  1. I like Greenberg but when i heard him say that i involuntarily said fung you !
  2. ONLY to keep the defense honest. They tried to run last KC game and it failed. Unleash the arm of allen and all will be well...................
  3. thanks.... i like that guy :) the bills will get their due....
  4. the grass isn't always greener my bills fan friend. franchise players do not grow on trees and neither do franchise general managers or coaches. they are rare birds indeed. we are fortunate to not need the excitement and hope that comes from rebuilding. we are in a much better place. rest your excitement on the things that this team has yet to achieve.
  5. he almost fainted and had a far away look in his eyes. if that was our QB i would be worried....
  6. Bass needs to get a pouch full of grass clippings.....
  7. The Bills just beat the Ravens #2 defense for points against / #7 for yards against, #5 for passing TDs against and they proved their numbers. It was tough and gritty but a complete team effort. The possible remaining defenses- Team Rank points against yards against passing TDs against ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ KC 10 16 20 CLEV 21 17 25 I like the idea that the offense was battle tested in this game. They faced tough resistance. The outlook looks bright for the next one !
  8. he sure has turned into one..... makes me feel confident that there won't be much effect if / when our assistants leave.
  9. almost- he fell short of flailing on the turf crying in agony...:)
  10. go play some more x box. this game was awesome !
  11. and look what happened to them..... they are the rule and not the exception. i did a deep dive on this years ago when the Bills hired Ryan and the odds are really low that they will become successful.
  12. It can happen, yes. Understanding the circumstances in Minnesota - roster talent, GM, etc. that may not have been his fault would be something to consider. For me I have a problem giving a successful head coach a second chance much less a failed one. In other words there needs to be a good story, a believable well constructed plan to consider. I am not sure I would have hired Mike McCarthy at Dallas for example. But as you mention, the odds are not that good no matter where they come from !
  13. It isn't unreal at all. Frazier was and is a very good DC. He had a run as a head coach and failed, landed on his feet as DC. Smart teams realize that very few succeed on their second chance.
  14. Very few assistant coaches have succeeded when given a second shot at a head coaching position.
  15. this is interesting and hopeful ! regardless the Bills are in the top 4 and are capable of winning this and every game. it passes the eye test IMHO. They all have chinks in their armor.
  16. Great question! The situation reminds me of the bad Bills of not too long ago where Nickel Roby-C, Ron Darby and Corey Graham tried to cover the likes of Gronk, Travis Kelce and Tyler Eifert. Bad memories man! This is why big fast TEs are an effective weapon and one I hope the Bills fortify ASAP. It just ain't that easy, even if they are covered they tend to catch the ball.
  17. i wish it wasn't. have you ever been part of an organization where you were in the middle of a big project and one of the leadership gave notice?
  18. Teams have been affected by this during playoff runs. Football is an emotional team sport. While they like to all be professional about this the fact is Daboll is considered to be a lame duck by the entire organization, right or wrong. He is leaving. He will be affected somewhat. The players will be affected somewhat. How much and how it affects the team and their performance is probably minimal but still remains to be seen. It is a factor in any organization and especially emotional team sports. I believe they can still perform at a high level but everything counts.
  19. I do not like this interviewing of coaches info happening during the playoffs. It is a distraction and affects the team. I know teams like to get the jump on things right after the regular season but it does affect the teams in the playoffs.
  20. the colts beat the packers..... this team is capable of beating any other team.
  21. It would have been another heart break for the ages. Those are the old Bills now. Time to move forward.
  22. Credit to B. Beane on the Bass pick. When so many teams get their kickers at garage sales and flee marts the Bills used a 6th round pick for Bass and raised some eyebrows. Super smart move by the Bills to pick him- extra extra credit because he is living up to expectations.
