I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of pass rush Oliver and Sanders generate.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kincade's dropped pass cost us the final drive against the Chiefs?

Perhaps this morning’s interview had an influence on Moore’s meeting with the Bills today. I hope not.
-
I liked Moore coming out of Mississippi. He's never had a decent quarterback at the Jets and Browns. Perhaps he could be the talented field stretcher the Bills have coveted.

Today's interview with Beane is a testament to Marv Levy's comment, " If you listen to the fans, you will end up sitting with them."

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
gjv replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Watching his film, he reminds me of Deon Sanders. -
I hope the Bills draft Femi Oladejo, edge, UCLA, and Jabob Parrish, CB, Kansas. Oladejo reminds me of Abdul Carter, and Parrish is a Taron Johnson clone.

Here's wishing Brandon Beane and his staff all the luck they need for the next three days to have the greatest draft in Buffalo Bills history. GO BRANDON!!! GO BILLS!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone seen Joey Bosa? Has anyone seen Joey Bosa?

I will watch every pick on days one and two. On day three I’ll watch the first hour to hour and half. After that, I’ll monitor the Bills picks on my phone.

Is Cook the only Bill not attending voluntary work-outs?
-
I would trade up high for a player that Beane and McDermott believe would be a difference-maker for the Bills. Preferably on the Defensive side of the ball, but that's secondary to their belief this payer is worth the draft capital to select. Otherwise, depending on how the Draft plays out, I would be inclined to trade back to the top of round two and pick up a third-round pick that could get me another pick at the top of the second round. Thus, swapping picks 30, 56, and 62 for two picks in round two that fall into the range from 33 to 36 and a later round pick.

Miami Herald: Dolphins players have turned on McDaniel
gjv replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Perhaps it's the Herald that has turned on McDaniel and Grier rather than the players. -
Next to Josh Allen, Cook has the most touches for the Offense. He also is second in yards gained and TDs scored. That being said, you would think he has a great argument to be the second-highest paid skill player on the Offense. Of course, since his skill set is so common, his argument to be paid is worthless, We can find a RB in the middle round of this year's draft, save a lot of money, get the same production, and let Cook walk. It's really a no-brainer, or am I missing something?

Thoughts on Attempting to Obtain 4 2025 2nd Round Draft Picks?
gjv replied to HIT BY SPIKES's topic in The Stadium Wall
From my perspective I would rather see the Bills move up in round one for a player they believe is a difference maker. I certainly would prefere that player be on the defensive side of the ball, but that is secondary to a player the Beane and McDermott believe is a difference maker. -
I"m hoping Cook and the Bills can come to a reasonable contract settlement. Last thing I want to see is a holdout by Cook that goes into week nine of the season. That being said, there is a running back out of the Univ. of Cenral Florida, RJ Harvey, that I believe is an upgrade to Cook. I would like to see the Bills draft Harvey.

Keon Coleman FaceTimes Josh Allen - Funny
gjv replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised. -
This years RB's draft class appears to loaded with high level performers. I would be happy to see the Bills draft RJ Harvey out of the Univ of Central Florida in a latter round.
-
Next to Josh, Cook was the most effective skill player on our offense, not to mention he had the second most touches. It seems to me in the Brady offense, Cook's RB skill set is very important. Unless this skill set is easily replaceable, I would think Cook should be the second highest paid skill player on the offense.

Bengals extend Chase (4 yrs $161mill) AND Higgins (4 yrs $115mill)
gjv replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Perhaps you should move. -
There is a rumor going around that Stephan Diggs is headed back to Buffalo. Apparently he has uploaded all his old Bills photos on his social media.

I hope this draft is deep enough at DT that we can draft a 1t and 3t that can make a meanful contribution to the defense this coming season. Beane is overdue in drafting a difference maker in round 1.
-
This kind of put a damper on the off season for me. Beane certainly screwed up. Hopefully, he can make up for his blunder with an outstanding draft.
-
I would hope in the case of Ogunobi, Beane renegotiated so as to reflect him not being able to play in the first six games of the season.
-
If I'm Pagula I would certainly want a real good explanation as why Beane spent 30 mil and wasted two roster spots on druggy's.
