  1. I think if you review this thread you will see that this is patently not the case. He is on every other "overrated" list posted. I do think he's the best center the Bills have by a wide margin.
  2. This is the key problem, IMO.
  3. Actually they had Kupper at RG and Johnson at RT. It was a bad joke.
  4. #61 Kupper and #63 Johnson were absolutely abominable. One or both was cleanly beaten on virtually every single play they were out there. And this was vs Cleveland's second team. Not good.
  5. $90 million dollars would piss me off too. How dare they?
  6. My concern with Taylor is whether he can stay healthy. He runs a lot and needs to in order to be effective, but he's not as big as guys like Newton or Kaepernick so the chance of injuries are a concern to me.
  7. Let me be the first to say: "Super Bowl!"
  8. Sure, why not.
  9. I think Rex wants TT as the starter with Cassel as the fall back, so I suspect that's the way they'll go into week one. Personally, I'd like to see EJ as the starter with TT getting about 1/4 of the snaps but the coaches just don't seem to think that EJ can do it. They also seem to think that TT can survive the season as a full time starter with all the running he does. He's not as bigs Kaep so we'll see. I still think we'll see all three QBs before the season is over.
  10. Practice squad? Are you joking? You don't think someone will pick up a young former 1st round QB if the Bills waive him?
  11. I strongly doubt it. Manuel got his start in the scrimmage. Whomever starts game 3 will be the guy the coaching staff is trying to get ready for the regular season. Preseason game #4 is for the bubble players to sort themselves out. In fact, if Manuel is still taking reps with the 3rd team this week you could make the case that the competition is already down to Cassel vs Taylor.
  12. I hope Leodis is back for week 1, but if not then Darby will get the help he needs to be successful. This defense has too much talent and is too well coached to struggle because of one rookie.
  13. Gilmore is not a "lockdown corner" who will take away the opponent's best WR but he is a good, solid starting CB so I don't see any reason to bash him. He is certainly not going to be a problem this season.
  14. Actually, when you think about it it's amazing to me what Chan accomplished in a passing offense with Fitz as the QB and Johnsn, Nelson, Jones, Roosevelt, etc. as WRs I agree completely and it does bode well, IMO. This is the best coaches team since the Marv Levy days
  15. I think he'll at least get to Tyrod. EJ is not Rex's guy so I don't think he'll get the same length of rope.
  16. In fact, it would not surprise me if we see all three QBs start games this season for one reason or another. Cassel and Taylor haven't exactly lit things up so far either.
  17. I wonder if Manuel is still happy now that he's sitting at third string.
  18. Bills should draft a QB somewhere in the first 3 round every year until they have one they like. They should have been doing his over the past few seasons IMO. Drafting one QB prospect every 5 or 6 years and then waiting 2 or 3 years to see if he works out is terrible IMO.
  19. I add Harvin to the list as well.
  20. I'm telling you that they should get OJ as a consultant to round things out. But in all seriousness, how many trouble makers can you have on your team before you start having trouble?
  21. With the skill set and coaching staff that they have on offense now, if the Bills still had Kyle Orton they would be in very good shape.
