What was the furthest you traveled to see the Bills play?
billykay replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep.Went to the Super Bowl XXVII game in Pasadena. We also went to the London game 6 or 7 years ago. Both times from Buffalo. -
It's WAAAYYY Overdue - Holding Calls Should be 5 Yards
billykay replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Especially when the hold is of the tickki- tackki variety on the other side of the field. Automatic first downs on a 3rd &35 should be changed. I don't have a perfect solution. Perhaps 10 yards but not an automatic 1st down. -
NY Jets at Buffalo Bills, Sunday Dec 11 at 1 pm
billykay replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
DB's seem to be holding one arm, forcing the WR to attempt one handed catches. -

Hank Bullough: That'll take the sails out of his wind.

Right. It's very frustrating to have to look for a yellow flag after every great play. I have suggested for years a partial solution for at least some of the OL holding penalties. It should be mandatory that every Guard and Tackle wear a modified mitten , something less bulky but similar to a boxing glove. I realize that OL would still be able to arm bar and essentially tackle a pass rusher, but I think that it would reduce the flags which we all find annoying.

Isaiah McKenzie Show 9/26 - discusses the scene in Miami
billykay replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. Even if he had to run backwards a few yards to get out of bounds. -
Early season games in Miami should all be 4pm games.

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
billykay replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think that the Ravens like his backup a lot. That makes it a bit easier to let Lamarr go for a bundle of picks. There is nothing wrong with his arm strength. -
Most talented player in Bills franchise history?
billykay replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
hits ? What hits ? His vision was so good that I never saw him take a big hit. I rate him right up there with Barry & Jim Brown. -
James Cook is going to be a major problem
billykay replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Blackshear looks like a steal.. Speed, shiftiness and pretty good size. -
The blocking seems fine for our other guy.
-
Only if he stops running into the backs of his blockers. Maybe he needs glasses.

Why don't NFL players have Tommy John surgery?
billykay replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. I was just going to say that baseball pitchers not only throw hard, they also are snapping their elbow every time they throw a curve or slider. As an aside, I've played HS and College basketball and I have yet to see a torn ACL. I'm sure there are some but it is seldom compared to football. Lots of starting stopping and twisting but just a few knee injuries compared to football. -
Name some good outside cornerbacks with sub 30 inch arms.
billykay replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is arm length measured ? Is there a margin for error ? Can a 30 1/8 really be a 30" ? -
Are ACL injuries no big deal anymore? The data suggest they are
billykay replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly. I'd like to know the average age of those who suffered an ACL injury. Then, I would like to see all the players in that age group. Then, see if there is a significant difference in who is still in the league three years later. -
Julio Jones is a hamstring waiting to happen.

I'm guilty.

a lot longer than that.
