  1. Lamar to the Jets makes more sense.
  2. Jakobi Meyers would cost less and is a FA. Pair him with Diggs while having Gabe stretch the field would be deadly.
  3. I was there for the Everett injury and the rest of that season. The difference is that this time we have the generational QB on our side.
  4. An opportunity to have a fevered crowd going into the game and an opportunity for a “you were to there moment.” It’s probably selfish - but there were tens of thousands of phones recording and waiting for something that never came.
  5. He is back in Buffalo as of today.
  6. I was surprised that the organization didn't do more before the game - it seemed like the crowd was waiting to explode if they would have put a message from Damar on the jumbotron or something, but nothing happened and the energy was sucked out of the air quickly after the national anthem. For those that weren't there, they had a video montage to blizzard and introduced the training staff one by one. We were fortunate that kickoff was returned to pump up the crowd again, but I thought the crowd was really subdued. I'm grateful for the win - it just seemed like a missed opportunity by the organization.
  7. I would think that Buffalo and KC would abstain as they're receiving benefit from the proposal.
  8. Buffalo vs KC in the AFC Champions - played in Cincinnati.
  9. I'm anticipating high energy and emotions up front. I can see that either carrying through the game followed by post game exhaustion or the energy being sucked out quickly if things go sideways.
  10. I/you couldn't - but that's the difference between humanism and fanaticism.
  11. As a human, I'm hoping that they have counselors available to help players process. As a fan, I'm fearful that this impacts players beyond this game and this season. I go back to Tre White talking about how his injury gave him a chance for the first time to see that he's more than a football player, and that there's more to life than the game he's played since he was a kid. I can see an event like this triggering someone, that already has thoughts about the greater meaning, to walk away early.
  12. I cant imagine they play this week. I think the best answer so far is to move forward and play next week's games. After the last game is done - flip a coin for the Bills/Bengals.... or flip two coins. The first decides if it's a tie. The second decides who wins.
  13. 0% chance this factored into the decision. They wouldn't make that call until after the ambulance had left. They would have a good head start on stadium traffic and likely a police escort.
  14. Kolber was not up to the task - really Schefter wasn't either. Booger said what needed to be said, but Van Pelt and Clark were amazing given the circumstances
  15. It was a disappointment at the time - they doubled down on DE when there was glaring need and top choice match (Creed Humphrey). Outside of that, he's like most 2nd rounders in that class have been meh.
  16. I'd send them a 3rd rounder for Adams if they eat part of his salary - Get 'r done Beane.
  17. As cliche as it sounds - “Trust the process”. Even in the first Miami game, we were the better team. A lot of “fans” looked at the results rather than the process. Despite all of the Bills’ injuries, the team assembled (players and staff) is still better than the competition.
  18. 1) Vigilante justice is not legal in the US, whether morally justified or not 2) He has been suspended by the NFL network while they review the matter There's also this: https://www.tmz.com/2016/09/30/willie-mcginest-sued-you-knocked-me-out-cold-called-me-a-B word-ass-n/
  19. They also have a OL that fits the scheme. They're very good and surrounding their RB with OL and pushing the scrum forward
  20. "Laterally - the worst play in NFL history"
  21. I can remember pelting the broncos bus with snowballs in 2005 and the police escort as well....oh to be young, drunk and invincible. I agree that it's not part of the game, and have no issue with security picking out the 100's of violators and kicking them out. That said, to expect that it won't happen or to penalize a team is foolish. If the league has an issue with safety, the course should be to stop play and/or pull players from the field. After that the, crowd will enforce itself.
  22. No seats left for any of the games... all said they were already taken.
  23. Squish the mammal fish Playoffs for them, just a wish Revenge is a cold dish
  24. And AC works great when the power is out and flood waters are reaching your soffit....
