  1. I get the Dupree love, but I have MAJOR concerns. The guy was a non-factor until contract years. His best years coincide with Watt playing lights-out for the Steelers D, he also benefits from Hayward. I'd pass on Dupree and the money he'd get and go after many other players (Lawson from Cincy)
  2. I think "over performing" means over performing relative to talent. I totally agree that Edmunds (2nd year of regression), Hyde, Moss, and Knox underperformed. Our offense was basically Allen, Beasley, Diggs, and good OL pass (but horrid run) blocking. We have a LOT of talent upgrades to be made on offense to compete with KC and Tampa, IMO. On Defense, we do seem okay in the secondary, although we need someone who can cover a TE, as well as rush the freaking passer and stop the run. We are average in the front 7, and that just won't get it done. Bean knows this. He knew our WR's were horrid, he fixed that. He'll fix the DL. Tried last year, but we need more than one 1T on the D. And we need LB's that know how to diagnose plays.
  3. I think we def need interior help. Even if Star comes back, you've gotta question the guys passion (he took the year off because he'd get paid anyway), and what shape will he be in? That said, I agree we should focus FA on Edge. I think the draft is decently deep in space eating 1T. Ideally, I'd grab a 1T in FA and the draft.
  4. we still need an Edge in FA. Too risky to draft one, and can't count on AJ being the guy. Carl Lawson is currently at the top of my list, then a 2nd group including: Shaq Barrett, Takkarist McKinley Shelby Harris, Justin Houston, Hendrickson, Clowney, Leonard Floyd, and Melvin Ingram, and a 3rd group of: Denico Autry, Aldon Smith, and Romeo Okwara. Who do you all like?
  5. Couldn’t we trade Brown for a 4th or 5. I know he has a big cap hit, but there is likely some market for a late pick. as long as bargain hunting is not like the DL last year!
  6. Yeah, but that’s a get to the SB and lose charm. Buuuuurn just make sure to give him the damm ball at the goalie in the Sb. Freaking Pete Carroll.
  7. Would love him on the Bills. But if we shed money to create cap space, would rather spend it on an Edge. McKenzie should be cheapish to keep, and some speedy WR’s project in the 4-6 round range. btw, I think we trade out of 30 into 2nd and get a 4th round pick. Stills was a baller at MIA and fell off a cliff o something.
  8. Would love to see Sunday Ticket just as a stand alone streaming all like MLB or NHL offer but with in network availability also.
  9. Star is overpaid. That's why it was a bad signing. It limits the cap elsewhere. Could have drafted similar production or gotten it at much less, even paid Star much less. Ideal (unrealistic) situation is to trade Star and his contract, get Tomlinson and a rookie.
  10. I think he ends up on the Jets. He's been wanting (well, his wife) has wanted to be in NYC. I hope he goes there and sucks (nothing against him, just the Jets)! THAT'S wild. Although, don't they make the Jerseys for a few people? They suddenly have them after the pick is announced?
  11. Watson > Wilson. He is younger and more talented.
  12. yes. so he can get 3 rings in a row!!!
  13. this is the problem i have with it. seems very unrealistic. your first 3 picks are money, but likely none (perhaps Cox) make it to the 3rd. after watching KC in the Super Bowl, I’m down for OL at 30.
  14. why was he not played more? maddening.
  15. I think we could really benefit from Watt. He'd be a difference maker. On the other hand, I'm fine with Sherman, but he's a depth piece. He may (I would be on it even) get beat out by Jackson for CB2.
  16. We'd have a fun team now if we hit on some of these, but then again, so would others. Julio and Adams at WR. But then we don't have Diggs. And if we get Dalton, do we have Allen? But perhaps Dalton not on a mediocrely coached team performs better in his prime?
