As OP pointed out, a vet CB will likely be signed. In the draft, a CB pretty early to provide some depth. White is likely to start the season on PUP imo. After that, punter and a returner are the spots that stick out to me. Besides CB I see them drafting WR, IOL, TE, OT, LB, RB in no particular order.

I think this pretty much explains it. Even Shaq was hesitant to play for veteran minimum but Jordan Phillips convinced him to sign. If Bills offered Hughes veteran minimum, I'm a little surprised Hughes didn't take it. Hughes has made his money but doesn't have a championship. They have a strong shot at it this upcoming season.

The passing game is the strength of this team. Have to keep it strong. Draft a WR early in the draft who'll be on a cheap rookie deal. Stevenson is an unproven guy at this point who was a 6th rd pick. Hope he pans out but as others have said hope is not a plan.

I lived there for 7 years back in the 90s. Specifically Overland Park KS which is like Orchard Park in relation to Buffalo. They are two different cities with different state governments etc. Kansas City KS is a dying city and in a lot of ways undesirable. Violent crime, high unemployment etc. Kansas City Missouri is in much better shape economically. They have the Plaza which is a nice area for shopping, restaurants, and bars. They have also a nice art museum. There is a big difference between the 2 cities despite having the same name.

It appears the Bills only view him as a backup oline guy and gave him the lowest tender possible. If he leaves so be it so to speak. One of quite a few surprises. I thought Bates was going to be the starting LG this upcoming season.

If they do a post June 1st cut designation, the cap relief $4.1M isn't available until June 1st. If they cut him now they get $1.5 M in cap space to use right now.

I'd say it's real. Look at baseball, no salary cap and same teams make playoffs year after year and same teams suck year after year. Pro football with a cap levels the field and each team has an equal chance but you need a good GM and coach. Dodgers, Yankees, and Red Sox don't exist in football. Yes, the cap can be manipulated but eventually you gotta pay.

I like the Miller signing and unlike the OP I'm going to wait to see the numbers but I feel pretty confident in Beane. As others have pointed out the salary cap will go up in the next few years. The Bills have all of their draft picks to get young, cheap guys at WR, CB, and OL.

Like everyone else, I'm curious to see the numbers. The new tv contract will kick in soon to off set back years of contract. Stoked to get Miller as a free agent and have all of our draft picks to reload at WR, CB, OL, etc.

I agree. Williams will likely need to take a pay cut and he'll probably need to beat out competition for the RG spot.

It's not a top 100 board. It's a list comprised of players projected in all the rounds but limited to 100 players that they deem as draftable.
