He is also a total STEAL here. I voted for him also. A top 5 OT this late in the draft. He can start instantly, esp. on our line. Looks like OL is winning, just too many choices no fears. Ragnow will play Guard. He can do that.

this. avoid a Carr situation. Get the QB you think is the guy. Draft OT Crosby and C/G Ragnow in the 2nd/3rd.

Did we overpay: Yes. From any regular analysis. That said: McD and Bean know him. Perhaps he was a poor fit in Carolina for whatever reason. Perhaps having Williams and whomever they draft will "free" him up. He no longer needs to be "the" DT.

we also have Bodine, who I think gave up very few sacks/pressures last year. We are okay on the interior. Crosby is a day 1 starter and like you said, a huge upgrade over Mills. Although I just saw that Richie is threatening retirement. In which case, the pick here has to be Ragnow, a C/G. Day 1 starter also. Although, if Gory or Bodine can play G, perhaps you go Crosby due to the tremendous value of finding a starting OT this late in the draft. Crosby could also replace Richie. I've confused myself now.

Crosby. Ragnow is a great player, but a chance at a top 5 OT this late in the draft can't be passed up. Interior lineman are easier to find, IMO. Crosby can be an instant starter.

Read somewhere today (NFL.com) that his "inconsistency" drives some coaches crazy. Still, given what we have, not sure why we didn't keep him. Perhaps plan is to draft a guy and/or "hope" Zay is ready.

Injury history plus I think the plan is likely to use Vonte Davis--who is an upgrade if healthy, as well as draft a CB in Rd. 1 or 2 to replace Davis next year. Have a shutdown corner pair.

oh yeah, forgot about that also. I envision some sort of Andrew Luck scenario w/ him. On the other hand, I envision a 15 year+ franchise QB.

Only worry about Rosen for me is the concussion history. QB's in preference: Mayfield, Rosen, Kyle L. I think these guy are most day 1 ready.

I think Bodine will be a steal, esp. with AJ. And I wouldn't rule out drafting C/G Ragnow or the guy from Bama.

Landry. We have the DT's this year. Need a better pass rush. Landry is a steal here, IMO.

same here! But I can't see the Raiders passing him up. Pairing him and Mack will give them a good D to chase after San Fran, etc. And I think Gruden will love it. I want him at 12 also, but i can't see the Raiders passing on him.

any agent who does not tell a draft prospect to get insurance is committing malpractice, IMO.

Vea. Yes, we have Williams and an overrated Star next year. But after that, a guy like Vea does not come along very often.