  17. Sherman only played 5 games this year, so not a huge sample size. Prior to that, very productive. Here is a recap from a new source on TBD main page: "Richard Sherman (33), CB, 49ers Sherman played in just five games last season but is just a year removed from being a key piece for a 49ers defense that reached the Super Bowl. If he joined the Bills he’d be asked to be the team’s no. 2 cornerback next to White. Sherman led the NFL for cornerbacks with 25.3 coverage snaps per reception in 2020."
  18. I would trade this year and next years 1st for him. He's that good. Also, we are likely to be picking at 32 next year if we get him this year.
  19. Sherman is def a Bill this offseason. I was like, "blah, he's washed up," but he seems to thrive in zone concepts and would be a good CB 2, and if he can't do it, then someone please play Jackson, who was very very good in limited playing time.
  20. not a fan of two coaches at the same position. oddly (exception being KC game) we generally had good pass protection but horrid run blocking, and we lacked explosive RB's. I'd say get better run blockers and more explosive RB's. not totally opposed, but seems like too many coaches.
  21. Here is today's with my thoughts--mostly based on analysts reports I've read. Give me yours! 30. Buffalo Bills Jalen Mayfield OT, Michigan (this is becoming my fav pick for Buffalo at 30 if he is available. He can play tackle or guard, and is good against the run and pass. He is insurance against Ford never getting it, and if everyone pans out, there are MUCH worse things than OL depth, just ask KC! (I know we need an Edge, but those are not going to be impactful ones at 30, IMO.). Note, RB Harris was gone or he would have been the pick here. 61. Buffalo Bills Dylan Moses LB, Alabama (do it all MLB, kick Edmunds to outside. I believe he can cover TE's. Physical presence that we need at LB). 93. Buffalo Bills Tyler Shelvin IDL, LSU (yes, here is our 1T. This does several things. Helps solve the run D issues, clears our LB's, and unleashes Oliver and our DE's). 162. Buffalo Bills Rashad Weaver EDGE, Pittsburgh (I think this guy projects mostly as a Shaq Lawson type, with some more sack upside. Not bad for a pick this low). 175. Buffalo Bills Deommodore Lenoir CB, Oregon (guy can play multiple roles in the backfield. I like it. Seems to be able to press, and play well in the zone, which annoyingly to me Frazier likes) 214. Buffalo Bills Jaelon Darden WR, North Texas (according to reports he is speedy, and is a great kick returner. Good guy to pair with McKenzie) 230. Buffalo Bills Quintin Morris TE, Bowling Green (TE who can block and catch. Seems like he develops into a solid TE2).
  22. Hey YOLO, would you take Browning from Ohio State, or Moses from Alabama, Cox from LSU, or Surratt from UNC? You clearly watch more college football than I do (I'm a Cuse and Pitt fan, so um, after week 3 it's usually pointless, haha). Had all 3 available to me in my mock in the 2nd. (see below). Just went off analysist reports. But Browning in the 3rd is a no brainer, IMO.
  23. 30. Buffalo Bills Jaelan Phillips EDGE, Miami (really wanted an OT here, perhaps should have taken Clemson RB. Other option was LB Collins, but he seems like a one year wonder to me in a weak conference? I could be totally wrong). 61. Buffalo Bills Trevon Moehrig S, TCU (no way he is available at 61. If he is, he has to be the pick, despite not being a position of clear need). 93. Buffalo Bills Tyler Shelvin IDL, LSU (great 1T DT). 162. Buffalo Bills Chris Evans RB, Michigan (from what I've read, this is a guy who could be a top 3 RB in the draft but had off-field issues. Seems like a good place for that gamble). 175. Buffalo Bills Deommodore Lenoir CB, Oregon (guy has played slot and periminiter CB). 214. Buffalo Bills Ihmir Smith-Marsette WR, Iowa (many feel he will be the "steal of the draft." Let's steal him. He can stretch the field. 230. Buffalo Bills Quintin Morris TE, Bowling Green (Lee Smith or Sweeny Replacement with much more catching upside.)
