  1. It would be a cut your losses type move. If they trade him now then they might get a mid round pick for him based on potential to turn it around. If the wait until after next season then they would probably just have to release him.
  2. If he had done this in one of the Super Bowls instead of the Pro Bowl, he would probably make it further on the ballots.
  3. Spikes is a lot better than Harris.
  4. How soon before New England starts running the A-11 offense? It's legal. http://a11offense.com Check out the game video.
  5. I'd like to see Hughes, Searcy, Wynn and Spikes all come back. Competition at LB only makes the team stronger. Also, what's the guarantee that Kiko comes back 100% from his knee injury?
  6. But you don't get the #2 overall pick with a franchise QB available very often. If they think Mariota is the real deal then they'd be crazy not to draft him.
  7. Shoot, if that's all it takes teams will lineup to do it.
  8. Going from Kubiak to Marrone would be quit a shock to be sure.
  9. All the HC positions are filled, so it looks like a coordinator job or sitting out. I doubt he'd want to go back to being a position coach. I honestly don't bear him any ill well, but I'm not surprised. I said when he "opted out" that quitting your last HC job and leaving your team hanging doesn't look very good on your resume and it's not like he can balance that with a couple of championships or anything.
  10. Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy.
  11. Top FA Targers: 1. Jerry Hughes OLB 2. Mike Iupati OG 3. Jake Locker QB Top Draft targets: 1. RB 2. QB
  12. Can you still collect unemployment when you're making $4m for the season?
  13. Ding - Ding - Ding.
  14. All of them had very strong QB play as well. I think that this subject is one thing Dick Jauron got right- you have to be strong in all phases to win a championship. You can't not be able to run it effectively and expect to win. Especially on the road and in the playoffs. So, ground and pound is fine but they will have to be able to throw it well too.
  15. Very nice. I could've done without the aqua color scheme for the seats however.
  16. I think it'll be a lot of fun to compare the two over the course of the season. The two offenses are starting out about even, IMO. Neither has a QB. The Jets have a better OL and RBs while the Bills have the edge at WR.
  17. I don't think that Marrone would be a good fit with a veteran team like Denver. He's bound to have friction with the players. Especially if Manning retires and he has to start with no quarterback again. I think that at this point in his career Marrone would be better off going back to college. He might be a better fit as a college HC anyway.
  18. Put your best players on the field, regardless of alignment. The Bills have the best pair of DTs in the league. Any scheme which leaves one of them on the bench is not a good one.
  19. This is great. Imagine how awesome Hard Knocks would be?
  20. No kidding. Did you see the hatchet job they did on Marrone when he looked like a HC candidate? Probably cost him the job.
  21. This was certainly the case but I think a lot of that had to do with the defense.
  22. If he can coach as good as he can talk then the Bills are going to the Super Bowl.
  23. I agree. Two very good hires by the Jets.
