  1. New England is on to Buffalo (home game).
  2. I agree with him that continuous holding or any other penalty is difficult to watch. But the officials can't ignore them if they are valid calls. If they are expanding the strike zone, then that is another issue. If the officials follow the rule equally for all teams then the Patriots will not have any kind of advantage.
  3. better than trent green. but not by much.
  4. take note- his completion percentage was 64.8% definitely a big improvement from last season. i think his performance this game will not be typical and he and the offense will get much better.
  5. the offense is rough around the edges but the potential is there.
  6. nicely done and much appreciated. 50% of the players on the roster drafted by the Bills bodes well for this team and clearly launches them out of the whaley era. under whaley the Bills had the fewest home grown players on the roster of any team in the league- hovering around 30% or so. perennial playoff teams typically have ~ 60% home grown players so the 50% number is very encouraging. !!!
  7. things seem positive for JA but Preseason is not a good measuring stick. as they said on WBEN this morning Nate Peterman looked like a franchise QB in preseason.
  8. Thanks everyone. Glad to hear MM's 100%. How YOU doin'
  9. Not hearing very much about Matt from camp reports and wonder how he is doing coming off of last season's ankle injury. Thanks in advance.
  10. two things 1. BM has the perfect initials. 2. I am so happy he is not a Bill.
  11. Agreed but I still don't care much for "BM" s attitude and not just this quote either.
  12. both were critical- one couldn't do it without the other. brady is the greatest QB of all time but belichick managed the rest- including schemes, game plan but especially keeping a competitive roster together despite winning records year after year. brady could not have sustained a dynasty without belichick but belichick could not either- but could have had a better chance. brady is a highly skilled disciplied athelete but belichick is a mastermind of all phases and aspects of football.
  13. yes. the team's depth has improved.
  14. Chicago fans are very informed about the rest of the NFL especially the fantasy players of which there are many. There are also few notable Chicago-Buffalo connections- namely Marv Levy (Chicago resident), Greg Gabriel (Buffalo native, Canisius College Alum, longtime Bears Scout, Chicago area sports radio personality and now personnel director of the Washington team of the XFL).
  15. JK was as good a passer as any of them and a better leader than all of them. Where he fell short was game management- he was just a little stubborn and would try to force things by sheer will power when he should not have against the better defenses. No better example than Super Bowl XXV. As far as ranking in the list - definitely top 10.
  16. The blowout losses are my no. 1 worry bead about the McD era- they are somewhat alarming so he makes a fair point. I just see too much potential- the defense could wind up being scary good and if the offense takes another step- they won't be miles away from anything....
  17. and a legit TE and a runner with good hands.
  18. Agreed. Very slim class at WR this year. It is still a need position for the Bills but I'm still glad they drafted the way they did.
  19. wal-mart worthy, yeah.
