If I told you... (Injury Reflections)
DasNootz replied to Captain Caveman's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they're resting Knox and Poyer this week because they're banged up (but not necessarily injured). The KC game is HUGE, and they're doing what they can to be as close to full strength as possible for that one. -
I can absolutely see any of the following upsets happen: Colts over Broncos (Broncos are looking like a mess too) Jets over Dolphins (this is my favorite) Lions over Pats (Top scoring offense - but needs to find a way to may Pats punt) Washington over Tenn (Tenn has not passing game) Browns over Chargers (If Garret plays) Cowboys over Rams (They get to Cooper Rush)

Cut Gabriel Davis and sign Odell Beckham Jr.
DasNootz replied to Joe Ferguson's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let's start a new TBD contest - the poster getting the most quality reputation points on a single post during a given week gets to kick one poster of their choice out. Who's with me? -
The dude left everything on the field for us. History will look favorably upon him in Buffalo.
-
The numbers I saw were: White: 5'11 175lbs Poyer: 6'0 192lbs Hyde: 6'0 197 lbs Benford 6'1 205lbs
-
It has much more to do with the line in front of him allowing him to move freely and confidence in knowing where he needs to be.
-
White would be about 25 lbs undersized for a safety. Benford would be the better option, and his hand injury would be less of a liability.
-
When the play strarted, the line of scrimmage was the opposite 47 yard line (53 yards from the endzone). A draw for 3 yards would get them to the 50 yard line. 50 + 18=68 yards. I stand by my math and my post.
-
Two options were forward and immediately down or make it to the sideline. He tried to do both and didn't. Not his fault, not Josh's. The battered line held taking them out of range, and then collapsed on the final play.
-
At the Miami 47 following the holding call- a draw gets you 3 yards? That puts the ball on the 50 which equates to a 68 yard kick. That would be a new NFL record.

Myles Garrett injured in car wreck (non life threatening)
DasNootz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The state just released them for hunting season - total negligence. -
I'm thinking Cam Lewis comes up for a little versatility between CB and S

Josh Allen hand injury (Allen says he's fine)
DasNootz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
short hopped it because he hesitated... you can see him do quick double pump which threw off his mechanics. -
The Chargers and Herbert are a photocopied version of the Bills and Allen. They're really similar, but not quite as sharp. Mahomes is a point guard playing QB that can also throw it a mile. His ability to elude tackles and throw from any angle is unmatched. Allen and Mahomes are different QBs, but both are winners and the best in the game.

I’m not a conspiracy guy - but there’s a lot of Ticky-tack calls going for the home team.

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
DasNootz replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe the Ravens offered him Kyler Murray numbers - but he wants Watson's fully guaranteed contract. -

Cleveland really screwed the rest of the league with that Watson contract. If Baltimore franchise tags him in 2023, I believe the figure is currently around $45 million. In 2024 it's around $54 million. That Allen deal looks better and better.... Imagine paying $40 million more over the next 2 years for Lamar Jackson vs. Allen. -
The Ripoff Report: Game Thoughts
DasNootz replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
In the NFC, I think TB is likely the favorite, with LAR, GB, SF (maybe NO) all in the mix. From the AFC, I'd take Buffalo, LAC, KC over LAR, with Cincy, Denver, Baltimore, Colts and Raiders all in the same tier. -
The fact that we don't need to rush/force a first round pick is a blessing. Both had meaningful snaps last night and both played well for their roles. Having depth isn't a bad thing.

Watching Bills games with sports bettor’s
DasNootz replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
From a fan perspective - it's no different than watching with people that are big into fantasy. Personally, I did away with fantasy sports a few years ago, and for me it made watching the games more enjoyable. -
The Ripoff Report: Game Thoughts
DasNootz replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the loss of Miller really hurts their defense - for both their DL and the DBs. Ramsey has always been boom or bust (like Diggs brother). When he makes the INT he's great, but he gets burned a lot too. I couldn't believe how little they used Allen Robinson last night. I don't think they'll be NFC favorites, but they're playoff caliber. -
How confident are you going into tonight's game?
DasNootz replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is my weekly cycle for the next 5+ months. -
How? Most of his money was guaranteed. We'd have to sign him to a new deal and still pay out the old guarantees.
