No.12 UB vs. No.5 WVU Fri 3/20 2pm NCAA Rd.2
May Day 10 replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Because despite the community springing the dough to make him happy he just looked out for his own interests and went to Illinois. A selfish move and his name is Bill Self. His name is what he did. I tried to make a funny. Get it? -
Subaru Outback. Got one a couple years ago. Love it

In all fairness all bill thinks about is him self -
I invest what I can into a Traditional 401K every year. My employer kicks in a bunch for profit sharing and pension too every year. Within the last 2 years I started to put a percentage into a Roth IRA as well for a little balance. The company my company uses has automated investment options I use based on age, retirement goal/age, etc... I'm fairly young so its set at pretty aggressive. My extra money I want liquid I keep in an online investing account where I have another Roth IRA and also purchase and hold some Mutual Funds and a few dependable individual Stocks. I really got in and started heavily right when we went down in 2008 so it has been a good ride for me. My goal (although ambitious) is to retire at 59 1/2 years old. Im on track as of now.

Sabres on NBC-NBCSN 5 Times Next Season

The oilers were actually really good last night. Back to backs on the road playing a really good team. They were peppering Jimmy Howard and he had to stand on his head. One power play the oilers had possession in the zone for pretty much the entire 2 minutes with a number of shots. Detroit scored 2 empty netters to make the score look worse. -

He took his situation like a champ. Remarkable human -
I would go IV through VI, then the first 3. I think it would be a tough transition going from all the CGI/effects/choreography into the late 70s/early 80s effects.

Good for buffalo. Very exciting. Hopefully will break into the average joe sports fan consciousness. Be nice to follow something besides the sabres tank -

I can see both Arizona beating Montreal at home tonight and edmonton beating Carolina tomorrow. Those with buffalo losing would really be great. It would give the sabres a little more margin of error which is critical for their schedule. -

I still maintain that the Oilers and Coyotes arent even in the same league as the Sabres. You watch the games and they are actually capable of possessing the puck for a semi-sustained period of time. The main equalizer is the Sabres' schedule. Every game is huge. Could potentially be 7 up by the end of the weekend with 16 to play -
Jerry Hughes signs 5-year deal with Bills
May Day 10 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im cool with both sides here. Im sure the Bills offered quite a bit... but wouldnt overpay which is fine because I know they are thinking in terms of cap ceiling now. I dont fault players for looking out for numero uno either. Good luck to Hughes and I hope somehow he is still a Bill -

if this Greg Roman can manufacture any sort of sustainable offense... -
yeah, just google "Mr Show 2015". Its on. I have perma-smile. I google Mr Show every few months (for years) to get a snippet of anything possible for the future (they also had a really awesome movie script nixed years ago). I knew they were planning a 2015 reunion, but I expected it to be just a forum/little live show like they did a couple years ago. Was definitely going to go no matter what. Never expected this.

http://badassdigest.com/2015/01/07/david-cross-confirms-mr-show-will-film-in-march/ OMG OMG OMG Basically Cross had a kickstarter page for a movie he wants to do and some of the awards refer directly to new Mr Show of some sort. There was also a recent photo of a good chunk of cast all together http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2015/02/bob-odenkirk-explains-mr-show-reunion-is-about-mak.html

I don't understand the thought that Nolan suddenly wants to win to stick it to the Sabres angle. The guy has wanted to win to prove himself since he got the job back last year (hasn't done a good job of winning, not much fault of his). Finding buttons to push throughout the year, he has certainly played the "tanking card" to the players a few times... Im sure. There isnt much Nolan can say or do to get these guys to win. The only reasons for the recent "hot" streak are gone now. Neuverth, Stewart, Mitchell all trying to press and get out of here. Those guys were awesome. Flynn has been good too. Meszeros too but he is kind of a nonfactor. Girgensons is still out. Ennis is coming back which is disappointing. Murray has done all he can at this point. Let's see if they finish 30th. Magic number is 36. -

Long losing streak. I caught some of the 2nd period yesterday. It was 3 0 boston and shots and the play were fairly even... shots were 20 to 20 at the time. Arizona is done with the road swing... hopefully they could get a hot goalie -

Those were lucky goals/gaffes by luongo. The sabres were horrifically outclassed as they have been all season. Playing a few tired teams and neuverth holding a stretch of like a .960 save percentage as well a freakish shooting percentage (contributed to some goalolies) was what led to that "streak". The sabres are 2 hot goalie streaks away from being completely buried in 30th. Watched some of Arizona and a good amount of edmonton. Those teams aren't even in the same league. -

Blocked shots is a misleading stat. The Sabres have had a ton of them this season... because they let up about 500 shot attempts per game and "only" surrender about 30-45. That is why this Corsi Number thing has been getting so much airplay in the past few years. Hits would be more of an indicator, but hits is kind of an subjective statistic that is in the eye of the beholder and is counted differently in each building. The Sabres have only outshot their opponent one time in the past 29 games. Shots are also not a be-all-end-all. But that kind of trend is staggering. Most/all analytics point against the Sabres. They are off the charts. They have had some fortune the past few weeks. It may continue, but all indicators point to this "streak" not being sustainable. -

Vancouver was wasted too. One time the puck went to an empty wing and it seemed like it took the players on both teams 10 seconds to get over there. It looked like a Performax game
