  1. Exactly. And I still think that the teen's black eye was caused by him trying to head butt Kromer and accidentally hitting his fist. Plus, these kids were probably huge high school lineman hyped up on steroids anyway. What was Kromer supposed to do?
  2. I'm not sure I follow. Did Kromer own the chairs or were they available for rental from someone? Or was Kromer renting them out?
  3. Wasn't this on a public beach access area? I thought I read that.
  4. What happened is pretty clear to me. Kromer heard some kids playing on the beach at night and went out because he was concerned for their safety. He found three drunk, 285 lb lineman having sex with each other and smashing his favorite beach chairs. He politely told them to stop, when they went berserk. They threw their fishing poles into the water and charged him in a steroid induced rage. He raised his hand to his face to protect against a head butt attempt by one of the "kids" and the lineman struck his hand with his eye. He then tripped over the leg of one of the chairs. Terrified, Kromer and his son retreated back to his home, telling the kids that he was going to "tell their family and call the police", which they mis-heard as "kill their families if they called the police." Couldn't be clearer.
  5. My thoughts too. imagine if this was the was the Pats OL coach...
  6. If you look up the HOF player bios online, if lists all the teams they played for with no apparent preference to any of them, except for the photo they use I guess.
  7. Lol. Exactly. Using that approach, Marrone is a great offensive line coach too.
  8. Lol. How great we're his results in Chicago? Honest question.
  9. Do players go into the NFL hall on a team? I thought that was only a baseball thing?
  10. Historically true. But given the Bills depth at CB and lack of it at safety, I suspect that he will adjust.
  11. Between his inexplicable propping up of Doug Marrone and now the publication of private medical records, Adam Schefter is dropping fast in my estimation.
  12. Relatively young too. RIP
  13. +1. Medical records??? Wtf? This seems wrong to me. So basically, if you can find a lackey that get's you the info then all bets are off and you can publish it as you please? That doesn't seem right. I was thinking of the same example. The one key difference is that simply being in possession of child pornography is a crime, regardless of how you got it or if you posted it or not. Sounds similar to nude photos of celebrities that get stolen and then posted to the internet. However, the celebs have sued the crap out of people publishing these things so there must be some legal basis to do so.
  14. You may be right, but perosonally I don't buy it. It sounds like he's just blaming other people for the issues he had- The Dallas center for antagonizing him, Shanahan for mis-using him, his financial advisor for blowing his money. I'm usually a sucker for redemption stories, but to me step one is to look in the mirror, not try to find other people to blame.
  15. His open letter to himself is actually a letter to us, the general public, seeking some level of redemption or at least repair for his image... otherwise why write it? From my perspective, since the letter is autobiographical it is naturally biased. There are no statements from Mike Shanahan, his reportedly corrupt friend, or anyone else. Just Haynesworth in damage control mode way after the fact.
  16. That I've personally witnessed- 1. Bruce Smith 2. OJ 3. Thurman Thomas 4. Jim Kelly 5. Ted Washington 6. Kent Hull 7. Joe DeLamielleure 8. Reggie McKenzie 9. Andre Reed 10. Cornelius Bennett
  17. Baltimore is going to miss Kubiak. He really had a positive effect on their offense.
  18. I wouldn't put Bryce Paup and Travis Henry in the same category as Ed Wang.
  19. Add to this that they were only average vs the run last season and lost Spikes in the middle and Searcy in the secondary who were strong run defenders. Their interior DL backups were so bad vs the run that they ended up playing Wynn there at the end of the year when Dareus got hurt.
  20. You can't pound him between the tackles and you can't run him outside where he runs sideways and runs out of bounds at or behind the LOS. Also, he can't pass block so be careful putting him in on passing plays. So run screens in every play that he's in there? You're on record. We'll see how good your scouting is.
  21. I seriously doubt it, but if anyone can do it it's Peyton.
