  1. Actually, when you think about it it's amazing to me what Chan accomplished in a passing offense with Fitz as the QB and Johnsn, Nelson, Jones, Roosevelt, etc. as WRs I agree completely and it does bode well, IMO. This is the best coaches team since the Marv Levy days
  2. I think he'll at least get to Tyrod. EJ is not Rex's guy so I don't think he'll get the same length of rope.
  3. In fact, it would not surprise me if we see all three QBs start games this season for one reason or another. Cassel and Taylor haven't exactly lit things up so far either.
  4. I wonder if Manuel is still happy now that he's sitting at third string.
  5. Bills should draft a QB somewhere in the first 3 round every year until they have one they like. They should have been doing his over the past few seasons IMO. Drafting one QB prospect every 5 or 6 years and then waiting 2 or 3 years to see if he works out is terrible IMO.
  6. I add Harvin to the list as well.
  7. I'm telling you that they should get OJ as a consultant to round things out. But in all seriousness, how many trouble makers can you have on your team before you start having trouble?
  8. With the skill set and coaching staff that they have on offense now, if the Bills still had Kyle Orton they would be in very good shape.
  9. Yeah. He's doing great... and anyone who says otherwise is a scoundrel. At the post scrimmage press conference Coach Ryan said that none of the three QBs has separated themselves. And I don't think he was saying that they're all doing great. But carry on with your spin. The beauty of the EJ spin is that it will all play out on the field. Name calling won't really make a difference by mid season or so.
  10. The bottom line is moving the offense and leading them to points. The rest is meaningless. To this point, none of the three QBs have moved the offense well in practice or scrimmage so they're all equal.
  11. I don't see them cutting anybody. Whomever the starter is on opening day will be on a very short leash so you may see all three of them starting games at some point this season. In fact, I'm confident that they're going to have a special package for Taylor even if he isn't the starter to take advantage of his running ability. It's going to be QB by committee.
  12. Who flies from Charlotte to Greensboro? It's an hour drive.
  13. It's going to be tight. The Colts have the edge in experience which will help them on the road. I think one hidden advantage for Buffalo is that offenses typically take a while to gel and aren't hitting on all cylinders in week one. I think that works in Buffalo's favor because I like the Bills much better in a low scoring game decided by defense.
  14. Piper was the best. My favorite wrestler from the WWF days.
  15. While I don't disagree with Sullivan's article, I agree completely that running it on the first day of training camp does seem like an intentional effort to deflect the discussion away from football on a day when that's what it should be about.
  16. This thread, along with many others, is concrete proof otherwise.
  17. To me, Sullivan's column was about how McCoy doesn't seem to think there was anything wrong with his party while Sullivan thinks that there was. It's as simple as that.
  18. And Manuel was in there running the read option. That's the real reason, IMO.
  19. I share this concern. We'll see how this "low character" approach plays out.
  20. Playing good football is what life is all about. As long as the Bills win football games everything else is irrelevant.
  21. Seems unlikely that the Bills could get an existing OL coach with another team this close to the start of training camp. I think it's going to have to come from within unless there's some awesome unemployed OL coach sitting around somewhere.
  22. I wonder if Kromer is a good enough OL coach to justify all of these contortions being made by fans to defend him. He hasn't proven anything in Buffalo yet and he was not good in Chicago, his last stop,
  23. Luck is the intersection of opportunity and preparation. He had the opportunities, but he was ready to take advantage of them. And he added a lot more pieces in Buffalo like Thomas, Bennett, Conlan, Hull, Tasker, etc.
