Beane anticipates Cole Beasley being back next season
DCbillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane is just saying the right things right now about Beasley and everyone else. The off season just started for them. Beanes is still processing wtf happened on Sunday. -
I got to blame McD. 13 seconds from victory. Yeah the D and O had their moments but in the end 13 seconds from victory. McD all way is to blame imo.

I agree. Plus they may want to bring back Neal, Zimmer and either Hughes or Addison. If they let Hughes and Addison go, there's a huge void in veteran leadership that McD covets, and likely means another high draft pick on a DE. Would prefer Bills drafting other positions besides DE.

Two games later, Allen 9 TDs 0 int and Haack has 0 punts. Poor McD!! 😁

Have you ever gotten into a fight over the Bills?
DCbillsfan replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Never been in a fight. Reading through this thread reminds me of why I drink AFTER the game. -
What Would You Consider a Successful Season? - Poll
DCbillsfan replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills are playing as well as anyone else the past 5 weeks or so. They are relatively healthy minus Tre White. Need to take advantage of this opportunity. Period. -

A Few Thoughts about the Jets Game, in no particular order
DCbillsfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Virgil - thanks for the writeups this season! Motor seems to have upped his overall game the past several games. He's getting more touches and even though the Bills are a pass first offense, the Bills are demonstrating an element of ball control in their offensive drives. -
most underrated move by Beane during his time here
DCbillsfan replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
One of my favorite moves by Beane was trading Russ Bodine to the Cheaters for a 6th rd pick. Bodine was cut about a week later. I don't know who we got for it but like it anyway. -

Fully expect Beane to re-work some contracts (Diggs) and possibly let Star go to create cap space. Wallace and Phillips will be priority re-signings. I could see them bring back Hughes, Neal, Zimmer, McKenzie and Boettger. Bills have trouble getting all their picks on the 53 man as it is.

A Few Thoughts about the Falcons Game, in no particular order
DCbillsfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Harrison Phillips is coming on. Yes he's been fighting injuries for quite some time but he looks as good as he ever has. Think the Bills need to re-sign him. Show Star the door. -
Diggs catches almost every ball. I'm not sure what receiver catches that pass yesterday. If Allen threw it with less juice, I think Diggs catches it.

Can we finally put the need for a dome stadium to rest?
DCbillsfan replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was thinking more along the lines of the Colts stadium. I've been to Jerry's World. It's amazing and it's over the top. No way am I suggesting anything like that. Also been to Heinz field. Bills can't get a new stadium fast enough imo. -

I have not followed the new stadium situation closely. PSE determined new stadium. Did they announce open air stadium as well? -

WNY would benefit from a dome stadium because it would be a multi venue location. The cost of the roof is really irrelevant because the venue would be around 50 years or so. The amount of revenue generated over that time would more than cover the expense. All you have to do is look at the last 50 years of events at the Ralph. Overwhelmingly Bills games not much else. A dome would afford all sorts of revenue opportunities - concerts, auto shows, NCAA basketball tournament games, etc. The ***** weather and feeling uncomfortable has little to do with it. -
Sanders is a FA and I believe is 34. Don't think he'll be back. Beasley is 33 and I could see the Bills move on from him after the season. Even if he does come back next season, he has only 1 year left on contract. Hodgins is unproven but has good size. I like McKenzie but he's not a big guy. I'm not sure he can really hold up a full season with an increased work load. Plus he's a FA. Hopefully Bills bring him back. I like Davis. Bills need more dynamic playmakers on offense to pair up with Allen and Diggs imo
