  1. Does anyone know if the Cowboys is sold out? I'm not eligible until tomorrow at 9AM. Thanks.
  2. Food prices in luxury boxes at any venue are ridiculous. At the Carrier Dome for instance - chicken wings are $2 a piece. An Italian sub is $95, cheese board $98, etc. It's easy to get a spend over several thousand dollars if you're hosting the day for a group guys that likes to drink. I wonder if beer sizes are taken into account in the study.
  3. The problem with that logic is that the balls were tampered with after the leagues inspection. Had that been Brady's defense, why would the ball boy lower the pressure after the league approved the balls... and why would the ball boy be given gifts from Brady.
  4. Show me another QB - active or retired - that says that they change(d) the inflation level of balls after they've been checked by the league. Aaron Rodgers admitted to overinflating balls and hoping the league didn't catch them during the approval process. That to me is completely different.
  5. Preaching to the choir - but how can people say there is no evidence that Tom Brady wanted the balls to below the leagues threshold of 12.5 -13.5 lbs? Had Brady simply said, "I like my balls soft", the equipment manager would have inflated them to the league minimum and the story ends. Instead the balls were inflated to the league minimum, tested and then altered after said test. Subsequently the self proclaimed "Deflator" received items of value from Tom Brady. Does Tom routinely provide shoes, autographs and merchandise to other staff members for simply doing their jobs? Had the equipment manager underinflated the balls prior to the league testing them and the league official didn't catch it - that's gamesmanship. Deflating them after they've been approved is cheating, no different than a pitcher scuffing a baseball.
  6. The "family" game is the best experience if you have young children - better than a regular season game in my opinion.
  7. Isn't Mario his neighbor?.. I remember pictures of Mario in the bobcat clearing Jim's driveway this winter.
  8. I've heard Jennings in a couple different interviews this offseason, and I don't like his attitude. He's openly said that along with the money that he chased in Minnesota, he left Green Bay because they had too much talent, and couldn't reach his individual potential with the depth they had..."
  9. exactly - someone else said there's logic to consider him a top 3-5 TE in the draft (not a UDFA). I find it hard to believe that someone who was ranked 4th best in the Colonial Athletic Conference at his position will be a top 3-5 TE in the NFL draft.
  10. It's hard to get excited about a third team All-Colonial Athletic Association TE.
  11. Should Dante Hall and Devon Hester be in the hall of fame?
  12. How nice... each of his kids get their own bathroom.
  13. I use them all the time. They're great, and if you're not into soldering, they're worth the hefty price tag.
  14. I have the winning lotto ticket without the right numbers too.
  15. Julius peppers and scot tolzien both played for other teams.
  16. I don't really understand the love that Gresham gets on this board. The only thing he has had over Chandler is career receptions, and that's only based on way more targets. They have nearly identical reception to target ratios, indicating that they have similar "hands". Chandler had more yards per receptions, more TDs per reception, more first downs per reception, and fumbled the ball less than half of the times per possession than Gresham did. Gresham also fails the eye test... he's the only tight end I can think of that looks slower than Chandler with the ball in his hands. People remember a good fantasy season a few years ago, but other than that he's the definition of "meh".
  17. Stewart was innovative at the time but should be on the Okay list. Pennington was well above average as was Harbaugh.
  18. Low end Okayist... Charlie Batch. He'll get you a win or two when the starter goes down and won't let the ship sink.
  19. Jon Kitna, Trent Green, Rich Gannon, Jake Plummer?
  20. My issue is that he fines Lynch for not talking to the media, but has no problem ducking public spotlight when its his turn. He's happy to be in front of the camera when things are going well, but when he's under fire, he hides under his desk.
  21. AP may very well be the exception to the "just another guy" running back philosophy in the NFL. I think he's worth more than 3-4 million per year, even at the age of 30. I wouldn't give him franchise QB money, but he's certainly more valuable than Ben Tate, Donald Brown, Toby Gerhart and Knowhawn Moreno were (each got $3 million or more last season).
  22. I haven't read through the entire thread, but what about Zach Mettenberger? If the Titans take Mariota or Winston with the #2 pick, and don't trade it away, where does that leave him?
