The only full game he played was the last one with the 2nd teamers. he also played in the NE game & threw an int. The year before he played like an all pro on the road in his only playing time. He's obviously not an all pro but seems to be a good backup. I do agree that we should be grooming a young QB on the practice squad - just in case of the "what ifs". What if Josh has a serious debilitating injury. What if he eventually decides that he would rather play closer to his family in Cali. What if he regresses. All of the above is not likely but neither was the corona virus. Just saying.
Not if he gets injured. Signing now would mean a little less money, but it would give him more security. In a violent sport like football, security has a value.
In Florida, there are many developments where you buy a house but pay rent for the land. Because of this, the homes , many of which are manufactured homes, are generally pretty cheap.
Listening to your back and forth with Logic, I have to say that you are the one with the nasty comments while he has been a gentleman. Shut it down before a Mod does.
I agree about the Bills getting more physical. I seem to remember that in the 2nd half the Bills went to their base D instead of using 5-6 DBs, which was common against the " Run & Shoot". It changed the game.
It's possible that whoever they sign or draft could also be a punt & kick returner. Also, it looks like the new agreement with the players union calls for 2 more game day slots.
Has anyone noticed the play of Cam Philips in the XFL?
This. I know that the Cap is going up.
He is good but no better than lots of other mid tier QB's. Dallas could have thrown Trubisky in there & their record wouldn't have been much different.
I agree. The pre snap reads will come with time. What he has to improve on right away is the 20-40 yard throws to open receivers. What a difference this would make for the Bill's offense. He has a tendency to overthrow these.
You're right that they can just stay at 5 & get their QB, but only if another team doesn't jump them. And you are right - I am assuming that Miami is targeting a QB.
Just thinking of Washington's needs. If I were them when dealing with Miami, I would demand Miami move up to #3 before I negotiate. That would then ensure that Washington gets Chase plus whatever draft picks they can steal from Miami.
He is no better than John Brown. Dallas will overpay him and he will remain good but not great. The Bills should get their WR in the draft & fill other holes in both the draft & free agency.
