  1. Groot doesn’t have the gaudy sack totals but he’s definitely getting lots of pressure
  2. Why would he be discussing the Ravens game that was 3 games ago this morning? That would be petty and unproductive, it's Tuesday and all they should be talking about is how to gameplan and defeat the Seahawks.
  3. I don't know if you are trolling but considering that Keon was the 8th WR selected in the draft which is considered to be potentially be one of the best WR drafts ever, I'd say he's overperforming where he was selected. He's off to a good start and you can see that he has playmaking ability.
  4. I agree that Post Season is what matters most but seeding is very important as well. The less road games the Bills have the higher the odds they continue to advance. Yes, I know that we lost to the Bengals and Chiefs at home but being at home is better than being on the road.
  5. People definitely are talking about his interceptions with some pundits acknowledging he isn't having a real good year throwing the ball, with that said he does seem to make plays when they need him to. The fact they are 6- 0 and that he is Patrick Mahomes, he does deservedly so get leniency. He shouldn't be MVP, but he has been getting the job done. Also, keep in mind that his two best receivers and RB are out and his offensive weapons are largely made up of ex Chiefs retreads in Hardeman, JuJu and Hunt.

    Game Balls

Dewayne Carter - The huge stop that turned the momentum Rousseau - pressuring Mason the entire game Epenesa - getting nice pressures and almost a pick Bernard- he has a knack for always being around the ball to pick up fumbles and he was all over the field Benford - every time I saw him he was draped all over the receiver Rasul - tight coverage Allen - Yet another highly efficient game Amari - great start to his career in Buffalo and kudos to him for being able to contribute this much in just a few days of preparation Keon- He’s going to be a beneficiary of Amari’s arrival and congrats to his first 100 yard game Kincaid - Was Allen’s go to guy in third down making huge catches Shakir- battling through his ankle injury and made himself a good contributor in the 2nd half RB room- They each made some plays and as a whole had 3 TD’s Spencer Brown- good pass protection and showed his meanness and athleticism on some plays specially the Ray Davis TD Coaching staff- made great 2nd half adjustments
  7. No, it’s just like when a receiver catches a ball when he’s going out of bounds, the rule isn’t having possession as you go out of bounds is maintaining possession throughout the play. Same as the endzone, you can’t just have possession as you cross the goal line on a pass, you have to maintain possession. You guys are confusing the rule as if you are a runner who already has possession and then they cross the goal line, in that scenario the runner could immediately fumble as he crosses the goal line and that would still be a TD. Exactly
  8. 2025 1st and 2nd and Epenesa and 2026 3rd His contract is manageable and he is a top 3 Edge rusher. He’s elite
  9. He has improved every year that he has been a pro, it's just that his level of improvement has been steady. He has not had any sort of exponential or breakout sort of growth, just steady. But he is consistently ascending. Also, his sack totals may not be great this year but he is getting pressure, I can't tell you how many times I have seen him hit the QB on a clean win against the OT as the QB is just getting rid of the ball. His run stopping is elite and his overall pass pressure is decent. I think he can become a good pass rusher but he'll never be an excellent one. Those guys in today's market for the Top DE is now at $34M a year and rising. Micah Parsons will most likely get over $37M. I said that Spencer Brown would end up getting over $17M a year and people scoffed and laughed and he got that. Rousseau will at a minimum get $20M + a year.
  10. He's going to be $20M + Most likely 4 year $90 M with about a little more than half of that guaranteed.
  11. The Nico blown coverage TD was a huge play that I think is counting against Cole right now with Babich and McD. He doesn’t have their full trust at the moment and he’s going to have to build that before he gets significant playing time unless injuries thrust into that role. I think if the Bills get another player before the end of the trade deadline it would be safety. Safety is their most pressing need.
  12. Check the last 15 seconds, the guy says he doesn't think the Bills may be done. He said LB and Safety could be two spots that they may look for in a trade. LB doesn't make sense to me, specially with the possibility that Milano could come back in December and that the depth does a good enough job to replace him as depth. Safety makes a lot of sense. Damar is ok for depth but he's below average starter, Rapp is fine and Cole Bishop hasn't earned the trust of the coaches I believe to thrust him over Damar at this stage. Damar at least is usually in the vicinity of where he is supposed to be whereas we saw how Cole was not and it cost us an important long touchdown against Houston. Would have been helpful if I had actually included the link 🙃
  13. I don’t believe this is the case at all. I believe McDermott is setting expectations, knowing that it’s difficult for a WR who doesn’t know the language or scheme to immediately be able to walk in to make a consistent difference. I would suspect that he’s happy to potentially have a WR who can win man to man matchups and that he could give this team a boost heading into the playoffs.
