  1. I really like Summers and am sad to see him go. The FB position is just dead apparently. I don't know how you can be a power running team and not have a fullback but anyway...
  2. I'd say the Woods hit was legal and not dirty, but the Hughes hit was both dirty and illegal, IMO.
  3. Or at least an offensive assistant. It can only help.
  4. He's struggling, just like all the OL in this scheme. OL has been a linear regression since Marrone took over.
  5. Schwartz is a good DC but his record as a head coach is a lot more spotty. He may get some interviews but I wouldn't think that he'll be the favorite for any job.
  6. Refs let them play today. I like it.
  7. I still find it hard to accept that a team quarterbacked by Mark Rypien could be better than the Bills. That game should've been far closer than it was and maybe even a Bills win.
  8. Tavern on the Tracks is by far the best one. The only negative is that it's close to the football stadium and the Panthers play at home this week at 1p, which means you're going to be searching for parking. If you're willing to walk a little from your parking space you can find some free parking a few blocks away. Otherwise you can park and ride because there is a rail stop right next to the bar. Or, of course, you can pay to park.
  9. If the Bills didn't pay for Levitre then they aren't going to break the bank for Iupati either. No one on that list is worth the money they will command, IMO. Better off focusing on signing our own and trying to find OG solutions in the draft.
  10. I know it sounds crazy, but maybe he actually thinks the Bills will win.
  11. The Bills should not have done that. Karma.
  12. As Brian Billick pointed out in his article, Gruden is not exactly handling this situation well. Publicly throwing your players under the bus is not the way to earn their respect and commitment. If he really wants to continue to work with RGIII and try to get him to improve then he just made it much harder to deal with him.
  13. Jerome Bettis, RB - 1993-95 Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams, 1996-2005 Pittsburgh Steelers Roger Craig, RB - 1983-1990 San Francisco 49ers, 1991 Los Angeles Raiders, 1992-93 Minnesota Vikings Charles Haley, DE/LB - 1986-1991, 1999 San Francisco 49ers, 1992-96 Dallas Cowboys Marvin Harrison, WR - 1996-2008 Indianapolis Colts Junior Seau, LB - 1990-2002 San Diego Chargers, 2003-05 Miami Dolphins, 2006-09 New England Patriots IMO
  14. Several teams still run it. Carolina, San Francisco, Philadelphia, NY Jets. And it's occasionally seen in other teams playbook as well, like Miami's.
  15. Matt Millen disagrees with you.
  16. I suspect that if he went to Philly to play for Chip Kelly he would be an all pro within 2 seasons. His skill set fits that offense perfectly
  17. If Incognito was good enough to be a starter last season then I don't see how he can't be a contributor at least as a backup to many teams in the league. Obviously, his baggage is what's holding him back and it wouldn't surprise me at all if the league was colluding to help keep him out.
  18. Censorship by the thought police.
  19. I think that after meeting with Brandon, Whaley and Marrone, Pegula is going to refrain from major changes going into next season as long as the Bills win at least 7 games. I'm sure that the current administration will make some minor revisions but that's it. I see Pegula waiting to see what his independent analysis reports and what his own experiences are during his first full year of ownership including an off season. If the Bills don't make the playoffs next season, he will clean house and replace all three. That is my opinion.
  20. Absolutely, but it also puts a giant red flag on him so it would be a major risk. I really like Gurley but I'd be looking at QBs if possible with the 2nd round pick.
  21. Exactly. These ref segments by the announcing teams are pretty worthless IMO. Their opinions are really no better than the ones of the broadcasters or most fans for that matter.
  22. I understand being scared to go for it because the offense WAS stinking, but did he really think that the defense was going to force a 3 and out or something based on the way Miami had been moving the ball up and down the field all night? I agree with this 100%. This is my #1 criteria of who is a good coach: getting the best out of his players. I would say that Henderson has struggled as the season has gone on, not improved.
  23. Why not bring Mark Sanchez in to compete with EJ and Orton for the starting job? He has more ability than anyone in the draft. Either Sanchez or Foles are going to have to go. I doubt that they can co-exist in Philly without controversy.
