  1. “If you whoop and holler all the time, the players just get used to it.” - Bear Bryant.
  2. And still would not have the best team in the division.
  3. Moulds was a monster. If he played with a real QB he'd be in the hall of fame.
  4. I doubt it. Ivory is better and younger than Ridley.
  5. It's interesting to see Marty Schottenhiemer with the #4 most aggressive season on record.
  6. Al Davis is turning over in his grave.
  7. Van Miller said that he thought Cookie Gilchrist was every bit as good as Jim Brown. I agree with those saying that OJ was a better runner. However, it's interesting to me that if I was going to put together a best all time Buffalo Bills football team that actually had to play a game, I would take Thurman.
  8. I think that the gap belongs between Cookie and the next guy (who should be Joe Cribbs btw). Also, Travis Henry? Really?
  9. I watch it on my laptop while sitting on the sofa. I have an Apple TV so I could mirror it to the TV but my kids have control of the TV and it's usually on Nick Jr. :-). It works great on the computer and then I can hit the shout box during the game with my I pad.
  10. You can get NFL ticket streaming in HD to a computer or ios device from Direct TV if you live in an apartment that doesn't allow satellites. You can google it and do it all online or just give them a call. It's a little pricey IMO, but it works great.
  11. Would be an awesome reunion. Incognito said that they were great friends.
  12. I did read the article. As Rex said, you've got to make sure you have your tackles first. Glenn is the teams best tackle. Moving him to guard makes no sense unless Henderson and Kouandjio take major steps forward, which is a big if at this point.
  13. Glenn is the team's best tackle so I seriously doubt that they would move him to guard. Both Henderson and Kouandjio would have to take major steps forward to at least equal Glenn.
  14. Draft a couple of guys in rounds 2 and 3 and let's play. I have high hopes for Henderson and they only need one more guy to emerge. Between Kouandjio, Richardson and two new guys they've got to find some one.
  15. Enough receivers. Let's get that guard that they need. It won't matter who is playing receiver if the QB is on his back.
  16. I think that Urbik is better than he showed last season and he's still the only other player on the roster that can play center besides Wood so I think it's a good move to keep him. I'm actually surprised that he doesn't think he can get more money elsewhere. Maybe he just really likes Rex.
  17. I assume that this signing would spell the end of the pursuit for Clay.
  18. Yes. As it stands now I see the starters as: SLB- Lawson, MLB- Brown, WLB- Bradham. Although if they resign Spikes this could change. Depth is pretty weak though. I wonder if Hogan or Goodwin get cut? I doubt that they keep 6 WRs. A long time ago. Yup. Also, even if the team doesn't bring in another OL free agent, I wouldn't bet on Chris Williams beating out Richardson or even possibly Kouandjio at RG.
  19. My thoughts too. And on returns and other gadget plays.
  20. I don't have a lot of confidence in the guy but if anyone can get something out of him it's Sean Peyton.
  21. But when did they need to cut Chandler to save this money? Couldn't they make sure that they had Clay first and then cut Chandler?
  22. I don't agree with you on the receiver part. Just about every pass to him that I can think of is a screen or dump off. That's nice but you'd expect better given his speed and athleticism. I don't remember too many wheel routes or anything beyond 5 yards really. I agree that his fumbling troubles have improved since his rookie year, but I see a 3rd down back who is not a great blocker or receiver or a 1st down back who can't run between the tackles. That's not going to get him on the field much, IMO. But anyway, good luck to him. Maybe a better OC can show the NFL (and me) what Spiller can really do.
  23. They could really use a guy like Spikes to play the middle when they go with 3 LBs vs the run (or 4 if you count Hughes as an OLB now). If he doesn't come back then there is a hole. Brown can move to MLB and Lawson plays the outside but that's not nearly as strong a combination, IMO.
  24. So if their attempt to get Clay fails, and I wouldn't put the chances at better than 50-50, then who's the TE? I just don't like these types of moves. It's a pretty big risk for $250k.
  25. Bills are lucky that he didn't accept, and it's not about the money. He's just not that good. He can't block, is a mediocre receiver, has had fumbling and injury problems and can't run between the tackles. He's fast, but it takes a lot more than that to be a good running back in the NFL.
