickson’s deal is. The article just left that out when discussing him. I’d trade a 2nd for him. In another spot in the article they mention Hendrickson being on a 1 year deal so it looks like he can be traded for a cap hit of the prorated amount left this year (but article leaves that amount out). I got the names for other positions (Simmons for example) from other players being traded in this article
  6. I agree with this. But, it begs the question of whether you want to be drafting a raw player when you are in a win-now position. I'm not sure there is a right answer, perhaps Jackson turns it on late in the season or next year an helps us win multiple SBs.
  7. https://www.si.com/nfl/one-trade-every-nfl-team-should-make-before-the-2025-deadline Interesting article. On the Bills front, this article would have us acquiring CB Alontae Taylor from the Saints for a 4th, and WR Jakobi Meyers from Vegas for a 4th (although it also has Meyers goign to Arizona for a 4th). It has us trading Dawson Knox to, of all places, Carolina for a 5th. I know nothing about Taylor, but we need CB help, and Meyers would add some boundry juice to the WR room. Don't like losing Knox, but if it clears cap space that's fine. Otherwise I see little reason for the move. Thoughts? Other players on the move in this article I'd like to see the Bills go after include: --DT Simmons; DE Hendrickson; and RB Kamara or Pollard. I think we need to strengthen the interior DL, add a CB, and a backup RB at the deadline. WR would be nice, but as we are scroing 30+ a game, not sure how necessary at this juncture.
  8. Ravens backup QB is legit. He's capable of being a game manager. Lamar is amazing, but their team has many more parts than just him.
  9. I can see us trading for a RB 2 at the trade deadline. Davis has massively regressed and we need someone to take milage off Cook and be injury insurance.
  10. Good question, but pretty much looks like the playoff McD defenses every year.
  11. Benford is a major disappointment so far.
  12. the signals are out in the open during the game, so they are fair game. You also have a headset to communicate with a player on O and D.
  13. Fair point. But sometimes a change of seventy benefits both. So far the trade has worked for both, but the Rams have the trophy.
  14. While this is encouraging, it also seems like fluff given the year over year 3rd down struggles. If this continues I’d expect a vet DT to be added at some point. Perhaps a LB as well.
  15. I’d like to see him after the bye at the latest. He needs to get up to speed quickly because an injury (or performance) could push him to starting playoff games.
  16. Good point. Rams have a SB win recently though. The Ravens have continually floundered. I’d have Philly at 1, KC 2, Rams could be 3, us 4. Ravens have a coaching issue, IMO.
  17. do it. instant upgrade to the secondary.
  18. who dosen't want 0. not that it's obtainable, but that should be the goal I supposse. Fix your weakest link, even if it's not really "weak".
  19. The OL has been amazing.
  20. I totally agree he won't be vieed that way outside of Bills fans without rings. But he's still the best to ever play, IMO. Allen on those NE teams, or the KC teams, etc and he has the rings. Allen's combo of athletic ability, intelligence and accurracy is untouchable.
  21. how is KC not #2? In no universe should the Bills be ahead of them. I'm not saying we aren't 4, but this is weird. Unless the author (perhaps correctly) believes the Bills have been a better team, but not capatilized on it in January.
  22. Joey Bosa after he continues to play for the Bills, and wins a SB here this year, resigns, and repeats as a key part of a SB winning D next year. Yeah, I think he warrents 2nd or 3rd ballot. Plus, he runs decent routes with his speed also, as we saw Thursday.
  23. I'm convinced Allen is the best QB ever, period. No one has had his combination of running, passing skills combined with the lack of a blue-chip WR. It's unreal. If the D gets its act together we could win 2-3 SBs in the Allen era.
  24. here is a decently in-depth mock draft with writeups on some players and why the author picked them where he did. Not crazy about another Rd. 1 CB, but eh, some other names proposed in here ended up in Rd. 1. On another note, I wonder if the Clemson DL guys start falling if they keep getting knocked around. https://athlonsports.com/nfl/2026-nfl-mock-draft-updated-dante-moore-fernando-mendoza-garrett-nussmeier-lanorris-sellers-arch-manning-cade-klubnik-drew-allar
  25. I'd like a safety in Rd. 1, trade up if a potential day 1 starter at LB/WR/CB falls to Rd. 2. also, number 32 could be a spot to get a great backup for Cook, unless Davis turns it on. He appears to have regressed signifigantly.
