  1. If you feel Allen is a franchise QB after his rookie year you are best off trying to accumulate picks in a trade down or draft Bosa or Oliver as a pass rushing force on defense. I think no matter what unless Allen looks completely tragic the Bills are going to build around Allen both via free agency and the draft. As much as I like Oliver and Bosa I think the better play is to trade down for a package of picks IF it includes a top 10 selection in 2019, a 2nd round pick in 2019, a mid round pick in 2019, and a 1st and 3rd in 2020. That would set the Bills up to get 3-4 primer prospects in the 2019 draft and set the team up nicely in 2020. But if the offer is much more modest in a trade down take the stud pass rusher and figure out the rest. Odds are the Bills will have spent significantly in free agency and hopefully will have less holes to fill. Significant Pass rushers don't often become free agents so filling that need for a front line pass rusher is critical for the success of the defense. So for an extra 2nd and a future 1st I would pass and just take the pass rusher.
  2. In any college with tens of thousands of students you are going to have a good selection of hotties. As far as do warmer climate places have hotter women? Yes and no, NYC has as attractive a female population as any place in the USA. I would also put Chicago as up there. But there are also many warm weather cities like Los Angeles that have an equally insane level of attractive women. I think it is far more dependent on the metro area than anything else. But I could easily see women being more attracted to going to warm weather areas for college. I think parts of the South and Southern California in general has an insane level of attract give women.
  3. IF it was an actual rule instead of a suggested guideline players would get fined. The NFL and other sports leagues fine players for uniform violations if this was actually something they could penalize players for they would do it. The person you are arguing with does not seem to comprehend this.
  4. Seems like what is impressive about Allen is the ease to which he can throw a bullet of a pass. He can put a lot of zip on a ball without having to throw his whole body into it. Then when he throws his body into it he can launch it seemingly 70 plus yards. Dude is still raw but if he can continue to work on his footwork he can go places (I believe that his decision making will only improve with time.)
  5. In a sense that the Bills could be a team with a year two QB that makes a big win now push I could see the Bills going on an off-season spending spree to surround Allen with talent. I see at least 1 big O-line free agent and 1 big skill position free agent being added to the offense. The Bears added one of the top WR's on the market in Allen Rob, a significant complementary piece in Tyler Gabrielle, and one of the most in demand after TE's on the market in Burton. To top it off they also added in a early second round WR in Miller. That's in addition to adding Roquan Smith and Mack to the defense. The Bills have to spend big in 2019 to radically improve the offense around Allen. The whole plan was to have a rookie QB on a cheap contract and have the cap space to spend around that.
  6. Whaley did draft Miller who put in 2 really solid years at RG before last year when he fell apart in 2017. Mills hasn't been a stud but he is a good run blocker and Whaley picked him up off the Lions practice squad. The O-lines under Whaley were generally pretty good, now that's not all on him, as you said InCog was a Rex decision and he inherited Wood and Glenn. But he managed to find some pieces around those 3 esp with Miller those first two years.
  7. David Amerson would be a nice player to kick the tires on considering how depleted the roster is at CB. Amerson was a second rounder from the Redskins in 2013, he was a bust there after 3 seasons he got cut, he was picked up by the Raiders in 2015 and turned in a great season. He signed a big contract in 2016 and produced well for them starting on that 2016 12-4 Raiders team. He got hurt in 2017 and was released probably not worth his big salary and easy to be cut on the third year of a big deal. He signed with the Chiefs but was cut before the season started. If he fits the scheme and the contract makes sense I would really not mind bringing him in.
  8. Sammy only missed one game last year and he didn't put up eye popping numbers despite being on a very good offense with an emerging young QB. I think Sammy is a good player maybe even a very good player but I don't see him being a top 5 WR in the league even if he stays healthy. I see him as DeSean Jackson type player, which is a big play WR but one that isn't an elite all around player.
  9. Main issue yes but not the only issue. The team as a whole played better when Mayfield came in.
  10. The difference is the Browns have a #1 draft pick QB on the bench whereas morons here were calling for !@#$ing Nate Peterman to start over him because he looked better in pre-season last year.
  11. Tyrod isn't the only issue with their offense at the moment but a big move like that might just be a big enough change to awaken their offense. It would liven up the game for sure.
  12. Honestly, I still miss him, Allen would benefit from not being rushed in. What's done is done they did get a good return for him at the very least.
  13. They might pull Tyrod. I don't think the offense's ineptitude is completely on him but the offense might need a spark and Mayfield coming in might be just what they need.
  14. Neither one excites me too much, I actually wouldn't mind signing Kapernick but the process probably wouldn't want all the controversy and distraction that would come with it. I don't know what even decent veteran backup QB is out there. I wouldn't mind trading a 6th in 2019 for a halfway decent veteran QB just as a backup to Allen. But I am not sure what team has a spare vet QB.
