  1. Josh is famous for his pregame butterflies and worse.
  2. Assuming John Brown has some semblance of his former speed, suspect Josh will be testing his elbow and a deep shot or two this game. I do worry about Spencer Brown and Saffold keeping him upright against the likes of Uche and Judon, I could see Bills running heavy formations with Bobby Hart to help against the pass rush.
  3. San Antonio and San Diego are the two largest cities without an NFL team. San Antonio has hosted both Men's and Women's final four. Alamodome may not have enough skyboxes etc.
  4. I do worry about if we don't get an early lead, that the Pats will use a steady dose of Stevenson running at Lawson and our depleted/nicked up LB's and secondary. Shorten the game and force us to stop the run.
  5. Davis is an exception, his family business & wealth all come from football [Thanks to Ralph for keeping Al Davis afloat back in the 60's], He's usually ranked as the least wealthy owner [excluding the Packers].
  6. Thanks, yes they have monster truck that weekend. Monster Truck in Indy is 2/4, Conference Championship is 1/29, can they turn over the stadium that quickly?
  7. as far as neutral site domes: Lucas Oil - Venue available Buf to Indy - 494 miles KC to Indy - 475 miles Cin to Indy - 112 miles Mercedes Benz - Atl - Venue available Buf to Atl - 887 miles KC to Atl - 792 Miles Cin to Atl - 460 miles Cinci fans will have a distance advantage to each of the domes in the eastern half of the country.
  8. Just looked at the available Free Agent safeties, and Jason McCourty is the only name I even remotely recognize. Cupboard is pretty bare.
  9. I suspect the head to head result would be excluded from the random number selection, having had a lot of statistics courses that would be most logical, but this is the NFL and the Hunts arguably are the most influential owners in the AFC.
  10. You could add team president and co-owner out of action due to health issues.
  11. That's true, I was there in the bleachers with my dad.
  12. Bills really screwed up on Hodgins. Guy looks like a great target
  13. People keep saying we have to create a lot of cap space for Edmunds. He's making 12.7MM this year on his 5th year option. Sign him to a 4 yr deal and spread the signing bonus, and he actually could help the cap in 2023.
  14. Since 2017 - First and Second Round 2017 1 27 Tre'Davious White - All Pro before injury 2018 1 16 Tremaine Edmunds - Pro Bowl 2018 1 7 Josh Allen - Top 3 QB in the league 2019 1 9 Ed Oliver - Top 25% of DT's 2021 1 30 Gregory Rousseau - 2nd Yr Top 15% of Edge 2022 1 23 Kaiir Elam - Rookie, below average CB 2017 2 63 Dion Dawkins top 25% of OT's 2017 2 37 Zay Jones - Traded - currently top 40% of WR's 2019 2 38 Cody Ford - Traded - bottom 10% of OT's 2020 2 54 A.J. Epenesa - Bottom 20% of Edge 2021 2 61 Carlos Basham Jr. - Middle of the pack Edge 2022 2 63 James Cook - Top 1/3 of RB as rookie, top 4 in his age group. I would say busts are Cody Ford and AJE. Jury is out on Elam. League Wide there are 640 1st and 2nd round choices in a 5 year cycle, Bills have several stars and a number of solid if not spectacular contributors. Not every first or second rounder is going to be an all-pro or pro-bowler.
  15. A side benefit of our substandard O-line is that Knox has developed into a solid run blocker, ranked in the top 10 among TE's in that area.
  16. Reed & Lofton, with Thurmal out of the backfield, McKellar/Metzelaars, Beebe to take the top off defenses. Who do you double?
  17. PFF Mock out yesterday has the Bills taking Texas RB Bijan Robinson with the #31 pick. This board would revolt if the Bills picked a RB in Rd1.
  18. Darrisaw [Vikings] total rookie contract is 13.3MM for 4 yrs. He's 23. He is a first rounder so will get paid in year 5.
  19. Grading out as the 12th best tackle, he's already the fourth highest paid tackle, cap hit is $35MM in 2023 as it stands now. there are 4 tackles on their rookie deals [Darrisaw, Thomas, Wirfs & Sewell] who grade out higher than he does.
  20. Injury List based off of last week and game issues: Josh Allen Boogie Basham - OUT wk 16 Ryan Bates - Inj in Game AJ Epenesa LP before game Dawson Knox - Inj in Game Matt Milano LP before Game Mitch Morse - OUT wk 16 Ed Oliver - LP before Game Jordan Phillips - Inj in Game Injured Reserve Probably can return? Jamieson Crowder Jake Kumerow Christian Benford Eli Ankou Micah Hyde ? Out til 2023 Von Miller Tommy Doyle
  21. 1964 and 1965 Bills would beg to disagree. Bills won the 1965 title on the road. This old guy remembers those titles. Agreed, much harder now with so many teams in the playoffs.
  22. Right now, our cap spending (including IR) is $87MM Defense, $77MM Offense, $16MM ST Core. Edmunds is on a fifth year option in 2022 at $12.7MM. Spotrac says $14.3 is market value Josh Allen's cap hit goes up $23MM in 2023, so they will have to extend/restructure. Von and DIggs have big bumps next year as well. Ed Oliver's fifth year option in 2023 is $10.7MM Bills are #25 in terms of cap space. Our current contracts have us $4MM over the projected 2023 cap. Beane has to work a lot of magic to be sure.
  23. Our O-line play is mediocre, that takes away a lot of screen and tight end plays that can generate big YAC. McKenzie [when he can catch the ball] isn't exactly a huge YAC machine.
