  1. These types of views and suggestions are not only unhelpful to the climate that you pretend to dislike, these views and opinions have created the climate. It's not ESPN and MSM stoking things, it's you. Look in the mirror.
  2. You’re lucky the thread isn’t about Tyrod Taylor by now.
  3. Not the River City Relay.
  4. Really? Maybe the greatest play in college history.
  5. What has Andre Holmes done to make you include him in that list?
  6. That is the west coast run/pass balance in a nutshell. Theyve been working on it for months. I find it dubious that they would be able to change the offense to a run oriented, power based approach in one off week- even if the players are familiar with the concepts from the last couple of seasons. It takes more than a week to make that substantial a change. Plus, why would you think that their current coaching staff is remotely as good at understanding and implementing that type of scheme as the last one was? Its not their offense. I think they should focus on moving forward at this point and work on the passing game.
  7. They’ll make something up like they always do and take it to the Supreme Court if possible. If the suspension stands then they will crap on the commissioner and the CBA.
  8. More nonsense from the "scientists". #fakenews
  9. I think hes being ironical.
  10. Well, Henderson looked worse than Mills in the preseason, by far.
  11. The problems are obvious. The solutions are not. I might try: More designed runs for Taylor, like QB draws, read options and maybe even QB sweeps. More reverses and screens to Tate, who can run after catch. A limited package for Peterman, who is a better scheme fit, to play 5 to 10 plays per game. It will open up a part of their current playbook that they just can't use right now and will be helpful keep opponents off balance. It will also help to evaluate Peterman and give him experience. 1 or 2 gimmick plays per game, like a flea flicker or throw back pass, to try and get a big play and reduce the need for a long drive. I would probably avoid fake punts because those can hurt the defense. 3 or 4 all streaks type plays where they go deep to try and stretch the defense regardless of coverage. Maybe the get lucky, maybe they don't but at least they put in into the defense's minds and if it's intercepted then it's probably as good as a punt.
  12. That would be a Doug Whaley - Rex Ryan move, but I dont see Beane - McDermott doing it.
  13. Now we're getting somewhere. I like it.
  14. Because there was obviously a reason besides ability that he was cut. Not sure what it is but there had to be.
  15. No kidding. Damn. Puts my week into perspective.
  16. Awesome. How will they allow him to see over the 6'-8" defensive lineman? Maybe have the Lilliputian OL punch them in the groin so the double over?
  17. Yeah, Dawkins. I don't think Watkins is either but that's not pertinent.
  18. I suspect Groy will look much like he did in 2015 if he get's in there instead of last season, just like Miller. It would be worth finding out though. Also, I don't know if Dawkins at RT is better than Mills at this point. Last season Kouandjio looked good, Groy looked good, Miller looked good...
  19. Why did his play fall off a cliff under the new coaching staff and scheme? Are they maximizing his abilities and putting him in a position to succeed? Doesn't seem like it unless he suddenly forgot how to block.
  20. Well the refs ruined this game. They were the most influential people on the field with several questionable calls. Good job.
  21. If Dareus would lose some weight and get back into peak fitness he could replace Williams at 3 technique when he retires. He wasn't anywhere near this big when he was drafted. At this size, he is basically a 2 down DL and is splitting those reps with Thornton and/or Worthy, so not much playing time and limited impact.
  22. Like an common sense adviser telling him not to film himself doing things like this.
  23. It's like going to a gun fight with a knife. They have very little to work with right now.
  24. Why is this a more likely explanation than it being Tyrod's fault?
