Do you have a problem with fans standing the entire game?
May Day 10 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
I stand the entire game (we are in the back row). I prefer standing. I stand at all my kids' hockey and baseball practices. Concerts, I stand. I stand the entire tailgate. I dont know. Maybe nervous energy. Maybe sitting 95% of the time at work? But I get why standing is offputting to some others (if not a barrier to entry). I do feel like I am more 'into' the game standing than I would be if I were seated. -
I dont miss it in the least. The only thing is kind of a 'desperation' in the crowd of being the underdog and feeling like all of us had to give 100% of our energy during the games to will the Bills to victory. We have a boisterous crowd, but that edge is gone. Itll be back at some point. I am thoroughly savoring this ride now, whether it lasts 15 years or 1 more day.

Panthers signing Raheem Blackshear off PS

Good for him. Hope he has success. -
Cowardly move by Evans there. That's all I got out of it.

I think this is silly for a traditionally exclusive window primetime game. If they would consider something similar for the 4PM slot, I think I can give it a chance.

‘It’s Over!‘: LeSean McCoy Rips Patriots Head Coach
May Day 10 replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wont do a dance that Belichick is done until he is done. That team over-achieved in both seasons post-Brady and came close to knocking the Bills off the top of the Division last year. It wouldnt shock me if they bumbled their way to a 10-7 record this season. With that said, there are a lot of signs that the Patriots are heading toward darker days that will probably result in Belichick leaving. The QB looks very limited. Belichick (who was always ahead of the curve) seems to have regressed several decades. Strange personnel moves like their 1st round pick this spring. Continuing to allow difference makers to exit.. without Brady to cover the difference. Not to mention a probably near and mid-term SB contender in their division. As far as legacy... I dont think you can deny Belichick will go down on the Mt Rushmore of 4-ish coaches. Whatever Brady does will diminish over time. If belichick went on to win the AFC with Cam Newton or something, he would probably be regarded as the best of all time. Post-Brady will knock him down slightly, but not much over time -
Pretty much everyone scares me. The Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, and Colts games prove that, as does 2 season-ending losses to Kansas City in the past 2 years... With that said, I would take the Bills over anyone right now, probably home or away. I really do think we have a potential top 1-3 defense as well as a top 1-3 offense, which could put this team in pretty historic company if they can take care of business this season.

Its a throwback. I like it.

I get that... but I walked away thinking the Steelers were just strong with the pass-rush and were opportunistic. The Bills also got a bit unlucky... blocked punt too, but that was a trademark of Haaeck's slow delivery.

How are teams this sloppy for week 1? I dont recall such a plague in the past. Like 75% of the league, especially on offense, were just not ready. The Patriots dropped a really critical divisional game against a potential wild card rival... and I see fans shrugging it off as no big deal because preseason is truncated.

Hill is going to get injured pretty quick in these offensive conditions

Week 1 - Bills 31 ~ Rams 10 - Morning After Breakdown And Reaction

The last time the bills won a regular season game by less than 10 points was when Cam Newton fumbled on the final drive -
Ugh. now we have to be force-fed and overwhelmed with funeral coverage.

I would think that the Chicago building will go out of its way to take events away from Minnesota, Indy, and Detroit. It will be a magnet facility like LA, Dallas, and Atlanta have become. That wouldn't be feasible for Buffalo.

CFB Playoff Expansion to 12 teams approved
May Day 10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in College Football
It wont be 12 vs 1. I would bet that the top 4 teams earn byes, and it will be 12 v 5, 11 v 6, 10 v 7, and 9 v 8. Those should be good games most seasons. Then those winners get slotted to play 1-4 in the QF games. So we may get 1 v 8, or 1 v an upset-winner. Maybe that game will stink... but some day, somewhere, there will be an upset. I also believe that the presence of the 12-team playoff, along with the name and likeness era will bring about a lot more parity among the haves in NCAA football. All this continues to shovel dirt on the mid-majors though. -
