  1. Me too. Nice. What is the point?
  2. Given his declining play and injury history the Bills should and I'm sure will be looking at center options in the next couple of seasons. For this season he's the guy though so I hope he makes a come back.
  3. Lol. Pick his brain about what? The Pats probably know more about this offense from playing San Francisco the last couple of years than Jeff Tuel does at this point.
  4. Interesting question. I think he means a disappointment to the ignorant masses like us, not to the enlightened.
  5. That's not what the NSA says. If Matt Simms was named Matt Simmons, he'd be flipping burgers right now.
  6. Nice. I see what you did there.
  7. I don't know what took so long. The way the caching staff was talking this was an obvious inevitability. Why bother replacing him anyway. Rex has basically said that Manuel, Cassel and Taylor will be his 3 QBs
  8. I'm worried about his run defense. He isn't that big and is less physical than Searcy. With the Bills losing Spikes in the middle and going back to the defensive system that was weak vs the run two years ago I'm sensing that there might be some trouble up the gut.
  9. Sucks. Maybe next year...
  10. I think what Bettis means is Bill Cowher's version of "ground and pound". Two big backs pounding behind a big OL.
  11. He was all the ability in the world. If he can keep it together between the ears and be a good team mate, then he will be successful. That's the key.
  12. Seems like a little of a cop out. If the cheating was significant enough to affect the outcomes of the games then they should vacate the victories. If not, then fine/suspend him and move on. Asterisks are like trying to have it both ways.
  13. It's not rooted in morality (unless it's the forces of good vs evil or something- like when the Pats** are playing). It's about wanting to beat the best. Is there a difference in winning hit AFC in the 90s or the NFC? Which conference was stronger and which team won the Super Bowls? If you have the best teams in your division and you learn to beat them, then you can beat anybody. If you beat up on losers, then when the real thing comes around you get smoked.
  14. Personally, I'd like to see him stay in the AFCE. I want the best players in the league in the Bills division so that I can watch them twice a year. Plus, you don't improve by reducing the quality of hyour competition. I want to see Buffalo play the best.
  15. This is just my opinion, but why make the voluntary if you expect everyone to be there "or else"? Wake me when they start banging. That's when we'll see what they've got.
  16. Not sure. They think Henderson might be really good, they are really worried about Glenn or they might be grooming Henderson as a "swing tackle". In any event, I don't know how you can decide until the hitting starts.
  17. They're going to be doing it eventually. Every team has to.
  18. To say that the Bills will not have a pro bowl DT and "not miss a beat" seems a little crazy to me. At least they have time to prepare for him not being there but the DL needs to be dominant for the Bills to win this game and losing probably their best overall player won't help in that regard. Also, that article made me sad by reminding me that the Bills cut Landon Cohen last season for no apparant reason.
  19. The OT situation is as shaky as it gets. Glenn had a poor year last season. Henderson was good for a rookie seventh round pick, but below average for a starting NFL RT. And Kouandjio didn't even dress for most of the season. Those are the only tackles on the team as far as I'm aware. Bills need it all to break right- Glenn bounces back, Henderson takes a major step forward and Kouandjio turns into a competent NFL lineman. Otherwise, "ground and pound" may very well grind to a halt.
  20. It'll sort itself out. He'll get hurt in the pre-season.
  21. Maybe he would've been if Bill Walsh had been his coach instead of Dick Jauron.
  22. Declaring someone the starter when he hasn't earned it on the field will not create stability and confidence in the offense. It wall also not call off the NYC media. Gailey did the same thing in Buffalo when he handed the job to Trent Edwards right after he got here even though Fitz had taken over as the starter late the year before. We all remember how that worked out.
  23. You just can't build facets of your game plan around a guy that is 50-50 to be knocked out with injury on any given play.
