We could go 11-5 and it's not all that crazy.
DasNootz replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally think 0.39063% is crazy. That's the odds of winning the next 8 consecutive coinflips. In which of these games do you think we're favored by more than 3 at this point with this offense? -
McDermott noncommittal of Glenn starting LT
DasNootz replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dawkins was dreadful yesterday.Trading Glenn makes no sense to me either.. The OL needs to be a place of strength for this team do anything this year, next year or in the foreseeable future. That doesn't happen by trading your best OL talent and hoping to replace him in the draft. We have too many other needs to be adding LT to the shopping list this offseason. -
If the bills lose this week, does your opinion change?
DasNootz replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You're right. The loss of Matthews is the same as losing Julio Jones. /sarcasm. Maybe you can equate it tot the loss of Sanu, but the equivalent of them losing Julio would be us losing Shady. Vic Beaslely, Courtney Upshaw, Ricardo Allen all didn't play on defense. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the win, and I understand anything can happen in the NFL. I was much more impressed with the Denver win than the Atlanta game. -
If the bills lose this week, does your opinion change?
DasNootz replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A win this week will mean more to me than last week. We beat a seemingly good team, but without its star talent. Their crowd was a non-factor, and we won't get either of those benefits this weekend. This has the feeling of a let down game, and it's one you just need to survive. One Vontaze Burfict cheap shot, and we could be in for a world of hurt. Survive and make it to our bye, and I'll start feeling a whole lot more optimistic. always a classic -
[closed]Derek Carr possibly out 10/29?
DasNootz replied to BillsFan3434's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think it looks like a 3-3 stretch. -
Broncos fans near me drove up from Maryland. There appeared to be considerably more Broncos fans in attendance than Jets fans at the home opener.

TNF: Rams vs. 49ers at 8:25 PM ET on NFLN
DasNootz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not bashing Watkins because he's gone.... but he looks heavy and slow. -
Sell: Shady - his value is as high as it's going to be, and it still won't surprise me if he's gone mid season. Buy/Long Term: Poyer he's an emerging star Buy/Speculative: Tyrod - it's a contrarian play, and there is blood in the streets. He'll have a good week at some point, and then I'll sell. Hold: Offensive line - they are what they are, and the market knows it.

Trip to Buffalo - need help/recommendations
DasNootz replied to trip2buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm a big fan of Blackthorn Restaurant and Pub on Seneca in South Buffalo, but it's probably farther than you want to go if you're staying downtown. Great banana peppers, beer cheddar soup, wings, etc... and they just opened up a beer garden with corn hole and other games. If you're a Notre Dame fan, it's great to watch the game on Saturday too. -
Target TY Hilton? Other options at WR?

I'd absolutely trade a second for him. -
What would the Bills have to do against the Jets....
DasNootz replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A Bills win will prove very little to me, but a Bills loss will be a resounding statement and a sign to trade off any assets early. By all prognostications, the Jets may be historically bad this season. If we lose it's a sign that the culture hasn't changed as much as we'd like to think it has and we most likely found a way to beat ourselves, as on our paper, our roster is significantly better than theirs. If that's what we're in for this year - lets sell off now and go "all-in" for the next two drafts... at least that's a direction. It's hard to believe that Week 1 is a "must win" situation for the Bills. -
I was on board with trading Ragland for Dorsett. If we get him of the scrap heap and get a future 4th for Ragland, I'd be happyish....

New Parent - Bringing Kids to first game - seeking advice
DasNootz replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I brought my daughter at 3 to a preseason game (family day at the time) and she loved it. We left around halftime too. This will be her third season of going to one, and she looks forward to it for weeks. We're also bringing a 1 year old. I've taken newborns to MLB games, and its never been an issue either. -
We loved kids day in the past... my oldest daughter has gone since she was 3. This year we're going to next week's Thursday night game with my 1 year old... I don't anticipate making it beyond halftime, but a callused heart must start somewhere/sometime. I'd never take them to a regular season game, so I'm hoping that the preseason game will be a little more family friendly and certainly less crowded.

The data doesn't show much... Lots of teams still sucked despite not having a ton of injuries.

Question relating to real estate law:
DasNootz replied to Chautauqua Mafia's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not a lawyer - but a real estate broker and owner of several investment properties. I don't think she'll have a leg to stand on provided she satisfied her self of condition at the time of the walkthrough and returned the deposit. If you didn't have signed condition form at the time of exit, I'm assuming you didn't have one at the time of move in. She'll have no way to prove what the condition was before you moved in and what happened after you moved out. Stand your ground. -
I plan on going but haven't gotten tickets yet.

Joe B: What Brandon Beane wants in a QB
DasNootz replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taylor's elusiveness is an asset and a liability... He makes his own plays, but sometimes that means the OL have 0 idea where he is and block accordingly. He may get tons of rushing yards for a QB, but a QB that read the defense and reacted accordingly, wouldn't need to be rushing the ball nearly as often. If he can learn after all this time to be a pocket QB first, his legs will become even more dangerous and the sky's the limit... but until that time, his upside is limited. -
[closed]Carolina fans are saying that Beane
DasNootz replied to Watkins90's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills did it twice... there's no doubt in my mind that we knew at least "some" inside detail on Carolina's draftboard. Whether that came from Beane or from McDermott's knowledge of the organization, we'll likely never know without investigation. Either way, it's about time the Bills started acting like they're paying attention.