  15. 225 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT's, with a 55% completion percentage.
  16. Actually, Kelsey at one point signed a deal worth 7 million a year (I have no clue why this team kept handing him deals way above market value) Murphy's current deal is just over 7 million but considering Murphy's deal as a percentage of the cap compared to Kelsey's Murphy is paid considerably less. I thought Murphy's deal was a bit of an overpay but if he can be a reliable supplemental pass rusher in a rotation it will be a productive deal.
  17. In a year where you are trying to build for the future I would rather take my chances on younger players than a vet who hasn't impressed much. I honestly liked the Newhouse acquisition as a cheap swing tackle but it might be time to cut the team's losses.
  18. Whaley was good at pro-personnel decisions. But he was also were pretty bad at drafting. I also think that Whaley was also not good with managing the cap. He wasn't tragic at it but Whaley's big spending pretty much capped out the team for several seasons afterwards. I think Whaley was more mediocrity waiting to happen as you can't build a sustained winner without good to great drafting. You can plug holes and fill in some spots with free agents and trades but you build the base with the draft and although the jury is still out on the 2017 and 2018 draft classes for the Bills I do like the 2017 class (White and Dawkins could be real building blocks, Milano a late round pick is a solid starter, and Zay still has time to turn it around) more than I liked any of Whaley's drafts.
  19. I meant Boettger, I would cut Newhouse as well but I fear this staff will favor the vet and try to sneak Boettger to the PS.
  20. Are you !@#$ing serious with this question? This has to be trolling. Now it could be that the McBeane experiment fails. But after a playoff appearance and what looks to be a rebuilding year in 2018 it is hardly enough to say they are doing a bad job, esp if you factor in that they have used 2017 (Despite the playoff appearance) and 2018 to put themselves in position to build a team around a young affordable QB in 2019. I will grant you this if they wiff on their 2019 cap space and draft classes and Allen is a bust then McBeane will have failed and will be as craptacular as anyone except maybe Marv and Jauron (At least McBeane will have the playoff appearance.) But there is no way you can look at McBeane and think they are worse than some of the bad regimes that preceded them at worst they get an incomplete grade.
  21. 21 starts in 74 career games, was an undrafted free agent for the Eagles for a few years before bouncing around the last 2 years. Not a bad kick the tires depth move. Although I don't know where he fits on the roster. They have Groy, Newhouse, Teller and Bollinger as backups, unless they cut Bollinger or Newhouse (which is possible) there does seem to be much room for him on the roster.
  22. 31-10 Minny. I think this game is a close 14-10 game at the half but the Vikings pile up the points in the second half as the defense breaks and the offense turns the ball over.
  23. I would dispute him being a billionaire many times over, most of his wealth comes from his personal evaluation of his Trump brand. Setting that aside, (And there no doubt that Trump is wealthy very wealthy just the extent can be disputed) if there is a global powerful elite why not just ruin Trump and his family with bankruptcies and hardships. Trump has ties to the mafia, everyone in the tristate area knows someone with a shady Trump story. Surly the Deep State could do better than they have. With the resources of literally the world at your back I can think of thousands of ways to take care of someone causing trouble. I some plebe on a message board can think of 3,000 different ways they could have taken care of Trump by now. Yet the real global elite can't get the job done? I think it is more likely that you are being hustled by Trump apologists masking incompetence as conspiracy. The deep state is alleged by many to be some sort of global group that secretly controls the world. If they had managed to control the world I think they could have the guy from the Apprentice taken care of. Could it be that there are elements within the US government that don't like Trump and are working against him? Yeah I think that could be, but that's far removed from a NWO style regime working against saint Trump.
  24. I am just telling you what I have heard from some pretty credible people, at that age it isn't nearly as life jarring an event but still be sure to see your child often obviously. I am no expert myself but that's what I heard from pretty credible people. As for the jealousy side, you should feel OK to be a little jealous but eventually, things will settle down and you both will be OK with it. Just avoid sleeping with friends or people she knows. There will be some friction even couples who are together fight over how to raise a child. So it is natural that split up people will too. Just don't let it get personal or uncivil and keep it away from your child as much as possible. My parents are still together but they did fight a normal amount of the time and I would classify them as having a healthy relationship. Overall I am confident you will be OK and your kid will be OK based off of what I read.
  25. Wouldn't they have the resources to take care of anything? Suddenly they became unable to control the guy from the Apprentice? I think if they offered Trump 50 billion dollars to !@#$ off he would take the buyout. You could say they aren't all powerful but you can't have them be all-powerful and incompetent.
