  1. Definitely different situations. The Bills should have had the TD in the Texans game, it was the Texans player's error. In the Bengal / Raiders game it was the Ref's error. The Raider's defender let up after he heard the whistle. Should have been replayed.
  2. Two wrongs do not make it right.
  3. How about signs that say "LETS GO" Patriots, GET IT?"
  4. Here it is- wait for it................................. GLOBAL SWARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Not funny and a disgrace to our fans and team. Boo the crap out of the other team but throwing anything at them is just plain low life.
  6. whaaaaaaa? is you nutz? get the...
  7. don't see it but anything is possible. the bears are in the market for a coach to develop their rookie QB justin fields. a smart organization would look at the record of all rebound head coaches, those that went from coordinator to head coach and back to coordinator. the record of coaches getting another shot is not good. then again the bears are not a very football smart organization.
  8. Why 5 teams in 9 years?
  9. Coach poaching is yet another thing to deal with during a playoff run. It affects the coaches, their focus and the team dynamic and no doubt needs to be dealt with effectively or it will become a distraction. McD did an excellent job proclaiming that he is happy for them and welcomes greater success. The NFL should disallow in-season coach poaching.
  10. Fangio is awesome. The Bears defense was never the same when he left for Denver- and it was extremely impressive with him.
  11. While not a perfect stat (which one is?) it has meaning and is one of my favorites to track over the years. The better receivers typically have a better catch percentage but you do have to understand their roles. This is among WRs who run routes and is an indication of their catching ability and their ability to run the route as called. I can see your point if we are adding receiving RBs to the mix because their percentage is typically higher as you have mentioned. I also did not include TEs either.
  12. Catch percentage for all Bills WRs. Isiah McKenzie leads the Bills WRs with a catch percentage of 78.3% for 2021 season. Next is Cole Beasley with a 75.2% catch rate. League wide he would be tied for 3rd place Kendrick Bourne. Only Rondale Moore and Hunter Renfrow have better catch percentages. Hopefully he will see more playing time.
  13. hope so. most of the cases are Omicron variant which has cold like symptoms so far. bad news it spreads like wildfire. the teams that can avoid infection will have an advantage the rest of the way.
  14. get to 4 superbowls or win one and get back to me.....
  15. politics aside, does anyone have any links to the latest stadium renderings ?
  16. Suggesting a thread for creative offensive play calls. One that has me intrigued is to disguise a pass play by having two down backs and QB under center. The defense thinks "run" and will likely stuff the box. In the play the QB play actions to the right back but he continues to drop back and each runner remains back to block. The two wideouts streak long but the key receiver is the TE who just needs to beat an LB to reach level 2. The options from this formation would be for one of the backs to flare out as an additional receiver or to target one of the wideouts if they are in man coverage. Nothing new but I never see the Bills try to sell a run with two down backs.
  17. The Bills have had legitimate chances to win each of their last critical games vs. the Patriots and Bucs. Red zone issues continued to be a big reason why they lost. Since the Bills lack a true power running game this adds to the problem. The traditional 20 yard red zone seems too "compressed" for the passing game because of a lack or field space to spread out and get open. The defense will typically rush 4 unless it's third down. Rushing 4 lineman leaves too many defenders against the pass in the defensive back field- very clogged with defensive bodies per square yard. An alternate idea would be for the team to expand the red zone (mentally) by 10 to 20 yards. Once past the opponents 40 yard line could be considered the red zone. At that point each play should target the end zone. The additional 20 yards of vertical space would allow for a much more open playing field for the receivers.

  18. not currently in the conversation. we had many legit offensive chances to win vs. Tenn, Tampa and New England. two out of three and he is the frontrunner. there is time for this to change and I am hoping it does. it can, we all know he can do it.
  19. what jags. as far as motivation i just hope they play smart and focused and not let garbage like thus distract them.
  20. unfortunately it was broken as usual- blown calls, covid issues, bad rescheduling, etc.
  21. I would love to see it but the phins would have to beat tenn and new england.
  22. Not bad but not in the top tier, especially when he said "let the chips fall where they may".
  23. Please. The Bills finally have a franchise coach and are off of the perennial coaching / GM merry-go-round. They have the keys and deservedly so. Give them time and the championship(s) will come. Look at the Bears for example, on the verge of another re-boot. Good luck.
  24. Unfortunately they do not grow on trees and the ones we end up with could be worse ! The D-Line needs a couple Ted Washington style run stuffers!
