#1) Offensive players can move as much as they want before the snap as long as they're not moving towards the line of scrimmage. No more false start penalties because some offensive tackle's ear twitched. If they aren't moving forward then no advantage is gained. #2) The zone in which contact with an offensive receiver is allowed is increased to 10 yards. Time to give the DBs a chance again to cover people. #3) Touchbacks from kickoffs start at the 35 yard line. I know that the league is trying to eliminate contact and all but touchbacks are boring. Kick it in play or give up decent field position.

Kelsay had better not take any of Moore's snaps. Merriman had a couple of nice plays but the jury's still out on him IMO. I'd play Moore 50% of the time and split the remaining reps on rushing downs between Kelsay and Merriman. When Anderson get's back we'll see how everybody is playing and figure it out from there but honestly Anderson didn't really impress me that much earlier this year.

I have absolutely no problem with Lindell. I actually prefer to kick it high to one corner and invite the opponent to return it. The average opposing starting field position last season was inside the 25 yd line so what's the difference? Yes, you may get one taken back on you but you may also force a turnover. With the extra 5 yards on the kickoff the Bills made a lot of stops inside the 20. And he's is a solid FG kicker.

I think that he's right that the replacement refs were placed under far more scrutiny that the regular officials and that made them look worse than they were. I remember Collinsworth literally analysing every single penalty in one game I watched and any non clear cut call was blamed on incompetence. Frankly, I appreciated their "let them play" attitude. They were inconsistent at times but were getting better. The regular officials make plenty of mistakes in these games too. It would be a shame if the refs are blackballed as he fears. Someone had to officiate these games. I agree with this too.

I think people are getting out of hand with these comparisons to all time great players like Sayers or Sanders. Spiller has a ways to go before he should be considered in their class, especially Sanders. He is definitely a weapon though.

Hairston's strength has been his pass blocking and his run blocking has been shaky, so I wonder about him at RT. Of course his pass blocking has been shaky the last few weeks as well, so maybe he's not a starter at all. I think the Bills should still be looking to upgrade RT if possible.

I thin everyone is getting carried away. Spiller is very good but he still has some limitations. He won't finish his runs strong, he has lots of negative yardage plays, he still hasn't shown that he can handle 25+ touches or more on a consistent basis and he has shown a tendency to fumble. Spiller may solve some or maybe even all of these problems and really become like Barry Sanders but he isn't there yet. I think the team clearly missed Jackson vs Miami and the combination of Jackson and Spiller is still far more effective than Spiller alone.

He didn't really get a fair shake on Thursday. Rookie with 1 day practice on the road vs a defense he has never seen before. Then he has no running game or pass protection to help him out. Not exactly set up to succeed. Still, I thought he made some good throws and didn't panic in the pocket. I think the next game at Miami with a full practice week will be a better indication of what he can do vs Buffalo.

If the Bills want to get another legit starting CB, which they need, it's going to have to be higher than a third round pick. Top cover guys are one of the first things to go. LBs may be a greater need, but that doesn't mean that they should draft one ahead of a CB. CB needs to be number one or number two at the latest.

As much as it will hurt to hear, if the Bills don't take a QB at #1 then they need to consider another CB. Williams is really struggling and McGee is done so they really only have one legit starting CB when they need three. Draft a CB and maybe give Williams a shot at safety where the Senator has been MIA all season or play him as the nickel. LBs can be had in the later rounds.
