  1. Looks like yucky weather in the Bay Area. 54 degrees and pouring rain, good way to get sick.
  2. Bills need a 1 tech like Kobie Turner, really impacts the running game.
  3. The Chiefs are getting healthier tho, I see Pacheco is back, they are fairly healthy. I did see that Humphries, the tackle they signed off the street was a DNP at practice yesterday.
  4. I though Cine was signed to Bulk up and be a "Big Nickel" who would be a hybrid LB/S type. Other than ageless wonder Bobby Wagner [34 yrs old] most of the other top LB's in the league are in their 20's. Milano is likely reaching end of useful life as a LB. Out of the 175 LB's who have played this year, Milano is among the 25 oldest.
  5. Klein trying to cover Kelce in that game will be in the football coaching textbooks forever.
  6. Of course our 1st Round man defender - Elam was inactive, and our special teams got a punt blocked. Smiley and McDermott have to own those decisions.
  7. Our D has few "stars" at least the way they are playing this season. Benford is a top corner, but Nacua embarrassed our entire secondary. Our safeties are journeymen, Milano is still playing his way into game shape. Our DL [Rosseau and Miller are you listening] was unable to get to a 36 yr old immobile QB, and is facing 3 of the top O-lineman in football in Ragnow, Sewell, & Zeitler. LaPorta is better than either of our tight ends, Shakir kinda offsets St. Brown. If we don't generate some pressure or turnovers, this could be a blowout on the proportion of the Ravens game. Josh was able to score on 6 of 9 drives vs. Rams. Punt Block was a knife in the side that put us in a hole we never dug out of.
  8. Wonder if PFF would ever start grading refs on every play like they do players? Would be interesting to see how some of these reffing crews grade out.
  9. Douglas was excellent last year, but I'm not sure he's playing at the same level this season. Father time may be catching up. T. Johnson has had some injury issues and he's not playing at the same high level as in the past. Benford has been playing well, but a veteran QB and a pair of top tier receivers exposed him a bit yesterday. Last season Bills fielded 3 CB's that were among the best in the league, this season, as a group, not playing at the same level in 2024, yesterday exposed that as we were playing from behind from the opening drive.
  10. Stafford is one of the most savvy QB's in the game, with two top 10 receivers - so confusing probably doesn't work. We have highly paid; Miller, Oliver, Jones, 1st Rounder Rousseau [who we have for 1 more season before he backs up the Brinks truck], and no one got near a 36 year old not noted for his elusiveness.
  11. i think the defense only let up 38, Bills scored 42. Special teams where McDermott dedicates a chunk of roster spots also gave up a TD.
  12. And I think I saw that Elam, who apparently is a competent man cover corner, was actually inactive, and when Douglas went down, we had a Ingram trying to cover Kupp/Nacua. Elam has 723 snaps in the league, Ingram has 166. Elam must really be in McDermott's doghouse.
  13. We have an all-world QB, and lose this game on a special teams blocking error. Kinda Billsy for sure.
  14. Nacua was drafted 5th round #177. 31 scouting depts.
  15. We do have Anderson who has a fair number of snaps at Jumbo TE, and Gilliam can play TE in a pinch
  16. Not sure why they didn't IR him if it looked like he would be out this long?
  17. I think VanDemark is the swing tackle based on his replacing Brown vs. KC. Anderson is the top C & G sub if someone goes down.
  18. Dion has already caught two TD passes in his career lining up as eligible. Mitch Frerotte also has 2 career TD receptions. The record for O-lineman is 4 shared by Anthony Munoz [HOF], Joe Valerio, and Donald Penn.
  19. Looking at Ref Assignments, smelling like we will get Hochuli vs. Detroit next week.
  20. Lions unpacked the Packers off the opening KO.
  21. Smoke - John Brown in Josh's first couple of seasons 4.34 at the combine.
  22. I feel the need...for speed, need a wideout who can keep defenses honest; someone able to go and get the deep ball, not sure we have that right now.
  23. That defensive tackle is 6'6" 310# Chris Jones, arguably the best at his position in the NFL. Most Offensive Lineman facing Chris Jones have bad games. he is relentless and rarely takes a play off.
  24. Thought it interesting that the Rams team site for week 14 shows Zero injuries. Are they really that healthy?; or is McVay just gaming the system. Find it very hard to believe in Week 14 that an NFL team has no one injured enough to report.