  14. People tend to over exaggerate. The Bills in 2 of the last 3 years were arguably 1 play away each year from beating the Chiefs and being the SuperBowl favorites. The Chiefs were barely the better team. The difference for me is that in those critical moments either the coaching wasn’t up to par and play makers such as Chris Jones made an all world play to disrupt an eventual TD whereas our players like Diggs doesn’t come up with a play and Bass misses a FG he should make. We weren’t that far off and even in a mini rebuild year like this we are right there.
  15. Strengths - Really good route runner - Has more speed than Diggs - Very good against press coverage Weakness - Doesn’t always give it his all and takes plays off
  16. This was without doubt Josh Allen's worst game. He threw balls that easily could have been intercepted, he was forcing passes down the field when there were many times throughout the game open receivers for underneath routes. He bailed out of the pocket too early missing receivers on numerous opportunities. On that last drive where everyone were blaming the receivers and McD/Brady, on two of the plays, specially the 2nd down play he had Kincaid open for an easy 7 yarder with a possibility of more yards afterwards, he also had the WR at the bottom for a 6 yarder and he also had Shavers who would have been open on an anticipation throw that would have been for about 12 yards. Honestly, I think his mental timing was off because Houston was getting decent pressure and he began rushing himself and in the 2nd half he tried to make big plays down the field rather than going for the easy stuff which was there. It happens to the best of them, hopefully he gets back to basics and looks for those underneath passes that are there to be had.
  17. I think the key matchup for the day will be Shakir. Shakir has been phenomenal when targeted and the Ravens and Hamilton have been very weak so far this year with the intermediate passing game. Buffalo by design is an “everyone eats” sort of an offense but I do believe the rate of the equal distribution we have seen is somewhat unsustainable and I believe we will begin to see some receivers begin to emerge and breakout from what we’ve seen so far. Today’s game most likely will see the most competitive game yet for the Bills and I like Shakir’s matchup and I think you could see a 7+ reception game from him today.
  18. Buffalo’s wide receivers relatively speaking suck. At least that’s what some on this board say You can make a strong argument that this is one of the best metrics to determine quality of WR play.
  19. Definitely not this year but we do have some big decisions to make in the next year or so. Rousseau Benford Bernard Cook Rasul Douglas Shakir You can’t keep all of them. Most likely have to let go of 2 of out of this group and my guess is that Douglas and Cook would be at the top of that list. Which is why priority #1 for the Bills is to re-sign as many of them as they can and accumulate picks to continue to keep drafting well to replace the ones we can’t keep. The idea of going after shiny toys in FA (cough cough WR) or via trade is most likely not in their plans. Thankfully Beane has put us in a position to have lots of money to re-sign many of these guys with lots of premium and overall draft picks.
  20. This is the point that I’ve been hammering away since before the draft, that most SuperBowl winners over the past 20 years have done it without true prototypical “1” WR’s How many stud #1’s did NE have out of their 7 wins? answer 0 How many out of 3 KC’s wins ? answer 1 The New York Giants 2 wins? 0 New Orleans 1 win? 0 GreenBays 1 win? 0 You can go back and find even more examples if you dig deep enough. The Bills Wide Receivers with combination of great play calling, elite QB and their ability to execute, not drop the ball and get lots of YAC is a winning formula and they have the horses to go the distance. It’s just a matter of the entire team does it for 4 quarters when they play the Chiefs in the playoffs .
  21. Using yards receiving stats as somehow being indicative and proof positive that the Bills WR’s are a “middling” group is peak idiocy. We could do the same for the TE production and it would be somewhere in the middle as well, RB’s the same. I guess if that’s the stat line we are going with then we just have a middling group of offensive receiving talent that is miraculously performing at an elite level that no other offense has equaled this year lol. You guys are a hoot
  22. Thats the only scenario I see the Bills making a trade for a proven upper end WR prospect. If there are no significant injuries to the WR group there will be no trade
