He makes some big plays but some big mistakes too. He's learning though. I think he's very solid for a #3 safety but he's not consistent enough to be a starter, IMO.

Mario certainly has the ability to play 3-4 DE but I don't think he wants to so that will play into this as well. And actually, he's the 3-4 best fitting DL that they have. They don't have anyone big enough to play NT and K Williams and Dareus are not fast enough to be ideal DEs, IMO. That would mean starting over with the DL basically.

Maybe he should start getting fitted for his gold jacket in the offseason.

Taylor good: deep ball accuracy; poise; mobility Taylor adequate: overall accuracy; arm strength Taylor needs work: making quick reads and throwing on time; pocket awareness. If Taylor was a rookie, I'd say that he looked very promising. However, he is a five year vet so my optimism is tempered somewhat. I know that he hasn't played much so maybe there is still room for growth but how much remains to be seen. I think his pocket awareness should improve with more game experience (if he doesn't get killed first), but I wonder about his ability to make quick reads and throw short & intermediate routes on time. That is something that he really should have learned by now if he's ever going to get it.

Generally agree with Gilbrides take on Taylor and on the obvious Pat* game plan this week. Now we'll see if the Bills can do anything about it. I think that Clay is probably the key guy in being able to move the ball. A few big plays to him would open up the running game too.

Should be the equipment staff. Wouldn't mean anything though. One of them has a brother-in-law that's from Massachusettes so it's all part of Rex's standard procedure.

Offense is better, defense and ST are worse. Since the new HC is a defensive specialist and their defense has underperformed, I think you can question if they are better coached. Not to mention all the discipline and time management problems. At this point they look no better than last year's team. I don't know if they're ready to do it but they really need a statement win to prove otherwise, IMO. 10 games is a pretty good sample size.
