  1. the author of that article is an egotistical a-hole. (I live in Pit, he is unbearable). Yeah, the Bills looked really disheveled in the preseason.
  2. agree I don’t care about gambling. but ads on jerseys can be/are an eyesore.
  3. this is awesome, but what does it mean? Can you bet regardless of the state you are in, only in-stadium, etc?
  4. I think we have to: (1) look at where we are thin at important positions. We are "thin" at CB (depth); (while we are also thin at TE, I don't think that's as big of an issue given our WR talent) and (2) look at where we are deep (DE). I think we try to trade a DE for a CB, and/or pickup a CB by shedding some DE talent. The obvious choice to shed is Addison due to his contract, but I'm not sure what CB is out there. (we could also shed for an OT--thin, or a DT).
  5. I think between average WR’s it’s better to have someone the starter is familiar with, hence the WY players?
  6. yeah, for that reason I would need a 1st, and I don’t think any team would do that.
  7. do you let them know you have a medical condition? I'm sure most would be accommodating of that. But I'd bet the vast majority of the "sit down" folks don't.
  8. this. will be close. depends on your risk tolerance. I drive up and back from PIT on gamedays and parking further from the stadium helps avoid traffic, but sometimes things go wrong with traffic.
  9. That is an interesting point I had not considered. That said, there are specific areas/seats for folks with medical conditions. I love @teef one of the problems of typing rather than talking is you can’t see expressions, tone, etc.
  10. I think key individuals plus legendary career. Eli is too much two huge flash in the pans to an otherwise average career.
  11. might go OT here. Trent Williams, Stanley, the Green Bay OT. on defense whatever helps the pass rush. DT A. Williams. also, surprised no one said K. Mack yet??
  12. wow, over the top reaction there. First, I’m far from a meathead. Second, I never said stay home, I said I wouldn’t pay to go to a game just to hang out and not be totally into it. It’s actually the people who go to a game and continue to yell “sit down” and basically act like they are at the opera who are annoying (no, I’m not saying that’s you and I highly doubt it is).
  13. what’s wrong with slapping the seats and making noise. if you don’t like the 12th man aspect that’s cool but I’d just stay home.
  14. concerning if Oliver is blah and Basham looks unready and out of shape. We can’t keep missing on high DL picks. Hopefully we hit on Greg, but Oliver plays like a 2nd-3rd pick so far.
  15. Steve Smith. perhaps Wilfork. Agree on Smith. He was also a tough guy and good blocker I believe.
  16. not high enough. PFF still sucks.
  17. not a great decision. more money than Mahomes, who has won a SB. WTF. kidding. got some of you. This is a great deal. Not sure how it breaks down year by year, but it's totally in-line with how QB contracts go, and waiting would have only make it more. It looks like we will be able to hang on to other high-priced players (assuming we have any. We could if Edmunds finally catches on, Diggs contract, Gabe (WR), Groot, etc.)
  18. thanks. Great insight and answers why I don’t see more in the US. In terms of wheat I also like Bells. Will have to try Three Floyd’s. I also like Troges Dreamweaver.
  19. Thoughts on Franziskaner or another good Hefeweizen?
  20. 100 percent agree it should be a dome. I don’t see people shelling out for a PSL at a new outdoor stadium. If it’s a dome that would be a different story.
  21. i can’t believe we never made the playoffs with a Bledsoe team. He was good his first year. Also Fitzpatrick teams. But I think their respective consistent inconsistency got them both in the end. only perhaps netter than post injury Edwards. man, how bad was our D in 2002 to miss the playoffs.
