  1. I think YOLO had a good point on Haack vs Araiza. Regardless of what's going on with Araiza, the Bills didn't want Haack. So they either stick with Araiza or pick up a punter.
  2. Wow. I thought for sure he would not play tomorrow.
  3. So what options do the Bills have before Tuesday 4pm? Could he go on commissioners exemption list? Or is it cut him or keep him only?
  4. Some interesting takes by Arizona podcast guys regarding Ford. Ford had a "good" rookie year. Ford has "positional flexibility". I don't believe the Bills would have traded him if that was the case.
  5. He's primarily been a large WR with no blocking responsibilities. Now they want him to block and he's struggling. Interesting roster management though. They franchised tagged him and now want to trade him. 😁
  6. Earlier this year, Beane admitted that he was too impatient with Wyatt Teller and traded him. It felt like they were way too patient with Ford.
  7. Possible. I'm wondering if Beane may be trying swing another trade.
  8. I hope Boogie turns it on this year. It was tough watching our oline get blown up last year and seeing Boogie inactive on game days. Really wanted an oline guy in round 2 last year.
  9. When Howard is not on the air, WGR is pretty much unlistenable.
  10. This top 100 lost me when Von Miller was 93 and Mac Jones was 85. Absolutely ridiculous!
  11. I think Spector makes the 53. Smith is suspended the first 6 games. Dodson I believe is an RFA after the season and Smith, Matakevich, and Edmunds are FAs. So it makes sense to keep Spector due to probable turnover. I think Hodgins beats out Kumerow. Hodgins has 2 years left on his deal. As long as Hodgins does alright on teams he should beat out Kumerow. I'm hoping Morris beats out Sweeney. That would be another young cheap guy. Sweeney is a JAG. As good as Blackshear has looked, he's done it against mostly third stringers. I think they'll try to put him on the PS.
  12. I was so glad when Bobby Johnson left.
  13. I hope Ford can put it altogether with Kromer. He's had a lot of chances. It's been frustrating to watch. Sometimes being told the cold hard truth is what a guy needs to hear even though he hates hearing it.
  14. I think Howard stays. He's a good blocking TE and a red zone threat. Morris has looked good. Sweeney is a JAG.
  15. Matakevich, Jones, and Neal are all making the team imo. None of them played yesterday which indicates to me they are safe. They tried a bunch of different guys on kickoff coverage yesterday. Mixed results. Probably last year for Jones and Matakevich. Neal just signed 3 year extension in the Spring.
  16. I think it's possible Jones could be MVP .......of the Patriots. 😉
  17. I've been wondering the same scenario but reversed. Benford as Poyer's replacement.
  18. Those are huge numbers. Not sure if Davis reaches them but believe he will have a strong year that nets him a contract extension this upcoming off-season.
  19. I just looked up the Bills contracts on Spotrac. For 2023, Allen has a base salary of $27.5M which a large amount could be converted to a signing bonus to help create cap space. Dawkins, Milano, and White could be done too. Beane will figure it out. I don't believe they'll do any major signings next off-season but I also didn't think they would sign Von Miller either. So I'm not concerned about it. Just going to watch Beane do his thing and out maneuver most of his colleagues once again.
  20. If Hodgins keeps making plays he'll make the team this year. I believe drafting a WR in 2023 will be high priority. Keeping Oliver and Davis are the priorities imo.
  21. I think it's too late for Edmunds. He'll have to deal with making only $12M plus for this season and then rake in a huge contract with another team next March. Some team will clearly outbid the Bills. I think re-signing Knox is a stronger likelihood. I think he'll give the Bills a discount like Milano did. I believe the Bills biggest priority though is to extend Oliver next offseason. If Davis has a strong season, he'll be priority number two.
  22. If the Bills keep 6 LBs, I think Spector has a decent shot. As mentioned earlier, the Bills salary cap is only going to get tighter. A guy like Spector on a cheap 4 year rookie deal is going to be appealing. Also, Andre Smith is suspended the first 6 games. Finally, Edmunds, Smith, Matakevich, and Dodson are all FAs after this season. Potentially a lot of turnover.
  23. They wouldn't sign him until he's closer to being able to practice/play. Tre White tore his ACL around Thansgiving and OBJ tore his ACL in the Super Bowl. So OBJ is quite a ways away from playing again. It's usually at least 9 months to recover. They also won't sign him until at least after week 1 of the season because his salary won't be guaranteed then. As far as making room on the 53, there's always injuries where someone may go on IR or you could cut a guy who is on a 1 year deal so not really a big deal.
