  1. Rob Reiner [original meathead] director of The Princess Bride, is FAR funnier than most NFL S&C coaches.
  2. In this game. I think Daboll goes for an early punch in the face TD, Healthy D does their job, and then he gets the cold weather running game established.
  3. I agree, the RB's have relatively low mileage on them this season. Josh however, who is also a dangerous rb, has only missed 8 snaps. I also think that if his injured arm holds up, Milano has fresher legs now than he usually does this late in the season, his game is based on speed.
  4. Smart move by coach McD - Need Brown for the playoffs, don't need to have altitude impair his recovery with the trait.
  5. Still think we need to upgrade at Center, My eyes tell me we are better when Feliciano is at center. Perhaps draft a stud guard in Round 2.
  6. When a fully healthy Milano plays most of the game, we are a better team. Up to McBeane to determine if he is built for the long term and a big contract. Know we let Poz go back a few years ago.
  7. On that drive, I have the feeling that Josh could have thrown a dart to Diggs or Beasley for 7, but played the long, smart game.
  8. If JB can run at top speed, then use him as appropriate for down and distance. He does force defenses to account for his unreal top end speed. Even as a decoy he opens the field for Diggs and Beasley. If he can't run at his top speed, let him get healthy.
  9. It's been a while, but folks forget that Milano was a DNP in the first Chief's game. I think we are much healthier now than that game. Titan's game was an aberration with the constant uncertainty about when the game would be played.
  10. Wish Morse was built more like Eric Wood. Something comforting about a C that can take on 325 pound nose tackles with minimal help. This Morse is a bit slight and that hurts our running game. Do we let him go? Move Feliciano to C, and draft a stud guard [Cody can't stay healthy and might cost too much].
  11. Thing that is most telling to me is Bills 75 snaps, Steelers 57. Know the last drive padded that, but thought they could have scored on that - but didn't need to.
  12. I'm thinking that a lot of our problems against the run were due to Star opting out. We don't have a true replacement with his ability to at zero tech to mess up the center of the trenches. Milano being back, as long as he stays healthy helps us against the mobile qb's.
  13. He was taking Watt wide and deep most of the night, not many players in this league have done that over the past four years. Watt barely got close to Josh.
  14. The other thing to think about, is with Josh's other worldly arm strength, he completed several passes and got a big PI call moving to his right and throwing across the field, that would tell me a quality RT is also a priority.
  15. If Indy can build a dome, if Syracuse university has had a dome for 40 years, Buffalo can build a dome. Of course the towing service will make a fortune pulling cars out of the lot if they play in a blizzard. Hint, might not want to build the dome in the worst snowbelt of the great lakes. [Mom was a blasdell native]
  16. This game is at 8:20 PM, suspect there will be lots of propane heaters on the sideline.
  17. Please Lee smith, if you are blocking Watt, chip, not hold.
  18. Assuming Smoke doesn't have serious injuries which reduce his top end speed, he is still one of the fastest WR's in the league and takes the top end off defenses, as he often ties up their fastest most athletic DB. Diggs Beasley and Davis feast as a result.
  19. Being an original Bills fan, also means I am retired and have that hour to watch.
  20. The throw to gabe davis in the tight spot tells me he could be Andre Reed 2.0
  21. KC is in a great spot. Owner who grew up in the game, dad was the founder of the AFL, coach and defacto GM one of the great offensive minds ever, drafted the best QB in the league by trading down with us for the 10 spot.
  22. Forecast for the OP Sun 13 | Night 30° 39% Humidity W 12 mph Snow showers. Low around 30F. Winds W at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 40%. Snow accumulations less than one inch.
  23. I'm old enough to remember Butch Rolle was automatic in the red zone. 10 TD's in 5 years covering a total of 14 yards.
  24. Prettiest spiral in the NFL.
  25. Daboll and Dorsey deserve much credit for how they have developed Josh and this offense scares every team they play. The scheme on the TD to Davis was magic. Now if we could only get our running game going, January home playoff game in the OP probably needs a healthy dose of smash mouth football. Also we are still fumbling too much, and cold weather doesn't help ball security.
