  1. Agreed - i rewatched the second half this morning. To his credit Mayfield barely avoided multiple sacks, their punt returner muffs a punt but it bounced right back, penalties on non-converted 4ths, a TD catch bounced off the defender’s helmet, a 2pt conversion was tipped and caught…. Everything went TB’s way and it was still comfortable for the vast majority. We ALMOST dominated them. Imagine if we had lined up under center and snow plowed our way to a TD when it was 3rd and goal on the 1 early instead of lining up in the shot gun and getting denied on 2 plays in a row. Imagine if mayfield’s knee dropped 2 inches on that near safety. They seemed to get some swagger back this week. Hopefully they find the way to make these ALMOST opportunities in to conversions moving forward.
  2. Thats moving the uprights from what you asked… that said, In 16 or 17 seasons Warren Moon was the offensive player of the week 16 times. Josh currently has 12. Moon likely would have more if he didn’t play in Canada, but I think they’re similar cases until Josh gets his ring(s).
  3. I've got a group going too - which lot is Bills friendly?
  4. 100% - No mention of that anywhere. It may only be a small +expected value, but the right play certainly was going for 2 there.
  5. I’m not a WR or a coach, but last night he left a lot on the table by not attacking the ball. It looked like he’d wait for the ball to fall into his hands giving the defender that split second longer to bat it away.
  6. I may be Mis-remembering, and I haven’t rewatched the game. I thought Dane was getting picked on early. They may have moved Elam over hoping he would do better vs Ridley. Unfortunately he didn’t.
  7. I’m not sure how your expectations don’t change. I’d agree if we came out with an L but we’re healthy. Losing Milano and Jones for a significant portion of the season has a huge impact on my expectations. Couple that with Tre and you’re replacing 3 pro-bowl quality positions with JAGs. While it may not have been a sizable impact in-game, OCs can now prepare and game plan for glaring weaknesses.
  8. Is Chicago eating the contract? I was under the impression that Miami had cap space left (maybe that's next season).
  9. The Kelce brothers have been promoting the "relationship" on their podcast for quite a while. It's as much promotion for their brand as it is for the NFL.
  10. I’ve been watching him every snap. He is playing purely for a sack and gives up quickly. Not impressive at all.
  11. They’re waiting to unveil the statue next to the buffalos at the new stadium.
  12. Because I think that Hamlin is a better safety than Cam Lewis and I think Elam is a better CB than Cam Lewis. I'll take a hit on ST if it makes my defense better. I believe the Cam has been on the gameday rosters so far because they needed two positions covered by one body. With Poyer out, they they now have 3 positions to cover with 2 bodies, and I believe the Elam/Hamlin combo is better than Lewis/Hamlin or Lewis/Elam.
  13. I'm guessing they sit Cam Lewis and bring up Elam and Hamlin. Lewis is there because of his positional versatility - but I don't think he's better than either individually at their position. Hamlin can play special teams (he did during the preseason) too.
  14. This is a business - he has one shot at setting he and his family up for life. He lives in Florida in the off-season. He will (and should) follow the money if offered a better contract elsewhere.
  15. Gabe is this year’s Edmunds. We want him to be more than he actually is. We see glimpses that he’s capable of being next level, but he consistently is what he is. Honestly - if you took away the 13 second game, his career would look incredibly more mediocre. I suspect he will get paid more by someone else and next year we will have a thread asking how he’s doing.
  16. Next Gen stat of the game: The Chiefs targeted Bears LB Tremaine Edmunds 11 times in coverage. Edmunds allowed 10 receptions, 88 yards and one TD.
  17. You're no son, you're no son of mine
  18. The sports network genre is horrible in general. Did Sports Center really need a segment on Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift this morning? The Sports Reporters was excellent. PTI is tolerable - shows like Around the Horn ruined the industry, because "hot takes" became more important that substance.
  19. https://www.wcvb.com/article/foxborough-massachusetts-new-england-fan-death-patriots-gillette-stadium/45194876# According to his wife he was a 30 year season ticket holder and there's a photo of him just before the altercation.
  20. Everything I've seen has said it was a 53 year old Patriots season ticket holder and he was wearing a Patriots' jersey.
  21. no reason to put tape out there on him.... 3d chess
  22. The allegation says during a zoom conference that Trotter was part of with other NFL reporters (employees), an unnamed reporter brought up a conversation that he/she with Terry. Trotter would not have heard the comment directly, as the unnamed reporter was recalling comments made at a different time and place. Trotter's complaint is that the NFL didn't investigate the allegation that these comments were made in a satisfactory manner.
