  1. The fact that so many people take threads like this seriously suggests that the collective “q” isn’t that high to begin with.
  2. Given McDermott’s ability to coach up DBs I don’t think this is such a bad idea. We’re going to need someone to replace Tre when he’s hired to the Sabres coaching staff. Also, converting a 1st rd WR to a CB saves them the criticism of drafting another CB in the first round until training camp starts, which I’m sure has to be a huge consideration for them.
  3. No worries. You just confused his attitude with his hands.
  4. . . . _ _ _ . . . . . . _ _ _ . . . . . . _ _ _ . . .
  5. What about former Bills WRs?
  6. Does anyone know how to pass the time on TBD before the draft? Ask Irv.
  7. Gotta love that HP is wearing a Pancho Billa shirt.
  8. I think you're confusing Corey Carter with Corey B-something-or-other. Corey Carter has a big leg and was going to supplant Schmidt but blew out his ACL in preseason. Corey B-s-o-o was snagged off of the Patriots*** practice squad on the eve of the season without having punting a single ball in a preseason game (supposedly so BB could try to hide him), and Schmidt was cut. Then B-s-o-o was injured after being very inconsistent... put a lot of kicks inside the 20, but also shanked a handful and had that go- awful "thought they called a fake pass" play.
  9. I'm so confused... are you trying to bait people into violating the TOS?!?! Didn't eball just get a finger wagging (and an inexplicable "vague title" form letter) for calling out front office executive ScottLaw this morning for this very thing? As far as the new guys, we all know they suck. Why do you think we don't want them starting threads?
  10. NFL executive? No GM is gonna say this. I’m guessing the author either bumped into Mark Davis when he was in line to buy his next designer sweat suit or Jerruh when he was drunk in an elevator with an escort.
  11. Maybe so, but if the rumor mill is to be believed he wanted Hue Jackson over Rex... which at the time may have seemed reasonable... however in hindsight would have been one of the few coaching hires that could have been both more of a douche and a worse coach than Rex.
  12. Trust me, despite alluding to it, had I actually been smoking this thread would have quickly gone from bad parody to paranoid confession about posting stoned, which you all obviously would have known anyway based on the judgmental looks on the faces of your avatars.
  13. Has there ever been a post on an entertainment oriented message board on any topic that at its core wasn’t a means to waste time? Let’s not delude ourselves into believing we’re solving the world’s problems here (that’s what PPP’s for).
  14. Hear me out. We’ve got threads espousing the virtues of drafting around offense, defense, and special teams but, much like the Bills since the turn of the millennium, everyone ignores coaching. I know, I know... people will argue continuity and that McDermott hasn’t been given a chance yet to succeed with his players... blah, blah, blah... Consider for a minute the 2002 Buccaneers. Yes, the price was steep, but they won a Super Bowl. Let that sink in for a minute... Tampa Bay has won a Super Bowl. I say screw drafting for offense. Screw drafting for defense. And definitely SCREW drafting for special teams. Pony up those 10 picks, plus whatever picks next year... and hell even the year after that if we have to and draft a coach (more accurately trade the picks for a coach, but you get the gist). Now I’m not advocating we do it for Chucky... though it did work once. Honestly, I’m not sure who would be befitting that honor. But while we’re burning through picks I say we trade a few more to fill out the staff and bring in John Harbaugh as ST coordinator, Sean Payton as OC, and Bill Belichick as DC. Smell that? It’s the sweet smell of success... which actually kinda resembles the smell of a skunk a little bit. A sweet, smoky, hunger inducing skunk.
  15. W!T!F! does Dez Bryant have to do with this?!?!
  16. But... our amps go to “11”.
  17. Huh... I’d have thought the media would’ve made a bigger deal of the fact that Gregg had a love child with Baker when he was in Cleveland.
  18. Didn't seem salty at all. Seems like he's acknowledging what we all know; hiring someone because their background on paper follows a similar trend as the latest success story instead of based on that person's merit has a higher likelihood to fail than succeed. If you ask me he's saying he can't wait to play the Cardinals...
  19. You do realize that Tony Romo is not Jason Witten, right?
  20. The Antonio Brown? I’m gonna guess it wasn’t Josh Allen.
  21. Blasphemy of this nature suggests a man who not only has contempt for all humanity, but one who would also spit in the eye of his creator...
  22. You misspelled "antiquated".
  23. Vince Young re-took it. If you add his two scores together he's still in the bottom 20% of the list.
  24. I’m shocked. I would have thought they’d still be rejoicing about the 3rd and the 5th that they swindled from Oakland, the giant pile of jack-squat they got for Bell, and how much better these moves make their team for the 2019 season.
