  1. low cost in the cap this year... and only a pick swap? This seems like a gift.
  2. I'm not sure I would call the Jets a bottom feeder at this point. With the relative weakness of their remaining schedule compared to ours, I think the division will still be close.
  3. They have billions of reason to lie... or at least turn a blind eye. I'm not a neurologist, and I clearly understand there's a difference between the NFL and youth/highschool sports... but I would be irate if my child was put back into a game after what I saw with my eyes.
  4. Inexcusable decisions at the end.
  5. Aside from the butt-kicking, I’d like to go on record that we need to stop playing Seven Nation Army at home games. Let Baltimore have it.
  6. 1) Travis Kelce having only 8 receptions for 69 yards and no TDs in his first three games (two of which were primetime) 2) Buffalo's defense being dominant without Milano, Bernard or Johnson 3) Steelers, Vikings, Commanders and Bengals records 4) Andy Dalton's performance last week
  7. Started playing it last season for at least 2 games - then they showed clips of the team singing it a Dawson's wedding. Dawson referenced it in the Embedded clips and it was at the home opener. Not my favorite - but the young adult generation seems to get behind it.
  8. Now they wear two mouth guards with the opposing teams colors and neither in their mouth.
  9. Knock him as a coach all we want - but how insecure is this board if we're bashing him for the way he dresses on the sideline? We're 12-1 vs them in our last 13 games, but for whatever reason the Dolphins still occupy a huge part of our headspace. Lets just be happy that his poor game management, figured-out offensive scheme, and leaderless roster is in our division.
  10. "Below average passer" is a defendable position. "Below average quarterback" is not. He is an offensive weapon - and I believe that many teams would happily trade their QB for him straight up.
  11. The Jets signing Tyrod is big in my opinion. Last year the season was lost when Rodgers went down. Tyrod can't carry a team, but he won't lose you games either. The defense is strong enough that they'll still win games with him under center. Personally, I see them as more of a threat than the Dolphins. 1a) Bills 1b) Jets 3) Dolphins 9) Patriots
  12. I've been to games in many other NFL cities and have season tickets in Buffalo. Buffalo is the only NFL stadium I've been too where fans stand the entire game. I've seen it in college stadiums (typically in student sections), but for the NFL it is not the norm. 3rd downs, big plays, sure - but the entire game... not typical.
  13. The link says 18 games - which seems much more likely than 28
  14. and it should have had Shaq instead of Laettner... and they played well as a group, not just as individuals.
  15. IN before someone gets the last word... and then somebody else gets the last real last word... and then the first guy agrees to disagree and gets the last real last word...
  16. I think you can reasonably rule out week 16 as a bye week.
  17. I get that you can't grade a draft until they play - but I think we can grade the logic behind the decision process. I think that this draft showed that Beane is comfortable in his position and didn't need to force things to keep ownership happy with a shiny new object. If Coleman was their man from jump, it makes sense to trade back and get extra value. I love Bishop. Like others, I would have loved to see Franklin or Rice here based upon their pre-draft rankings. That said every other GM valued them less than their rankings too, and I'm guessing that they access to intel that we don't. We appeared to get good value at positions of need. This team has to turn over some mid-level guys. With any luck we found a few solid starters and a few more capable players in this league.
  18. An obvious #1 WR
  19. Do you even watch football?
  20. This…. If Worthy wasn’t our guy - KC was getting him anyway. At least this way we strengthen our draft capital and weaken theirs. Outside of Elam, Beane and Co. have shown their willingness to move up and get their guy (especially physical freaks). Obviously there is something they didn’t like with Worthy.
  21. Offer fractional ownership (complete with profit sharing for stadium revenue) with the PSLs…
  22. All the reports I've seen say we are giving a 6th this year and a 5th next year... not receiving them.
  23. I assume the valued the draft capital to move up this month more than the cap burden savings of waiting until after the draft.
