  1. they may be sewage leaks, but they're OUR sewage leaks
  2. Its not just that. I think we have a wonderful thing there and I'm not so eager to toss it away so the NFL can chase high end luxury clientele our market really doesn't have to offer. I would be in for a meaningful resuscitation of RWS in 7-10 years. Like Lambeau, Arrowhead... or in an extreme case Soldier. Make sure the structure has integrity, maybe providing a few of the extra perks they want with a new stadium. I love the sightlines and atmosphere there. I like the history. I like the fact you see a highlight and you know what stadium it is instead of a soulless and dark and miscellaneous dome. I love the fact that I bring firends from other areas and we park in basically a neighborhood and they have the time of their lives and end up coming back at least every year. This team gets some of its energy back with a new owner. New (real) head coach. People are reinvigorated. A few wins and this team being relevant will allow them to raise the ticket prices plenty. Itll be similar to the Sabres' ticket successes IMO. The Sabres struggled at the gate from the 80s to 2006. Now they maintain a waiting list, even among a lot of playoff-less seasons.
  3. Rex Ryan and a motivated owner willing to provide resources
  4. I just dont get... if they need to pass there, why not run a Play Action misdirection, try to get someone alone, if it doesnt work and the guy is covered, Wilson throws the ball into the 12th row?
  5. I have been beating on that for years, but in a lot of ways I was preparing for when the Bills left. New ownership, along with a HC and OC who I believe are very capable of making this team a contender.... and a pretty decent season has rejuvenated my interest in NFL football. Loved this superbowl. Hated the outcome.
  6. They interviewed carroll. He was a confused stammering mess
  7. I know what you are saying. My mind was like disconnected from the game.... it went from belicheat is an idiot for not calling a timeout to something completely bizarre
  8. Imagine how suicidal jets fans will be if Rex works out here?
  9. That's a solid list
  10. Personally I was/am hoping the Sabres can be as bad as possible, but stay out of the record books. But if I had to choose records and last vs no records and not last, shatter those records of futility. We really, really want McDavid. Eichel would be fine and all... but McDavid looks like he promises to be a Superstar that transcends past hockey. I have watched/followed Junior Hockey for about 25 years and I have never seen a player at that age with that kind of speed, acceleration, and control.
  11. He killed it. Its up to him now though to back it up
  12. Yeah. Meniscus isn't really a big deal
  13. was Kraft's comments toward the NFL a lame smokescreen for Sherman bringing attention to this? I mean Kraft vouched for Goodell when he basically covered for a monstrous act like Ray Rice
  14. Exactly. That is their reputation and legacy. Bob Kraft harbors cheaters and enjoys all the fruits and notoriety of false success. Maybe he is in denial. Maybe he is aware. Maybe he is just gullible. The "hope" for the Patriots was to win a "legitimate one" after spygate to get an unimpeachable title and put sypgate to retst. They cant have that now.
  15. the NFL just "cost" Belichick, Brady, and the Patriots their good reputations. uh, no, Perfectly highlighted by a legend Don Shula calling the coach "Belicheat" before this even went down.
  16. A family who cheats together stays together
  17. I noticed BB was careful to say that they give them to the ref and have no idea what happens until they are in play
  18. yeah, to me the apparent fact that a Patriots employee let the air out of balls to cheat and create a problem is a symptom and not the problem itself. I strongly believe there is a lot going on there that skews "fairness" strongly in the Pats' favor, especially at home.
  19. well, I guess there is no need to see that movie as I know the plot and conclusion
  20. I wonder if they ever thought to put a crossbar on top of the FG. Interesting to think of creating a box
  21. I just think kickers and the science of it is better
  22. the physics need to change, they are correct. Just 20 years ago, anything over 40 yards got a bit sketchy and over 50 was somewhat rare/a huge boot. Now, things are pretty automatic to a point (unless you hold onto Linedell for too long and your team is incapable of trying for 50+ yards.
  23. This is basically a relapse of the spygate issues. The nfl never closed the book on it. They just pit it away and hoped it would be forgotten. They didn't want to devalue 3 superbowls. People were satisfied that they got their hearts broken against the Giants and trusted it would all be on the up and up with the pats. This isn't necessarily about footballs. It rekindles the spygate memories and there hasn't been any real closure there. Then people start thinking about how brady "guesses" correctly at the line with such a ridiculous rate... fumble stats... circus press appearances by brady and belichick. It's bad. Like you get blount. A scrub outcast... and suddenly he gets like 150 yards and 3 tds in an afc championship game. Gray does the same. Ridley and Vereen are scrubs. This plug and play just doesn't make sense. by themselves these things don't prove guilt. Combined you scratch your head. Burdon of proof for my opinion of this doesn't need to be beyond a reasonable doubt. It all smells very funny. Other great teams. Dallas. 49ers. Etc were just better than other teams. We're told the pats dominate for 15 years because of belichick and brady?
