  1. If we could get another Beasley, I would be very happy to have that as the slot receiver. Kirk, yes he adds dynamism and would certainly represent an upgrade at this juncture in Beasley's career, but having someone who knows how to be a trusted receiver to make big catches in big moments and move the sticks the way Beasley has done over the past few years has been tremendous for both Josh Allen's development and for the efficiency on our offense.
  2. Out of curiosity, what is it from Stevenson that you see that you believe could be that surprise player? Is it just his speed or anything else?
  3. This thinking of - all we need are 2 WR’s and a slot - is outdated, sort of like the conventional defensive thinking of just needing 2 Cb’s and 2 safeties. The game has evolved to more wide open style of play, not to mention that Josh Allen is the best offensive weapon from the QB position the Bills have ever had. It only makes sense to surround him as much as you can with capable weapons. Josh is the multiplier, he makes everyone around him better, the better the talent around him the higher the ceiling the team’s offense can achieve. Also, what happens if either Diggs or Gabe goes down with an injury, then what? The team will be much better served with another dynamic receiving option.
  4. I like Feliciano but it made sense to release him. Good luck Mongo
  5. Edmunds may not get traded BUT, I have been saying for some time now that I think that there is a decent chance that Edmunds does end up getting traded. I get the sense that they aren't completely sold on him yet. And if they aren't, this is the best time to get some trade value out of him. With that said, they did release Klein and if they were to trade Edmunds, I couldn't see them going with Tyrel Dodson as the starter or some rookie LB that isn't a high draft choice. They probably would go into FA and address it, they would have to, right? The idea is to improve the team, not leave holes. I think Edmunds value is somewhere in between a 2nd rounder and a 3rd/5th. I would think that they will try to see if Edmunds is willing to sign for a $10 - $11M year deal and if he doesn't go for it that they will look to trade him.
  6. There will be plenty of money freed up to get a splash player if they so choose to do so.
  7. What I got out of this was the following: - He has no injury history - It was a clean ACL tear which is about as good as you could hope for - That he is ahead of schedule and recovering really well - J Williams thinks he can be ready within 5 -7 months before training camp - History says that if you try to recover to quickly before 9 months that the chances of retearing the ACL goes up by 700% - That typically for athletes below the age of 23 (He is 20), that typically reinjure the ACL 23% of the time - That even though J Williams thinks he will be a full go before training camp - The Bills may want to put him on the reserve list and that he returns sometime around halfway during the season - That he is a good risk to take if you believe in the player
  8. A lot of WR’s on those lists. Me likey!!
  9. I thank him for his services, he showed out when called upon but if we plan on keeping Edmunds, it’s the right move.
  10. Von Miller is who I would want. He was a terror the last quarter of the season and throughout the playoffs. He would be a difference maker for the defense. Chandler Jones is a close second. After that, Gronk.
  11. Even the 4th QB is a quality starting QB. All 4 are ranging from good to spectacular with 3 of them in the spectacular range.
  12. WOW! This is actually good for the Bills, makes it easier for us to get Homefield playoff advantage through the playoffs.
  13. The dude is coming into his own, if he can show another year of progression he will be a probowl caliber player. He's definitely on a good trajectory and truthfully I think it's a matter of confidence. He is now beginning to believe he can dominate and that is what he did in the 2nd half of the year.
  14. The rules are the rules and they have to be followed. Definitely a stupid stupid move on his part. With that said the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. Max two game suspension.
  15. The question is if they do try to extend Edmunds, do they have pay higher than they got Milano for? I don't believe he is as good as Milano but I would think he may feel slighted if he were tendered something below Milano's contract. They could maybe do 5 year - 50 million but I don't think he'd accept it.
  16. At the time of the signing I thought the Allen deal was a complete steal for the organization, now I think it's just ridiculously low. What a great deal for the Bills and you know what? Allen won't be salty about it one bit. He is all about the Bills winning championships.
  17. It is such a great draft for WR's, I'm hoping the Bills pick up two quality players at that position. With that said, I don't believe that the Bills will pay $12M a year for him when we are presumably about to extend Diggs for $20M+. Maybe if they can get him to lower the price tag to around $10-$11M they pull the trigger and look to plug other needs in the draft but I do think it's unlikely. With that said, Kirk instantly makes this a better offense and since we are on the cusp of winning it all, this would be a positional acquisition that most certainly keep this offense humming for the foreseeable future. I'd be ok with it if they thought they could make it work.
  18. He will be in high demand, the QB class is weak this year which puts an added premium with FA QB’s and Trubisky is viewed as one of the more attractive options. He will probably get a deal around the $15m a year with escalators to have it go up to as high of around $18m depending on performance. Lots of upside, mobile, good arm, young with starting and playoff experience. I would suspect that a year sitting with Daboll and Allen did him good.
  19. It is not atrocious, against top competition he was a persistently a factor. You’re just looking at his stats and coming to that conclusion, sort of like what many did with Josh Allen coming out of college. His film shows that he is not just a bull rusher but actually has really good gap burst. He could actually become a highly effective DT in helping collapse the pocket. Not to mention his near 6’7 height would be a net positive in helping bat passes down and not providing a clear passing lane. With that said, there is a question whether or not he has the discipline to continue to improve. If he is just one of those guys that does the necessary to get by then he will end up being an OK DT tackle in the league, which is not what you would want out of your first round pick. So for me it’s a matter of determining if he has that drive to continuously get better. If so, then he ends up being a probowl caliber player.
  20. Jordan Davis who is 6'6 and a half at 341 pounds just ran the 4.82 40. Holy smokes. If we were not going to get a WR with our first pick, I would certainly be A OK with that dude. I just think with the success that the Bills have with developing DB's, we could find some quality players to play well within our system with early to mid round picks. Draft a couple, I would think that one of them would stick in becoming a quality player.
  21. This would be good for a Diggs extension, same rate and it would be a six year including the extension and would actually be somewhat cap friendly.
  22. Bingo! He is a proud player and he probably wouldn't take that sort of a pay cut or any to remain a Bill.
  23. It's nuts how many people are almost to the point of indignant when referring to Beasley. All he has ever done with the team is come up clutch in hugely important games and has had lots of production. Yeah, his yards per catch went down but the dude gave it his all and that all was a huge net positive for his team. I would hope that we could bring him back but if not, then I wish him the best and thank him for his services which contributed to our past two seasons which have been the best 2 seasons since the early 90's.
  24. I'm in the camp of getting a WR with the 1st round pick, what about you?
