  1. I still don't believe, with his vision, toughness and experience, that he doesn't offer more than Bryce Brown. But there is no question that his is 80% of what he was 3 years ago.
  2. I suspect that the Colts will be the second ones to know, after the Bills and before the fans.
  3. Unless I'm missing something, they're just going to watch the next practice and see who is taking 1st team reps, then all will report it at basically the same time.
  4. I still say you platoon EJ and Tyrod depending on situation. They do it for every other position.
  5. I think there's a really good chance of this if Simms plays well vs Detroit but I can't say I would agree. You gotta keep Cassel in case something happens to Tyrod and EJ, IMO. You don't have a chance if your QB play is poor so I would keep the best three regardless of salary.
  6. OK. Let's not get carried away.
  7. If you have additional information from other meetings with EJ that is not in your article then you should report it. If the article omits important details or context then it's bad reporting. Your tweet doesn't follow from your article. Plain and simple. Just come out and say it's your opinion or theory. Everyone has an opinion about EJ.
  8. You are correct. That exact headline was posted on your Twitter account, linked in the OP to this thread. So it is an exact quote by you despite your attempt to subtly imply otherwise in your response above. Again... Misleading the reader. The only quote by Manuel in your article regarding playing "somewhere else" is what I quoted in my original response. It in no way indicates to me that he thinks "his days in Buffalo are numbered". That angle is completely fabricated by you. It's basically a National Enquirer style headline. But they sell right?
  9. Schefter headline: "Emkampali punches possible tranny attempting oral sex."
  10. Who is the copy editor that allows "Colon takes another pounding" to go out as the headline? At the top of the page no less.
  11. Sigh. Reporters are the best.
  12. I think that this is all manufactured by Wawrow as a way to generate interest and controversy where none exists. From the article: "Asked if he's considered the possibility of playing somewhere else, Manuel gave a mixed response. "I haven't. I don't know how that works," he said. "But I also understand the business of it. I don't know. All I can do right now is continue to play well." From this we get the provocative headline: "Manuel doesn't dispute possibility his days in Buffalo might be numbered." Nice.
  13. Good move by Ryan. EJ has the most upside of the three if he can win the job so it doesn't make sense not to give him a chance to prove it with the ones. I think the QB that looks the best Saturday will be the starter. It's a dead even competition at this point, IMO.
  14. I hear you, and I know that it's just Sal's opinion but it seems absurd to me. If Manning was the Bills QB right now I'd be placing Super Bowl wagers in Vegas.
  15. He had a 92.1 QB rating for 2014, which is better than is career rating of 82.4. He didn't suddenly forget how to play.
  16. I was thinking the same thing. How many championships do you have to win in a QB driven league before you are "good". Tough crowd.
  17. I read the entire Wells report. Don't ask me why but I did. It doesn't read the way you are indicating. Martin was visibly upset by much of the treatment. In some cases it may have been less clear but overall it was obvious to many of his other teammates that he was upset by it. It should have been clear to Incognito as well, and probably was.
  18. But he was the victim in this incident and it's being spun as a third case of him running a foul of the law. I think it's pretty low to bring it up.
  19. Enemkpali looks like the victim based on this report. The police even gave him the opportunity to press charges but he declined. It's pretty low of Schefter to pull this out and the headline is very misleading. Apparently Schefter is a very shady character.
  20. The fact that Jonathan Martin was hurting while Incognito was leading his bullying is even more reason that Incognito is trash. That's how bullies work. They pick on the people that are easy targets and don't stand up for themselves. If Incognito were a good guy and good teammate he would try to pick him up and give him strength, not run him down for amusement. I think you need to go back and review the report on his actions and comments and then explain to me how they were "taken out of context" or how they could possibly be justified. I strongly suspect that the reason there is such a large number of posters defending this behavior is that he is now a Bill. I see people attack guys like Fitz and Spiller and Levitre, hoping that they flop now that they've left, while defending Incognito. It's an agenda.
  21. The usual revisionist BS. If Incognito had signed with the Patriots he'd be getting lambasted on TSW. Now that he's a Bill he's a poor misunderstood soul that's being persecuted by the man. Kind of like Tom Brady in Patriot fan's eyes. Of course once he leaves via free agency he'll be scum again.
  22. Thanks for bringing EJ into this. Is EVERYTHING a referendum on EJ?
  23. I thought only Lee Evans was a "decoy" when playing good cornerbacks.
  24. Yes he does, but the entire offense does so it's not all on him.
